Tambo Del Inka, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

Tambo del Inka was an absolutely stunning hotel and the perfect place to spend our first few days acclimatising to the high altitude. We honestly could not have chosen a better place. The grounds are breathtaking, with spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains wherever you look. It is such a peaceful and beautiful setting that immediately makes you feel relaxed. The pool was wonderful, and the spa massage was one of the best I have ever had. It was exactly what I needed after a long journey. The food was absolutely divine. Every meal was exceptional, from the generous breakfast buffet to dinner, and even the 24 hour room service exceeded expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious. I also really appreciated having complimentary muña and coca tea available throughout the hotel, which was a thoughtful touch and incredibly helpful while adjusting to the altitude. What truly made our stay special, however, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you for providing such a beautiful sanctuary where we could comfortably acclimatise before continuing our journey through Peru. We will always remember our stay fondly and would not hesitate to return.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, the reason I’m not giving 5 start is because while they are very nice to their clients, they treat the 5-month little llama extremely cruelly. They use a one meter(3-4feet) leash tie the llama to a pole, from early morning to the evening, the llama can’t even walk for more than 2 meters. A few other customers and I found this really in acceptable. Please treat the little llama better and don’t let her work for such a long time each day! When this changed, I’ll change my review and also recommend friend and families to stay here. Thanks!

Really mediocre compared with the reviews and all the ranks. People are not friendly as other Peru city. My mom does not feel good with altitude and they said the complementary oxygen is 10 mins. We want to ask concierge about travel questions. They did not want to actively talk. And seem does not like kid. I feel bad treated here. The restaurant we said we do not want to mix 3 flavor ice creams together and they feel we are very troublesome. Come on, you are 5 star and we suppose feel good with hospitality not cold not feeling we should ask nothing from you guys. Terrible 5 star experience

Most incredible place to stay in the sacred valley! We chose to stay there to acclimate for the altitude before going to Machu Picchu and then to Cusco. We stayed 3 amazing nights there! Enjoyed what hotel was offered: great restaurants, spa with amazing massages, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and simply beautiful ambiance! Hotel also has great shops and incredible surroundings for walking and enjoying the nature, beautiful flowers, river, mountains and baby alpacas on the premises. There is a town of Urubamba right next to the hotel. We went to walk around, visited the local shops and markets. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly! They gave us all recommendations and support we needed. Highly recommend to stay here! You’ll be amazed! So grateful!
