Santa's Reindeer & Husky Safari + Aurora Bbq In Rovaniemi

The company initially seemed friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, their professionalism did not match the first impression. Despite having agreed on a specific date and time for the tour, they failed to honour the arrangement. We travelled all the way to Rovaniemi specifically for this experience, so the lack of reliability and respect for our time was particularly frustrating. Friendly communication is not enough when basic commitments are not kept. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services.

The end of the season the weather is getting warmer and there is less snow for the dogs and dear to run on. The dog sledding was cool but the deer were very old and do not run at all. The break in the afternoon is awkward if you have your luggage. We didn’t see any northern lights

Alejandro was an amazing guide! We loved seeing the Northern Lights while enjoying a hotdog barbecue, and the reindeer and dog sleigh activities were so much fun, especially with hot tea and cookies! 🌠🌭🦌

This tour was a lot of fun. Our guide, Jade, was super upbeat and energetic. Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights, she still showed us a good time with roasting marshmallows and sausages. The husky and reindeer rides were both amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

It was amazing we really enjoyed deer and husky after lady left us Santa Village and evening we been lake with the grill, unfortunately we didn't see Northern Light but still we are happy

Ale was our guide and he was amazing and kept us up to date. This was a perfect trip we went out in the morning and had a husky ride and reindeer ride then he messaged us for pick up in the evening for the aurora hunt unfortunately we didn’t see any but still had a good evening by the fire eating sausages and marshmallows.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Lapland! The reindeer sleigh ride was serene and magical — slowly gliding through the snow-covered forest was like something out of a fairy tale. The reindeer were calm, well cared for, and the handlers shared interesting facts about them. The husky safari brought a whole different level of excitement. The dogs were full of energy and clearly loved to run. Riding through the snowy trails with them was exhilarating and beautiful. We also got to spend some time with the huskies afterward, which was a lovely touch. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel safe and well-organized. Warm drinks and cookies by the fire added a cozy end to a truly memorable adventure. Highly recommend for animal lovers and anyone wanting a real taste of Lapland’s winter magic!

An amazing moment out of the time. Rafi our guide led us to quiet and wild place where we had multiple hours of northen lights with unforgetable memories. We cannot think about anything else for days now 🤩.

Paul was absolutely fantastic! I wish I knew he did so many other tours, I would have booked him solid for the trip. Him and the team answered my numerous texts about my 5 yr old and tips and tricks for taking on everything in Finland. They are truly so kind. It was a wonderful tour and Paul made sure no stone was left unturned. He even brought stores for us to roast while waiting for the northern lights and offered to make my son as comfy as possible with the jet lag and being a 5 yr old at 11pm. He was so kind and even helped take photos while I was holding my sleeping toddler! The santa part of the trip was magical as well and he helped keep everything running smooth while giving us time to enjoy the village.

Everything was perfect. Our tourguide Tirthankar Paul was lovely. He messaged us a day in advance to confirm the booking and pick-up. We were even able to switch up the pick-up location the night before! Paul picked us up, gave us some complementary sweets to start the day and went with us through the itinerary of the day. He drove us to the huskyfarm and provided us with the necessary information before we we're handen over towards the hostess of the huskyfarm. Before and during the Huskyride, Paul happilly offered to take pictures for us and even surprised us with video footage during both the husky and the reinddeerride. He also didn't mind a bit of a chat and answered our questions as I always like to chat up with a guide. After the Huskyride, Paul drove us to The Santa Clause village and toured us around the village towards the reindeerguide, here he also took care of everything getting us entrance tickets and providing us with all the info needed. After the ride, we went to Santa's pet (again everything taken care of by Paul) and in the afternoon we separated ways. Paul told us, he's be picking us up later that night between 7.30/8.00 p.m. for the aurora Hunt, but he would text us around 5 p.m. which he did. At 8 p.m. he picked us up at our airBnB and off we were for the aurora Hunt. Paul knew several locations and had some tips as to where the higher possibilities of seeing the northern lights would be. Unfortunately, as much as Paul tried we were not Lucky to see the northern lights that night. But I have to give it to Paul, he really tried! And gave us also some beautiful photogenic places to take pictures, even without the nortern lights. He took as to a beautiful spot in the woods, where he made a fire in a fireplace to keep us warm at night. And this experience alone was absolutely lovely. We had a great time. The next day, chances of the northern lights were much higher and we revisted these places with succes!! As we got to see an AMAZING dancing show of the auroras. Thanks to Paul for showing us these locations. Also, Paul did send us a message the next day, that he was seeing the auroras, so that was also an extra lovely thing for him to do!

David was a wonderful guide, we had a great time on our trip. He went out of his way to make our experience extra special. He brought hot tea, cookies and marshmallows to roast in the Kota while waiting for Auroras. Epic day.

This whole package was an excellent deal! All in one with raindeer farm, husky riding and northern lights hunting. Paul goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. We really enjoyed that trip and Paul is very knowledgeable about Finnland and Rovaniemi. He also takes good quality photos of you enjoying the activities. A pro tip: before booking a trip - make sure that aurora forecast is good and remember that sleds, if there is a fresh snowfall - the sleigh will go slow. This was our last day in Finnland and my family had a good time, even though we didn't see the aurora. The finnish winter is amazing ❤️

it was all amazing. Paul a very sweet and friendly person accompanied us in this experience. the sled with the huskies was amazing, with the reindeer too touristy to take money away from families. the part of the aurora even if not very visible it was all beautiful.

