When I booked this experience it seemed like such a great idea but as it got closer I tried to talk myself out of it but I am so happy I went, what an amazing experience and such a pleasure getting to meet the host Kilian who was so nice and welcoming, he accommodated me even though I was late and gave me extra time as well. Kilian explained the whole process and said he would come out to make sure I was ok when I first went into the water, he even filmed a video for me as I was there alone documenting my experience. I am so thankful to Kilian for making the experience so incredible and couldn’t recommend him and Pajasauna anymore.

We had a fantastic time at Killian’s place! Highly recommended. Killian was such a great host. He is fluent in 5 languages, including English. We visited in late September and the lake water was about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Killian went into detail about how to enjoy the sauna and cold plunge. It’s such a beautiful natural setting. We’ve done other saunas in Finland, but they were public. This really is an ideal private experience and lets you enjoy it like a local. We spent a lot of time talking to Killian about his life in Finland and previously in Switzerland. Before you leave, ask to see his dog, a Lappish Reindeer Herder.

Absolutely amazing experience. After looking through tons of sauna experiences we booked this one and couldn’t be happier! You get the entire sauna and plunge area to yourself or your group. Everything was explained thoroughly and we were well taken care of during our entire stay. This location is so private and gives an authentic Finnish experience. You are away from the crowds and it doesn’t feel like a tourist attraction. The views are unbeatable, not to mention you feel amazing afterward! The host of this experience is phenomenal and you can’t help but feel good knowing your money is going to a hard working family. Would absolutely book again!

Pajasuana is an absolute must do while in Rovaniemi! A little bit of a drive outside the city center but definitely well worth it! We had a rental car and found the address with no problem. The sauna was ready when we arrived. Kilian explained everything, and had water, towels, and shoes for us. It was an unforgettable experience!

Excellent Finnish experience at the sauna and river. Kids will remember the experience for a long time. Took the 14 bus down on the way (about a 30 minute bus ride from center city) and then walked to the train station for the ride home.

100% recommended experience, it feels incredible. It is an old sauna with a lot of charm, the place is very beautiful and the owner is very attentive and helpful, he speaks Spanish. We arrived ahead of time and since he didn't have anyone, he let us enter earlier and stay as long as we wanted, at the end he took us by car to the train station. If we return to Rovaniemi, we will definitely repeat.

It is a highly recommended experience. The place is very nice, the gentleman who served us is very friendly and explains everything so that you live the experience in a different way. The site is somewhat distant from the city but there is public transport.

Really amazing experience! Very welcome, no complaints. The host is really nice and explained us very well by having me very confident and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to see that he also spoke French. He also gave us suggestions for places and other activities to do. We really loved this moment, it was one of the highlights of our trip! I highly advise and really recommend this sauna in particular because it is really atypical, beautiful and warm! Not far from rovaniemi (about 24min, it's really worth it). It’s an experience that can be impressive but once you’ve done it, you feel so good on top of the feeling of pride that you got there. I recommend 100%.

Brutal experience. The sauna with icy bath is a pass, you salt 100% renovated. The deal was super nice, close and professional. Everything was great, careful to detail. Also, we could see reindeer, which made the experience even more special. Definitely to repeat and recommend.✨✨

Everything was perfect. It was our highlight of the Lapland trip. We were warmly welcomed we were explained everything understandably. A nice sauna, with great extras like water, towels or crocs. Ice bathing in the open air and random aurora borealis was a single dream. Every time again I would book it again. The host was super friendly and still helped us to buy the right train ticket. You have noticed that the host has set up everything with full heart to make it as pleasant as possible for the guest. Full score!! It's as good as it gets.
