We went to this with out then 16 year old daughter , we wanted to do this before she was 18. Although we were apprehensive of her being to old we actually enjoyed this so much. It feels so magical the village is great lovely food and stalls . The husky ride was the highlight. I would recommend this to anyone , adults ,teens kids great trip great fun. Thought it was an amazing experience, girlfriend loved it, Rovaniemi is a beautiful place, amazing food especially the Reindeer. Only slight negative was that I thought sled rides would be for longer.

For what you pay it’s not totally worth it. You get picked up early and then kind of dumped at the Santa Claus Village until your slot for the activities is ready - a time which you’re not notified or as it’s not written anywhere on the ticket or itinerary. Both the reindeer ride and husky sled are really short so you don’t fully feel like you’ve had the whole experience. You are definitely paying for the novelty and not the actual activities. Recommend using other companies that can extend the activities out and not just leave you at the Santa Claus Village for hours. It’s still a fun day - I just think there are better ways and companies to use.

Being in the Santa Claus Village we participated for a ride with beautiful reindeers. It was a wonderful experience. You can chose how long can be this tide when you buy the ticket. I recommend this ride because you will have great memories when you return home. Rudolf I love you!!!

Loved the mix of activities. Our guide was amazing and we had a wonderful time. The Reindeer and sled dogs were a highlight.

Totally unnecessary to take this trip. You can just take an uber and go to the place. The reindeer and Husky safari is ok for little kids. It's extremely short. The operator was not very nice - wanted to pick us up 30 minutes before our booked time- and when we said we were not ready they left us and asked us to come directly to the village- however when we reached there they were not there yet and came 30 minutes late. I do not recommend this operator

The queue for santa was ridiculous but I can highly recommend the tour operator and guide! The reindeer and husky sleigh rides were absolutely fantastic!

We booked this package as we wanted to include the husky and reindeer experiences on the day we brought our kids to Santa’s Village. From collection to drop off, our guide looked after us very well and each of the experiences was excellent. We were lucky to have snowy weather. Everything combined, I’m sure we will look back on the day as one of the most memorable we had as a family.

Very interesting programme and we had a good driver who brought us to the Santa Village and we had a good time. Only setback is that there is only one husky sledge and the rest of us were waiting and freezing for our turn in the cold. It took around half an hour before our turn and we were already freezing in the cold. Nevertheless, we have enjoyed ourselves.

DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. We paid €750 for the tour and it was a robbery, please go with someone else. We booked a tour for the santa village, reindeer experience and husky safari. At 2am of the morning we were due to leave, I received an email to tell us that the husky experience was cancelled. We later found out that the husky safari doesnt even open of a Sunday, the day we booked the tour for months in advance, they have always been closed on sundays so we were confused why the company would sell tickets to something they must know is closed, the other familes on the tour were also very upset with this as this was one of the main reasons we all booked in the first place. To start the day, the bus was late and we had to call a few different number to find out what was going on as no one told us they were running late. When we arrived, it turns out the enternace to the park was free, so the only thing that was a paid experience was the reindeers, which you could pay at the door for €100 for the family. Apart from that, the only other cost would have been a 10 minute taxi from our hotel. Overall, it should have cost us €160 max for everything and somehow they charged us €750! When we called them, we had a really poor responce, we explained that we must be on the wrong tour as the plan on ours was a guided tour with 3 stops that lasted all day, not a drop off for 3 hours, the man was really rude on the phone, his only response was "if you're not happy you can go home" while we are already there with our 2 children. We tried to ask if we could do the remainder of the hour tomorrow as the husky experience is open and we're told we have to email as the person on the phone couldn't help. The organization and bad communication was terrible but honestly, we feel like we were conned on this tour and I have sincd seen other reviews that are similar (stupidly, I didnt check reviews before hand). not worth the price. Would highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

This tour is a complete rip off. The write up said a Husky and reindeer ride. No mention if it is too hot these rides can not take place. When we got to the Husky enclosure they would not accept Viators credit card. It had been banned due to bad advertising. We had to pay another 60 Euros to get in. Our guide whose English was very poor rang the agent and we were promised a full refund. Viator have only refunded $80 Australian dollars which doesn’t cover the extra 60 Euros. They have said it is the end of the matter. The tour was over $700 Australian dollars for the two of us plus the extra 60 Euros. I write to Viators most days but I am sure they have blocked my emails. It was a gift that I requested from our 2 children for my 70th birthday and it just leaves me with a terrible memory. Viators also promised the other young couple on the tour a full refund but they won’t have received it either. I would never book with VIATOR again. Consumers beware.