Rafi is very helpful and informative tour guide. He shared a lot of useful information regarding the touristic attractions in Rovaniemi and kept us updated the whole time. We were able to see the aurora lights in a cloudy weather only because he notified us. We were all at the tent sitting beside the campfire at that time.

The most beautiful and dynamic tour we have attended, we had a great time in the company of our guide "Rafi", a very friendly person who accompanies you on the tour giving explanations of the local culture and customs. Rafi is not only friendly but also a person with whom the tour is better enjoyed. If you want to record your experience with photos and videos, bring gloves that allow the use of touch devices. Pro: 1. you can get a taste of everything. 2. The guide was nice 3. A very completed experience. Cons: The huskies experience was very disappointing, the dogs were sick, dirty and they treat the dogs with no respect… they just care about making money…

The Huskies and reindeer rides were so fun. They are amazing experience that I would go again if chances allow. The zoo was great too. The only thing was that due to the short day light, we couldn't really see much animals in zoo. But it's not anyone's fault, just part of nature. Lastly we want to shout out to our guide, Lea. She was an excellent tour guide. Friendly, politely, knowledge and full of tips that helped us get through the queues quicker and smoother.

Such a great day out, our guide made sure we got to all activities on time and skipped the big lines at Santa’s village. We went to two beautiful spots to see the northern lights at night which were fantastic!

Santa's Reindeer & Husky Safari + Santa's Pets + Aurora The tour guide was amazing, he took pictures and videos of us and it was just us 4 so very personal, we where lucky but they only ever take 8 so if your looking for something more personal, we got to go to a village where the Husky where, got to learn how they train, eat and the Husky ride it lasted about 5 minutes which is short but for us it was enough, back to Santa Village and go reindeers which again lasted about 8 minutes, got to go to pet Santa pets which was okay but would not pay as not many, slides the kids enjoyed more, the night auoroa we didn't get to see the northen lights but he took us to a beautiful forest with running river and was most beautiful thing have seen.

Lea was an excellent tour guide, however overall, doesn’t worth the price. For aurora hunt specifically, there was heavy snow the whole day, but we only had the chance to proceed or go home. Suggest to try other packages with guaranteed refunds. Good to have the transport, and the superb guide, but a 3min husky ride and a 10min reindeer ride, could find other cheaper alternatives with similar experiences.

A great one day tour. We were pick up in our hotel. We had a great time in the morning with the reindeer ride.husky ride and santas pet. Our guide Rafi take a line for us so we can make some picture around the area. On the evening trip, Rafi pick up again in our hotel for Aurora hunt. He bring us on a 2 perfect location to watch for aurora. But unfortunately we havent see because of the cloudy weather. But still we enjoy the night! As a group of six person it was so nice. Rafi take us in the middle of a forest to have a walk. And take us a pictures. He was so nice and friendly. Highly Recommended as a Guide👍

The guide, Lea was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Her driving skills was also good and we felt safe . She helped us to take many photos and the quality was so good. Highly recommended if you want take a tour

The overall activities were well planned and we enjoyed every single one of them. But moreover, the experience was enhanced due to our guide-Rafi's commendable service. He was absolutely interactive, on time, patient with all our requests and made the whole experience worthwhile and smooth. We also witnessed the northern lights thanks to his guidance on taking us to the best of the place to witness the magical moment. We would highly recommend Rafi and the tour operator Northern Future for their services provided.

The experience was amazing, Paul was so nice and he made sure we had a good time, he really took care of us, picking us up at our location and taking the best pictures.

Our guide Rafi was extremely helpful and informative, constantly initiating to take amazing photos for us and explaining the site’s history and Aurora. Although the weather was not the best for Aurora, he made our money worth but showing us the best spots to take photos with the scenic icy river. Having the tour with him made it a worry-free travel as he contacts us early regarding transport details and is flexible with picking us up from either our apartment or city centre.

We were then able to warm up by the fire and have a drink of glogi whilst we learned about their lives on the farm. Next up we went to the Santa Claus Village. We went to meet Santa's pets. Inside this area there are some tents with fire pits where you can cook sausages and marshmallows (bought at a very reasonable price from the shop). We then had the reindeer sleigh ride at the village. Rafi showed us where everything was and we had the option to stay at the village until the evening part of the tour. The aurora hunt began just before 8pm. We went to 2 idyllic spots - one next to a frozen lake and one in the middle of a forest with a suspension bridge crossing the river. The scenery was beautiful. We didn't see the lights but the glow from the sun at night was magic. A well thought out tour with a fab guide. I recommend.

Paul was a fantastic guide. Punctual for pick ups and very friendly and helpful. No luck with the Aurora but had good company for fun anyway. Husky ride, Reindeer ride and feeding were as expected so a good experience. Went with two kids (9&5) who loved it.

A very good day trip. It is quite expensive but you do get to cover a lot of activities for the day. We were picked up at our door and dropped back which made it very accessible with young kids. Rafi our guide was excellent and very attentive. He also took our place in queues at some activities so we could enjoy the area even better. On the evening trip Rafi picked the perfect locations for a true Finnish experience and we got to see the northern lights! We got some great pictures while enjoying some of Rafi's homemade hot berry tea.

Paul was a great guide and loved seeing the animals. Was disappointed that a few days before they removed the BBQ portion. And we were not lucky enough to see the northern lights. Was terrible weather for it especially with the amount of ice but that’s nature.
