Toni was our guide and did an amazing job of getting us to a lesser known spot on the edge of a lake. The Aurora was incredible! His pictures are out-of-this-world! So beautiful of the immense Aurora colors spread fully across the sky. We will cherish the pics of us with that in the background for years. He also had a great fire to keep us warm wonderful beverages and treats. We LOVED Toni.

Our tour guide, Jake, was very professional and knowledgeable, which made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. He carefully selected a good viewing spot and explained many interesting things about the northern lights and the local area. We were fortunate enough to see a beautiful aurora, which was truly unforgettable. The tour was well organized, comfortable, and felt very special. It was definitely worth choosing a private tour, and would highly recommend it.

We experienced the Northern Lights tour with Mirco and Annie and it was absolutely incredible. They were beyond professional and explained everything so clearly throughout the experience. Mirco, in particular, was fantastic—his passion and love for what he does truly shine through. We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Northern Lights tour. The organization was excellent from start to finish. They brought plenty of snacks for everyone, warm drinks to keep us cozy, and even firewood to make a campfire, which made the whole experience feel magical and comfortable. Our tour guides, Luca and Jessica, were incredibly kind, well-organized, and professional. They took amazing professional photos of us and gave everyone plenty of time to take as many pictures as we wanted. We never felt rushed, which we really appreciated. They made a warm fire for us and kept the bus heated the entire time, so anyone who felt cold could go inside and warm up whenever needed. That thoughtful detail made a big difference, especially in such cold weather. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily do it again anytime. Highly recommended!

A fantastic tour, we saw a spectacular Northern light

We had an amazing experience on this northern lights tour, thanks to our guide David. He was extremely professional and enthusiastic throughout the night, and he found an excellent spot with clear skies where we saw a truly spectacular aurora display. David also took great photos and videos for us, which made the experience even more memorable. Everything was well organised, and his passion really showed. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

Our guide Elisei made everything he could so we could appreciate the northern lights. He was very attentive and enthusiastic, which let us very excited. We head to Sweden in order to find a clear sky and, after about 3 hours, we saw a weak one, and even though we were very happy with this, he did not stop until we had a stronger sight. We took lots of pictures and had lots of fun. Thank you for the experience. Unforgettable

We had an unforgettable Northern Lights hunting experience with our guide, Samuli, and we are very grateful for it. He is friendly, caring, patient, and very knowledgeable about the Northern Lights. Samuli is also a professional photographer and, with great patience and skill, took beautiful photos of us. The hot drinks and cookies were a lovely extra. In short, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a true highlight of our visit to Rovaniemi. Highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing aurora hunt! Once in a lifetime experience ❤️ We were in a six people group so we opted for the private tour option, we got picked up from our hotel in Saariselka. Thomas was an amazing guide, and took us to the bests spots. He explained in detail and clarified all of our questions regarding auroras and their nature. We drove until we found the auroras The photos and timelapses Thomas took with his camera were breathtaking. 100% recommend the tour!

Our tour was average and not worth the price charged. It lasted about five hours in total. The aurora was only visible through the guide’s professional camera; it was not visible to the naked eye. There was no sparkling drink as previously informed, and no cold-weather clothing was provided. In the long-exposure photos, the sky does appear green, but when looking with the naked eye, it does not. In fact, the guide was constantly taking photos of the dark sky to check whether there was any aurora. The impression we had is that they do everything possible to obtain a photo showing the aurora, but do not focus on finding conditions with enough intensity for us to actually admire it with our own eyes.

The tour was absolutely incredible. Milka was extremely attentive, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire experience. Even with the extreme cold — I believe we reached around -35°C — she made a point of staying with us for a very long night, taking beautiful photos and constantly searching for the best spots to see the Northern Lights. On our way back, she noticed new aurora activity and suggested we stop again — and that moment turned out to be even more visible and absolutely breathtaking. Milka was amazing and truly made this experience unforgettable.

