Santa Claus Village Guided Tour & Arctic Animals Adventure

We had a wonderful time with Brandan as our guide! The experience combines some of the top attractions including reindeer and husky’s. Brandan was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic to answer our questions, honest when he (rarely) needed to find out an answer, very organized and communicative about logistics. The tour was great, but our guide really christened it. Highly recommend!

That's really nice to watch, but all the things are a bit expensive for what they offer. The Santa House had more than a hour of queue in order to see Santa, but that's what it is. It's is really fun to cross the Artic Circle.

Wonderful tour guide and the day was way more fun than we expected. The dogs were ADORABLE. It would have been nice to mention we had a 1 hour break during the tour to shop / eat - which was lovely.

The guide was helpful and gave us an overview of the the areas. The overall experience was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Husky safari and the informative conversion about Huskies.

I went with 2 kids that still believe in Santa and they were over the moon. To me it was all a bit cheesy, and has a feeling of amusement park, but seeing them so excited was more than enough to make it worth it. They particularly liked the snowmobile, which is not included, but you can go during the free time. Our guide knew what he was doing, so he made sure we went first to the places that get busiest and we managed to avoid all the queues. I can imagine that if he hadn't done that we'd have to wait 30/40 min in each place and the trip would have been a disaster, so really happy with him.

Tour guides were excellent. We all thoroughly enjoy our adventure. Highly recommend this company. Highlight of our trip.

We were picked up by the lovely Alex and Pedro, we were guided all day and were able to skip long ques too. It was a fantastic day and would highly recomend them.

Alex was a great guide and the visit was very well organised and very enjoyable, we had a great time without queuing.

We are so pleased we booked with Nordic Adventures and had Alex as our guide. Excellent communication before hand and on time pick up and flexible on the day to timings. We were first in to see Santa and had the place almost to ourselves! Brilliant to be able to get to the front of the queue (especially as it was so cold!) and Alex was a great guide with information. Alex did a fantastic job touring the group around Santa Claus village and the huskies and the reindeers. I am a solo traveler, and there were three other families. Alex helped entertain me and make sure I was taken care of, so I greatly appreciate him for enhancing my experience. Thank you! I would definitely book with Alex and this company again!

I would recommend this tour as it will save you a bit of time (rather than doing it DIY, one by one). It is do-able the three activities in one day in santa village becauseeverything is walking distance in there, but if you want to know more infos and trivias, and save time on searching the places where to do activities, and queuing to buy the tickets then i would recommend you to book this one. It includes everything and the guide will answet yout questions. Thanks to our guide Alex, we manage to do everything we want to do in 1 day. We didnt have to line to buy tickets in that cold weather. The trivias and his shop recommendations are interesting and useful!

We had a brilliant day out with a very informative guide. Collected from our apartment and taken to feed the reindeer, we had a sleigh ride followed by a hot drink. Moved on to visit the Huskies,they were wonderful to see, the ride was brilliant. Met Santa and had lots of information throughout from our guide :)

The tour itself was soo worth it. We got to ride in a husky carriage (I advise 5km distance), had a tour in the husky farm, got to pet beautiful huskies, sent letters from Santa’s Post Office, see Santa himself, rode in a reindeer carriage, and had an adventure on snowmobile, and entered the ARCTIC!!! Everything from 10:30 till 16:00. I wish we could spend more time in Santa’s Village but everything closed at 17:00. Alex was a very very helpful and polite person. He was kind enough to arrange additional things that we wanted to add to the tour today! He was very understanding too. Also, he told us about the live video-cam that was installed right where you enter Arctic Circle. He helped us bu taking a lot of our pictures too!!

Great visit and informations about Rovaniemi, christmas anda costumes. The time was good and activities were great.

We had a fun day with Alex our tour guide. He came and pick us up directly at the hotel and he stayed with us all day. We got to see Santa Claus and Alex brought us at the perfect time so we didn't have to wait long, exhausting queues. He then brought us to see the huskies and do a ride with them and finally a ride with the reindeers. By being with him we basically didn't do any queue at all. Which is great with young kids. Thank you very much Alex!

It was a funny tour. At the reindeer farm we fed the reindeer and we did a reindeer sled ride; after that we went to husky breeding where we did mini-tour in the forest with the huskies' sled. In both places we had an interesting explanation about the life of animals from the musher and the farmer. Alex, the tour guide, is amazing! He explained us about every experiences, especially at the Santa Claus Village and also he talked about life style of finnish. I suggest this tour with Alex, because he's a really lovely and polite guy!!!

The scenery was beautiful and Santa was great. Wish I would have gone at night rather than during the day because it is all lit up at night. Tour guide was great-helped us find a reindeer hide to purchase which was cheaper there than at our hotel... The reindeer sled ride was great.

Beautiful experience, Mattia was very kind and very good at explaining everything, very helpful and professional. Advice for anyone unfamiliar with the area, so you can be guided by someone competent. The husky safari is also beautiful, an experience to repeat.

First time taking a baby to Santa's. They chose the busiest period in January. Stayed in Finland for 3 days, of which 1 was a trip to the village of Santa and Santa Park. Remembering their positive experience visiting Disneyland with a VIP discussion service, booked a similar service from their travel agent. And I want to share with all of you my experiences and emotions. Alexander met us at the airport. Unfortunately our luggage didn't arrive (stayed in Helsinki). And in it is a letter from a child for Santa (which Santa must show the child), a gift to a child by Santa, a costume of a gnome in which the son wanted to please Santa, apart from everything very necessary for everyday life, etc. Luggage in the system was found and promised to bring the next morning to the hotel. Our luggage arrival time was 30 to 40 minutes later than our scheduled appointment with Santa. I won't write down my upset feelings about it, and it's so clear that we were taking the baby for one day, with the flights inconveniently docked and everything down. But!!!! Alexander worked a miracle, he personally went the next morning and picked up our luggage, brought it promptly to the hotel, rescheduled the meeting with Santa for later - and we spent the day like a fairy tale. Alexei, a very kind, sympathetic person, was our guide all day. On the way from the hotel to the village, there was a very informative story about life in Finland, its subtleties, nature. Even a child was impressed by what he heard about the Finnish reindeer. In the reviews, everyone recommends setting aside a few days to get to know Santa and visit Santa Park. I'll tell you what, don't listen! If you order VIP service from Nordic Adventures (Rovaniemi), as we will spend no more than 5-6 hours on these two places. We've gone around everything we can in that time. No one expected a minute. We had lunch in no hurry. Didn't miss anything and got an incredible experience! Moreover, thanks to Alexei, they found their loss (in Santa Park the child forgot the toy, had to return from the village). In general we left the hotel at 10:20 and returned to it at 16:25 with all possible certificates, souvenirs, photos, etc. If you cherish your time, if you want a child to believe or strengthen their faith in Santa, I recommend the services of Alexander and Alexei.
