We constantly monitor northern lights situation by using scientific data charts and local knowledge. We will take you hundreds of kilometers in search of a clear sky. We will also capture professional photos under northern lights and deliver them to you after the trip. Trip duration 5-8hrs, depending on the situation. Please leave a message if you have any further inquiries or requests. **Please note that somedays northern lights activity is big and somedays it is not so big. We will cancel/reschedule (if possible) the trips if the is absolutely no chance to see northern lights. If there is no aurora visible in the camera, you will receive a full refund.**

This was honestly the best experience and I would 100% recommend it without hesitation. Our guide really made the difference. He adapted the day and route so we could actually see the aurora, drove as many kilometers as needed (we went to Sweden) , and made stops depending on what we wanted as passengers. Nothing felt fixed or rushed. He also knew so much about the aurora phenomenon and explained everything clearly while we were waiting and watching, which made the experience even more special. We did the Aurora Hunting tour with Shihab in March 2025 and it was everything that we would have hoped for. We had been on a different tour with a different company the previous night and were a little disappointed with the effort of the guide, however the tour with Shihab could not have been better. He was knowledgable, committed and passionate and answered all of our questions. He was really friendly and the small group size made the experience a lot more enjoyable. We saw incredible auroras early on into the trip, however Shihab continued to hunt for more lights once we moved on and we ended up driving into Sweden, and stopping twice more to watch the lights. He was very good at identifying when they were developing, and a few times we got out to quite faint activity, only for the sky to light up a few moments later. The addition of high quality professional photos was also a big plus, and we received the photos about 8 hours after arriving back. I couldn’t have asked for any more out of this tour, it was the perfect northern lights experience and great value for money.

What an amazing night! Team leader ALEX possesses extensive professional knowledge and is cheerful and talkative. He took us from Finland to Sweden in pursuit of the Northern Lights. He worked hard to find places where we could see the auroras. Even though the projections first didn't look that good, the Into North team didn't give up and we saw one of the most beautiful auroras we could've imagined. It's the perfect company for people who are seeking an unforgettable experience with likable and passionate guides. Alex took as many pictures of us as we wanted which were delivered the next day. Being a small group of only 8 people allowed to make the tour individual and tailor-made. Would definetly book again.

I had one of the best visuals of Aurora Borealis on my tour with Alexandros and Into North. The guiding of was really professional (in addition to the fun element). He was well on top of the predictions and planned such that we could stop at places where we expected the lights to show up. It was truely a good hunt in that sense! I am very glad that I chose to go with Into North and surely it seems like a guaranteed sighting
We booked the northern lights chase with the company in early december and team was responsive and coordinated very well with us. The day we booked was 25th of december the sky was too cloudy so our guide drove all the way from Rovenami to Sweden 200 km one way He was too considerate and dedicated to witness the phenomena for us He answered all our questions and also gave depth information about Northern lights and kind enough to take best photos for all travellers.Overall it was a great pleasure and wonderful experience to book our journey with intoNorth Would highly recommend it.

Shihab was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, passionate about auroras, and very accommodating. We drove for close to 11 hours to find excellent lights on a night with very difficult conditions. It's always nice to support a small business like this one especially when it's run so well.
This tour was AMAZING! Our guide is also the owner of the company, and makes it his personal mission to ensure each group sees the aurora. He will drive wherever needed to get a clear sky for the best viewing ( we went about 1.5 hrs out of the city). He also took tons of photos of the sky, as well as individual photos of each person/ couple with his professional camera and shared them after the tour (you can see the difference in photos below ) . This is a small group tour in a nice van, so there is a lot of personal attention. The van stays heated even when parked - so you can go in and get warmed up if needed. Remember you’ll be out in nature with no rest rooms for many hours . This is the tour you want to take!

