Monte Mulini Adults Exclusive Hotel By Maistra Collection

For me, a vacation means being able to forget the troubles you leave behind at home, and at Monte Mulini we had an exceptional one. I love children and have wonderful grandchildren, but when I need a real break, I prefer not to be surrounded by the noise they cause. Monte Mulini is an adults-only resort, and this is another plus point of spending a vacation here. The resort overlooks the beautiful bay, with its clean waters, which is also closed to boats and motorized watercraft. A beautiful park separates the resort from the beach, and a cycling/pedestrian path runs between them, connecting the two ends of the bay. Getting to the old town of Rovinj takes about fifteen minutes. Isolated but well-connected the resort, in my opinion, is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a well-deserved vacation. The various pools, the spa with sauna and Turkish bath, the gym, the restaurant for romantic dinners, and the breakfast restaurant are all positive features that add to the high-quality services offered by the staff, who are always present, helpful, and efficient. Spending a holiday at Monte Mulini is highly recommended.

I have been a guest at your hotels — Lone, Mulini, and Grand — for the past 7–8 years, and for the last 3–4 years specifically at Monte Mulini, always leaving happy and looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, this stay has changed that. During the reservation process, I explicitly requested a sea view room on a higher floor. I was offered a junior suite, which I accepted in good faith. However, upon check-in, the room turned out not to be a real suite at all, but rather two connected rooms — one of which was essentially empty, with a bed apparently removed, giving the impression that furniture had simply been taken out. There was no sea view either, as another building blocked it. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that someone would follow up in a few days to move me to a more suitable room. That follow-up never happened. For a 5-star property, this level of service — and the state of the room itself, along with the quality of the towels and overall cleanliness — falls well short of expectations. I do want to acknowledge the breakfast restaurant staff, who were consistently warm, attentive, and friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the reception team or the beach bar/towel service, whose lack of follow-through and apparent indifference were disappointing from a hotel of this caliber. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I have genuinely valued my past stays and would like to feel that way again.

Simply the perfect hotel. From check in to check out, it was flawless. Staff are an absolute highpoint - every single one of them was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Check in/out very quick and rooms were ready ahead of time which was a huge bonus after travelling. Breakfast fantastic; again the staff shone - service incredibly quick and smooth, no waiting for another coffee, the staff were on it as soon as you needed anything. Breakfast served until 12pm which was great for our late teens. Room servicing was again, faultless. Rooms spotless, high spec, luxurious and everything worked. Air con silent and efficient. Fresh water every day. Gym small but well equipped, never busy. Beach club runs very well; plenty of sunbeds, shades and very quick drinks service. Fresh towels on demand. Concierge great at arranging taxis and outings. Quick response to every enquiry. Good restaurant recommendations and booked them all no problem. I literally cannot fault anything; it truly is fantastic.

We had another wonderful stay. This was our third time here. The biggest advantage of this place is the incredible tranquility. It is very quiet, nobody creates unnecessary noise, and it is the perfect environment to relax and recharge. In terms of peace and privacy, it is hard to find a better place. The service at the pool bar was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. We would especially like to mention Vladan and Nemanja. There were a few issues during this stay. Our first room had a problem with the air conditioning, and even after moving to another room, the temperature was still not comfortable enough. Only after we contacted the reception manager was it possible to reduce the air conditioning to the minimum setting, which finally improved the situation. It would have been better if this option had been available from the beginning. Unfortunately, we also had an unpleasant experience at the beach. We left a phone wrapped inside our towel for a short time, and the beach staff threw the towel, including its contents into the towel bin. When we noticed this about five minutes later and asked what happened, we were told that they did not know anything about it. Eventually, a waiter from the bar had to step in and help resolve the situation.
