The driver-guide Jade provided very friendly service this time. Her service was warm and enthusiastic throughout the tour. Even though the weather wasn't good that night, she still managed to find a great location with the Northern Lights for us to stop and take photos. ​I particularly appreciate that even though my hotel was only 200 meters away from the Arctic GM company, they still picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel entrance. They were nothing like another nearby company starting with the letter B—when I attended an activity organized by that B-company before, they told me before departure that due to company policy, my hotel was too close to them, so I had to walk to their office to wait. ​In short, Arctic GM is highly recommended! Their after-sales customer service is also worthy of praise, replying to messages very quickly and professionally. I was so happy to see the Northern Lights this time! We had an absolutely incredible experience with Arctic GM Northern Lights Chase on 12th Feb 2026. Just when we had almost given up hope of seeing the aurora, our guide Pamela’s dedication and passion made all the difference ... We crossed borders to Sweden from Finland and at around 2 am, we were finally rewarded with the most breathtaking display. Matteo is one of the most passionate guides I’ve ever met. He even drove all the way to the far northeast of Finland just to give us the best chance to see the Northern Lights. Thanks to his dedication, I got to see the Northern Lights for the first time in my life. Even though they were faint to the naked eye, it’s still an unforgettable memory for me.

The tour was extraordinary. The efforts the guide and the team put in to get us guaranteed viewing of the northern lights was truly remarkable. The guide Carmen was really enthusiastic and drove us for more than 2 hours north of Rovaniemi. It was one of the most memorable events of our life. Definitely recommended.

Severe snow forecast during our stay that the tour was cancelled twice. On the third & last night, it was a go but only to be told we had a 15% chance to see the aurora. We drove 300kms to Sweden to find a sliver of clear sky and we found her! Kudos to this tour operator for trying their very best to make our dreams come true!

We had the best time ever! I went to Rovaniemi with my sister and my min and at first we were a little bit skeptics about whether you would have seen the aurora but then we were extremely lucky! Our guide Alexis was very nice and friendly, he explained everything very clearly and we had a lot of fun together!

Review for Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage (December 2025) This experience did not meet my expectations. 1. Tour Guide(Lina)Experience – Our guide, Lina, primarily acted as a driver. There was little to no explanation about the Northern Lights, including the science behind them or the viewing conditions. I had expected a more informative, guided experience. 2. Advertising vs. Experience – The tour is described as offering “Unlimited Mileage,” but we were taken to a single location and remained there for the duration of the tour. There did not appear to be an effort to seek out clearer skies or improved visibility. At one point, we were invited to view the Northern Lights through the guide’s camera, which was not the experience I anticipated. 3. Customer Service – I reached out to the company following the tour and have not received a response. A follow-up would have been appreciated. 4. Value for Money – While weather conditions play a major role in seeing the Northern Lights, I expected a higher level of service given the price. Other tours in the area appear to actively relocate in search of better viewing conditions, which was not the case here. Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not align with the expectations set by the tour description.

Our guide Aneeq did everything in his power to get us to see the lights even though it was end of the season, he was amazing and explained what they had seen in their forecast earlier in the day, how the lights are formed, the best times to see them in the season and took amazing pictures of us with the lights

The second time was amazing — we saw beautiful auroras! Our guide, Gabriel, was excellent in both tours. Very passionate, explained how aurora monitoring works, and went the extra mile to find the best spot for us (thank you Gabriel!). Highly recommended!

Due to the clouds over Finland, we went to Sweden to view the lights. Aneeq has an excellent eye for spotting the lights while driving! He took some amazing photos of us as well. We are very pleased that we got him as our guide for the night.

We booked the Levi Northern Lights tour, and the weather conditions in Finland were very poor. We spent 9 hours on the road, even crossed the border, and finally got to see the Northern Lights on our last day. Our guide, Lachin, was phenomenal. He did everything he could to make sure we would see them. He chose an excellent viewing spot, and suddenly the Northern Lights were dancing above us. He repeatedly stood outside in the freezing cold to keep watch for us and made several stops whenever his app predicted activity. Everything was perfectly organized—simply outstanding. Thank you!

It was an okay trip - we caught Aurora going away from city, but the guide constantly kept taking pics and all the flash disrupted the experience.

Our first aurora hunt with Matteo was magic! He drove us to a very nice spot in Sweden, with plenty of room to move around, take pictures and most importantly the clearest view of the aurora, far from trees and clouds. The team was very helpful before the trip, giving tips, explanations and also helping organise a successful marriage proposal under the northern lights! Despite a technical issue on the way back to the hotel, our guide Matteo handled the situation in a remarkably professional and positive way, making his best to solve the situation and comfortably bring us back to our accommodations. We will never forget this night, and we really recommend this experience!

One word: fantastic! Of course, strong northern lights activity (which we had) makes a big difference, but the whole experience was excellent. We were picked up right on time, our guide Jamie explained everything clearly, and the bus was very comfortable. Having a picnic under the stars while watching the northern lights is something we’ll never forget.

We started at 6 PM on 15th March 2026 from Rovaniemi in an overcast sky, but Marie drove us deep in to Sweden and placed us at the right spot to see nature's amazing Show. Everything could not be more perfect. Driving abilities above excellent. Placement for viewing great. Perfect explanations. It was Icing on The Cake to complete out Finland tour. Remaining was done by Mother Nature to show us that IT IS SUPREME.

The Northern Lights tour was absolutely beautiful and a great experience. In the van they served Finnish blueberry juice, which I had never tried before – it was so delicious that I immediately bought some afterwards. Our guide really made an effort to find the Northern Lights and to make sure we could see them, and we were lucky enough to experience them. It was truly magical. The photos will definitely be beautiful. You could take as many pictures as you wanted, which was great because everyone had plenty of time to capture the moment. I would highly recommend this tour!