What an incredible night! We started by seeing some rather faint northern lights, barely visible to the naked eye… We were a bit disappointed, but at least we had seen them. Then, on the way back, around 2 a.m., after being out for 7 hours already, we noticed through the car window that the aurora seemed to be getting stronger and stronger. Our guide didn’t hesitate—he turned around to find an open spot, and there… we were treated to an unbelievable show. The northern lights were literally dancing above our heads. It’s the most beautiful spectacle I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience!
Incredible experience! It was always going to be challenging with the weather (as was quite cloudy) but Shihab knew the exact spots to take us to find clear sky. He was incredibly patient and determined to give us the best experience possible. As he is a professional photographer, the pictures he takes (and gives you for free) are stunning. Fantastic experience. We organized at the last minute, but there was still room probably for the low season period. Alex, our guide, took us under the house and we traveled about 3.5/4 hours by car and then stopped several times to admire the northern lights. Unfortunately, it was not an explosion of lights as we usually imagine, but always thanks to Alex we were able to understand more about the aurora and especially when it manifests itself and how. He is a fantastic person, he helped us a lot and took multiple photos. A super person! We hope to repeat the experience as soon as possible.
We went with my friends to search for the lights with Shihab and we had amazing and such a fun night with beautiful lights, I would love to experience that again!! He is fun and passionate guide and we got our pictures and lots of new information
Amazing experience. On the day we went to this excursion, the northern lights forecast was very low. They informed us the probability of seeing aurora and was very honest about it. Since it was our last day, we decided to give it a go. The guide from Into North drove us into Sweden in search of clear sky and in the end we got rewarded by a beautiful show. I highly recommend this trip if you really want to see northern lights.
I would 100% recommend going on this tour if you want to see the northern lights while staying in Rovaniemi! Shihab was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about when and how to spot the lights. We appreciated his honesty about the fleeting possibility of seeing the lights based on the forecast on the night that we wanted to go. However, with his willingness to drive as far as we needed to go to find the best view of the lights, and with a bit of luck, we managed to see them! The added bonus was that Shihab is also a professional photographer and brought props to help us get the most magical photos! Thank you Shihab!
Great experience! Shihab was very commited to show us the northern lights, drove us even to Sweden while staying in contact wirh other guides. When we found the northern lights he took the time to make great pictures of the lights and us, even driving to another spot. Would fully recommend!
Shihab was a really nice guide and even though it was a cloudy night he took us to Sweden so we could see some northern lights - he also had a lot of knowledge. It was also -20° that night so he made sure to heat up the car while we waited for a wave of lights to come. Even though the northern lights weren't that strong that night the photos he took turned out great and it was a memorable night!
Shihab was amazing and genuinely just seemed like a really lovely person. He really went above and beyond in explaining everything and in the planning- even taking us TO SWEDEN to get us the best experience. Couldn't recommend more.
It was so cloudy in Rovaniemi that we were afraid we wouldn’t see the Northern Lights, but after a 3h drive and 1h waiting, we got the see the beautiful lights! Luckily Shihab knows what he is doing and he is very patient. Yes, he cancelled our initial booking, but that was because it was cloudy and he rescheduled it to an (obviously) better night: so trust Shihab when he cancels the trip. He’s not doing that for its pleasure, but because he doesn’t want you to pay and hope for something you will not see. Other tours wouldn’t cancel and you will need to pay even without seeing the lights.
Even though it was cloudy in Rovaniemi, Shihab did his research, was in contact with other guides, to find us a good spot. We drove for over 3 hours, but it was all worth it! Would recommend Shihab to others in Rovaniemi who is looking for a Northern Lights hunt/chase.
We were with a group of 9 people and wanted to do an unlimited mileage northern light chase. It was very difficult to find a tour operator which could fit us all in one group, because most had a maximum capacity of 8 persons. However, when I texted Shihab, with my special request, he needed a day to come back to my request and a day later he had arranged an additional car to fit the extra people in, without the group being too big. So the experience was still very private. Shihab trusted me with paying after the tour, in case the tour would not take place, due to bad weather conditions or lack of activity. Shihab is a professional photographer and takes the time to make beautiful pictures. He is very knowledgeable regarding chasing the northern lights and was constantly busy with getting intel on how to increase the chances to witness the aurora. He also explained the science behind the northern lights. Shihab provided us with a timely warning regarding the expected cold weather, so we could prepare properly. I would definitely recommend Shihab to everyone who stays in Rovaniemi and wants to have the biggest chance to witness the northern lights. We drove about 3 hours to Sweden and it was more than worth it!
Was very difficult night to see any lights. But master Shihab did his research and found place a bit over 2 hours of driving from Rovaniemi. We drove there and boom.... Beautiful nortern lights. This guy knows what he is doing!🤝
This single person operating tour company cancelled our tour 1.5 days before the experience. His excuse was “the weather forecast is cloudy”. The weather, especially clouds, keep changing there’s absolutely no way of guaranteeing 1.5 days in advance. And now, it says the clouds are clearing for tomorrow night - but sadly he cancelled it. Furthermore, we were unable to find a replacement tour as everything is booked already for tomorrow. Think twice before booking with this person, he easily cancels on you. Very disappointed.
Shihab clearly made our trip to Rovaniemi ! The weather conditions were very bad on that day, but he managed to find a clear sky for us to see northern lights ! Can't wait to see the photos he took for us to come out !
First of all, I would like to thank our guide for his effort on the tour. Our guide searched for a clear sky all night. He constantly checked the status of the lights on the apps. We were able to see Northern lights. In addition, our guide took photos of the participants. He knows the area very well and does his job with passion.
Unforgettable experience with Sihab. He knew the places and the time to have a complete experience around the northern lights. He spared no effort when it came to finding the northern lights and we traveled the necessary kilometers to do so. We received the photographs promptly, although the experience was a marvel in itself that we will never forget/Experientza ahaztezina Shihab-ekin bizitakoa. Shihab is the best guide ever!!! The night we went on tour there was a really small chance to see the Aurora borealis but he drove all across Lapland to get us to the best spot and we managed to see some. If you want to have the best experience hunting the Aurora borealis, he's definitely the right guy to go on tour with!!
We took part in a Northern Lights tour in Rovaniemi where Mehbub was our guide. The tour was very nice, and we were lucky enough to see many Northern Lights. Mehbub made a dedicated effort to find good spots for us so we could take great photos. He also provided us with many beautiful photos. He also gave a lot of interesting information about the Northern Lights and reading the Northern Lights app. Overall, it was a very well organized and recommended tour.
The snowshoe hike with Mehbub was very successful. He has told a lot about nature and the surrounding area and was also able to answer in detail to inquiries. In the snow we could see traces of a snow bunny and a landing site of a large bird. The tour was pleasant and not too demanding. The group size was appropriate, so a relaxed atmosphere was possible. The area was very nice, and the subsequent barbecue tasted good. On the positive side, vegetarian or vegan sausages were also offered on request. An overall recommended tour in beautiful surroundings.