This tour is the biggest rip off of all times. Features were Husky and reindeers rides. Neither happened as was too hot for the animals but doesn’t state that anywhere. Had to pay an extra 30 Euros each to get into the Husky park as they had blocked Viators credit card. The agent in Helsinki guaranteed a full refund but we have only got back $80 Australian which doesn’t even cover the extra. They guaranteed an English speaking guide. He was nice but his English was very poor. Just catch the bus there and pay for what is available. Works out so much cheaper. I am continually emailing Viator now but they just ignore us. Ending up costing about $760 Australian dollars for nothing. It was a 70th birthday gift from my children and they have given me bad memories. I will never use Viator again and warn others about them. I would even now accept half the cost as a refund but they say it is the end of the matter. Just not acceptable

The positives point was our guide..he was on time and friendly. And his English was very good.!! The cost of the trip..wasn't value for money..we got a 4 minute ride..on the Reindeer and husky rides. And 15 minutes in the husky pen. Then a lift back..wouldn't recommend this. As you can get a taxi both ways..and pay for those tickets directly from the park for a lot less!!

It's only 10 mins from Rovuniemi so easy to plan yourself by taxi.Its a hugely expensive trip that you can do cheaper yourself.the reindeer ride is pleasant,the husky ride short but great. The major dreadful bit is meeting Santa . My grandchildren though they were going to Lapland to meet the real Santa.Instead they queued for an hour to have no conversation at all,just have a photo taken the cost 40 euros to buy.wgst a ripoff,and now they don't believe any more .Very sad and very greedy Don't bother with this part so don't bother with the trip,do it yourself.

Great excursion! Driver was friendly and accommodating. At each spot you’ll get to visit with the animals . You’ll feed the reindeer & go for a short sleigh ride; same with huskies - take a quick sleigh ride, then visit pet the dogs. Then the farm guides give a short talk on the reindeer / huskies while you enjoy a hot juice and snacks. Santa’s village is a quick guided tour and then free time to explore at your leisure. Visit Santa, send a post card, grab lunch ( reservations strongly recommended), and grab some souvenirs. Overall a great experience .

I had such a great time. The sleigh rides with the reindeer and the huskies were so much fun. Santa village is magical. Wish I had more time to walk around and shop in the Village.

Reut was really kind and helpful throughout the tour, making it a pleasant experience for us. She planned the trip really well and made sure we were in queue in time for both rides!

Just the Santa village. Husky ride is ok but could have just the ride to have more hours & no more tour with the husky farm too much time wasted. Reindeer sledge is such a joke. I had that experience in Alta, Norway that was far best experience and real snow. Real not not like the pulled by the person😅🤣

We really enjoyed our tour, thanks to our wonderful guide Reut! She is so kind and took care of us from start to finish of the tour. She also took a lot of nice photos and made sure we have memories to keep from the visits to the huskies and the reindeer ride. All in all, this tour was amazing largely because of our guide Reut!

It was great experience from start to finish! The kids really enjoyed the husky and reindeer rides and meeting Santa was the hghlight.

Absolutely over the moon. That a great day out. Alex local guide is the best. Picked me up ( from hotel) and dropped me off . He did loads of pics and videos and fullfilled my day. He has got a great knowledge and provide you with all the information. Highly recommended!!!!

Turist trap at the next level … out of the 4 scheduled hours, a total of 1 minute in the dog sleigh and 1 minute in the reindeer sleigh … some explanations about the farm, one cup of tea, not two … luckily enough, kids are happy with the snow around

Reindeer and husky sleigh rides were nice though too short . They can do better by doing two laps instead of one

I appreciated the driver's punctuality and friendly demeanor. However, I can't fully recommend the reindeer and husky rides. They weren't as expected – not in the Santa Claus village, and much of the time felt like a photo session. The Santa Claus village experience was lacklustre , mainly assisting with transportation and pre-booked queues. Overall, it fell short of expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it within this range of charges.

This excursion fulfilled all of our ambitions for the day, the huskies were amazing, a great raindeer ride and superb trip to see Santa. We were well looked after throughout the day picked up and dropped back to our accommodation. 10/10

My cousin and I had a great time on this tour, especially with our guide, Alex, who gave us a lot of info about rovaniemi and our activities. It was nice being able to do the reindeer and husky sledding rides in one day, and I felt like we got to spend the right amount of time enjoying Santa’s village. Highly recommend!