Our guide is so nice! We got an excellent experience by his patience and persevrance. When we started our chasing, the weather is snowy and windy. After about 3 hours north, the sky became clear. After 5 hours driving and about 400kms deep into the arctic circle, we reached a rural park and started to wait. At 1:30am we saw the dim aurora. At that time, the predicted best Kp would be 2am. But the aurora didn't show it at that time. When the time past to 3am, we were disappionted because it seems we would waste a night. But our guide told us to get down the vehicle with his excited words. And the aurora is there on the sky! So wonderful! At 3:40am we saw the second round aurora. We are rewarded with 16 hours driving and waiting.

We upgraded to a small group northern lights tour as the larger group one was cancelled due to cloudy weather. The smaller mini bus was able to drive us 3 hours north to chase the lights. Dennis was professional and knowledgable- explaining to us how he uses the data to find good locations to see the lights. We were disappointed! Dennis found us great places and the lights were fantastic- he never tired of us asking for him to take our photos! It was a long drive- but if you are serious in seeing the northern lights- you won’t mind! Thank you so much Dennis for such a memorable experience.

We were really looking forward to see the northern lights and to have the best pictures of this phenomenum. Since we wanted the dog Plouf (a golden retriever) to join us on the 'hunt', we decided to book a private tour. Just the two of us, Plouf and the guide/driver/photographer Eetu. It was absolutely sensational. We did not even have to drive too far because the lights were visible on half an hour drive from Rovaniemi, around 9 p.m. already. We got out of the car on some quiet and dark place and we started to make pictures in the snow. We took some ourselves, but Eetu took most of them. I am happy he did because his pictures turned out to be gorgeous. Plouf was posing like a diva, not disturbed at all by the cold, the snow or the green lights that were dancing behind her. Eetu took pictures of the nordic lights themselves and of us. Actually he took pictures of anything we asked and proposed sone nice views himself as well. Eetu took good care of us. He brought biscuits and warm drinks. He was friendly, passionate about his work, professional, interested, and we had very nice conversations in the comfortable minibus. We received the pictures a couple of days later, some of them edited (the most beautiful ones) and the others in their original form. These represent hundreds of wonderful souvenirs from a great night in Lapland. We are very happy that we chose Book Lapland for this great experience and are grateful that we had such a nice driver/guide/photohgrapher.

David was an amazing guide, very patient and clearly experienced. His driving was extremely prudent, and his photography skills were top-notch! This experience was incredible!

The tour was great. We were a little worried about cloud coverage and asked the operator if we should shift to the next day. They said that while there is no guarantee, they were positive we would see some. Despite that they still were super flexible and offered to move. We went and had a great time. Our tour guide was Askel. He was fantastic. He was super patient taking pictures and was out there in the freezing cold for hours once we had found a spot where the Aurora was popping up. The tour took 5 hours and was solely focused on the northern lights. We saw two flare ups and had just the best time. I can only highly recommend it. One strike off the bucket list.

I went on this tour with guide Aslak, and I think it was the right choice! It wasn't an easy night because of the clouds, but he drove us to a very nice site where we could enjoy the northern lights and take as many photos as we wanted. He also brought hot juice, cookies, and firewood to make the wait kinder. Recommended!

Our guide Eetu who took us on the Aurora Chase with photography is amazing! He did his homework and had a team of Aurora chasers providing information on the Aurora sighting, time and locations. Highly recommended! He took lovely photos of our family and also for individuals! Kept up warm with hot blueberry juice and gingerbread cookies. We captured the strong Aurora Borealis and definitely worth the price tag.

My group was only in Lapland for two more days and we knew that there was only one day where the skies were clear and we could potentially see the Aurora. We took a chance and went to Book Lapland to see if they could accommodate our group of 14 for an unlimited tour the same day and, sure enough, they accommodated us! We met Pham at the office and she was a pleasure to work with. She was so informative and so warm that we knew we came to the right place. We booked two private tours because there were 14 of us and they were so accommodating to our needs as we were also traveling with older people. Paul and Julia were so professional, friendly and knowledgeable, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. But best of all — we saw the Aurora! Paul was so experienced in finding the spots and taking photos. We will surely be utilizing Book Lapland again whenever we are in Lapland.