This combo safari was definitely worth the money. Our guide, Angelo, was amazing, he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. He waited with us to send postcards and meet santa and then gave some extra time to walk around Santa Claus Village before heading back. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great Finnish hospitality at all sites. We had an Italian guide who was highly attentive and stayed with the group for most of the time. A must do excursion

Alex is very good in what he does. It was the best experience for a day. He is very friendly, supportive and good knowledge of surroundings. He picked us up from our stay. We went to reindeer farm first. We saw and learnt about them. Fed and pet them. Then we took a ride. It was fun. We were served with hot berry juice. Then we went to husky park. We had some time inbetween so he took us to some nice city view location from top. It was beautiful. In husky park, we played with husky. We learned about different types of them. We fed tgem in husky hugging place. And we took a ride. That was an amazing ride with beautiful jungle route view. Then we went to santa clause village. He explained us very well about each places in there. We met with santa, we visted the oldest salmon place. We sent out the postcards. We visited arctic crossing. He was very helpful in everything. We got reindeer ride and arctic circle crossing certificate as well 😄 Highly recommend him. You definitely will have fun.

I recently took the Santa Claus Village Combo Safari tour with Aleks and it was an incredible experience! The tour started with a visit to the Santa Claus Village, which was like stepping into a winter wonderland. The atmosphere was filled with holiday spirit, and I got to meet Santa Claus himself and send postcard from his post office! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and he made sure that everyone was safe and comfortable throughout the tour. Aleks shared interesting information about the animals, the environment, and the local culture.

The operator left us hanging without any explanation or prior notice of cancellation or any problem whatsoever. We have been waiting for you for 45 minutes and you are not answering the provided phone number. We demand a refund of the money.

Perfect for children 7 years old and under. Because those who are already 8 years old understand immediately that Santa Claus does not exist because the village has 2 main little houses where there are 2 different Santa Clauses.

Clearly we are not 5 years old, in fact, we are far from that age, but it was as if we were children; we had so much fun and laughed, even though it was -15°C outside, even though there were so many people, even though with thermal underwear I felt like the Michelin Man but it was super useful with the cold that was there, even though it is a place of so much consumerism, the truth is that there were people from every corner of the world, and everyone was smiling and happy, because feeling like a kid again deep in your soul is… really something! Long live Santa Claus 🎅🏻 and the winter holidays, which bring us the music of Bublé and George Michael, mulled wine, and the Christmas Blues that every now and then envelops us and reminds us of those we have lost but whom we keep in our ❤️ forever!

The guide was very friendly and helpful. He knew exactly where and when we had to be somewhere to avoid standing in a long line because it was really crowded in the Santa park. He listened to our needs and responded to them.

Absolutely fantastic, with plenty of free time and good time. So you get so many nice moments here. Great shopping opportunities after meeting the newbie, or just generally a lot to see for those who want it. Superb with sliding with both dogs and reindeer. We were able to feed the reindeer and hear a lot of interesting information about both the dogs and reindeer while drinking and good heat. Fight cozy for both couples and family.

Le temps passer avec les huskys était trop court et le temps libre trop long, nous aurions voulu retourner voir les chiens pendant notre temps libre mais l’accès était payant.

X famiglie con bambini.. incontri babbo natale (eh ok..) subito dopo slitta con le renne durata 5 minuti (ma perché le renne sono lente) .. poi aspetti 4 ore per 2 minuti cronometrati di slitta con gli husky... per 200€ a persona.. ANCHE NO.

Netter Guide, gute Betreuung und einwandfreie Organisation mit Abholung direkt beim Hotel. Alles in allem mehr ein Einblick für Kurzentschlossene, als eine Safari. Immerhin war dies in der Hochsaison eine etwas überteuerte Skip-the-Line Möglichkeit, eine Runde Husky- und eine Runde Rentierschlittenfahrt im Santa-Claus-Village zu erhalten, ohne lange Anstehzeiten inkl. danach noch mehr als genügend Aufenthaltszeit im rege besuchten Erlebnispark. Je nach Zeit und Erwartungen somit bedingt zu empfehlen.

Honestly too expensive for what it is. The only good thing is that they pick you up from your hotel and take you by car to Santa Village... from there the guide tells you a couple of curiosities and already, the reindeer ride is in the park itself, which costs 25€ and you have to queue anyway, we were so long there that we could not go to the huskies farm to know the story and that we were told so we lost the tour of the huskies, we could only go on the sleigh with them which the price is like 35€, we were not invited to the hot drink so a scam... because paying 200€ when it doesn't really cost even 100€... so as advice you see on your own... the bus to Santa Village is 4€. The only good thing was the guide Reut, it was a love, very friendly and always attentive, thank you❤️

L'attrazione in sé del villaggio di babbo natale è stata davvero ottima La guida ci ha spiegato è raccontato molti aneddoti ed è stato molto gentile. È un pacchetto completo con giro in slitta da husky e renne e ci siamo divertite moltissimo. È un tuor che consiglio a tutti grandi e piccini.

Here you get a 3 minute sleigh ride with huskies and 6 minutes with the reindeer. The price is too high for that. The sleigh rides are not in the open air but in a fenced area. Guide Angelo was very nice and actually did everything in his power to make the tour as pleasant as possible.
