We enjoyed our tour - our guide was patient and clear in his explanation and he made ample stops for those of us behind to catch up. Trail scenery was nice and there was a nice variety of hot dogs available at the BBQ. ☺️ Overall a fun experience. Highly recommend!

The snowmobile tour was very fun! Well organized and in small groups. We also liked that there was a BBQ included (with vegetarian option per request). In the beginning we had to wait a little bit until the bus arrived but it was not too bad. You get to switch drivers in the middle of the ride which was nice and there is time to take pictures. We rode through a beautiful snow landscape!
It was an amazing experience. Everything was well organised. We had a great time
amazing tour and amazing people
My wife and I had an amazing time with this Snowmobile Safari. It was easy to find the store and the team at Arctic GM were fantastic. They helped you fit the right gear and the clothes and helmet they gave were great quality. The snowmobiles were new and worked with no issues. Nice sausage and bread after the tour, by a camp fire was good. Great tour and experience, would 100% recommend.
Fantastic adventure with professional instructors. Totally loved this 💖
Very friendly staff helped us with the parking. Snowmobile adventure was fun and resonably priced for 75 euros per person. They ride in groups of 4 snowmobiles on pur trip so it felt really personal. (We wish we could go faster though, but the paths were not really suitable. We went max 20km/h) The bbq is small, you get a warm drink and a hot dog. But you can warm up in a tent with a campfire whule waiting for the vans to pick you up. We were happy, it was well organized.
I’ve done several activities via this trusted site on my travels. I was really looking forward to this adventure on the snow. How bitterly disappointed I was. First we met at the office to be given safety helmets and optional wet weather clothing by a Turkish woman. The Russian guy at reception wisely advised, we wouldn’t need the extra clothing in such warm conditions. After waiting around 45 minutes in the office and having a complimentary instant coffee, we made our way to the coach. There were around a dozen or more tourists. The coach journeyed approximately an hour to the site where the snowmobiles are located. We were then split into three groups. I was in Adam’s group, he was Indian and in his late twenties. A nice guy who explained how to operate the snowmobiles. After a brief three minute induction, we set off in tandem. There were seven of us and we cruised along a track at an average speed of 20 km/h. After thirty minutes it was time for a quick break and a photo opportunity. Then another thirty minutes on the same track. We circumnavigated a loop never going off piste once. It was all very civilised and a little boring if I’m truthful. Then it was back to the bbq!! This was nothing more than cheap hot dogs in mustard and ketchup. It was like an ikea cafe really. Close by were three wig wams and a huge frozen lake. There were three reindeer who had seen better days. Very under nourished and pitiful I’m sad to say. This trip is misleading. It’s not a three hour activity and there’s no really bbq. I felt short changed and misled.
Excellent experience, met our expectations and more. Snowmobile ride was long enough to enjoy, through beautiful forest. Staff were very friendly and always up for a chat.
Super fun snowmobile safari in Rovaniemi! Friendly patient guides, awesome new snowmobiles, beautiful snowy forests, and a tasty BBQ included. Well organized and thrilling. We even met a super friendly Hungarian organiser - Bali. :) Highly recommend! ❄️🏍️
Good equipment and good technical instruction. However there was too much time wasted at the start and particularly at the end of the snowmobiling event. The BBQ was a delay strategy for the nearly two hour delay in waiting for the return coach and twice as long as the actual snowmobiling. A turkey sausage (no veg option) in a crumby roll took 20 minutes. The staff were dismissive of any enquiries. The event was advertised as 5 mobiles to one instructor. In actuality there were over 20 snow mobiles in a line interspersed by the instructors. The scenery was fabulous on the loop we did twice at 20km, but we had to keep pulling over for the other mobiles in the group. Could have been fabulous. Too many in our group and the significant waiting around ate into our holiday time.
Beautiful experience. You can drive the snowmobiles and after having a hot dog with hot chocolate.
Amazing and unforgettable experience, totally worth it ! And thanks a lot to Nil for his kindness and professionalism
It was brilliant. The wheather was great, our guide, Adam was nice and patient with us, he regulated the speed and pace well. Highly recommend everyone to do this!
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Arctic GM! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Since we don’t speak English very well, we were a bit worried, but our guide was simply fantastic. Even though I can't recall the name, the patience shown in explaining everything to us was moving. I was also very nervous about driving at first, but the guide assisted me in such an incredible and reassuring way that I felt safe the whole time. To top it all off, we enjoyed delicious hot dogs and hot chocolate at the end of the tour, which was the perfect way to warm up and share our excitement. It truly made the trip special for us. If you are looking for a professional, patient, and heart-warming tour in Lapland, look no further. Highly recommended!
It was an amazing expérience ! We went there with 2 teenagers 12 and 14 and we really love the tour. Our guide Tanguy was very nice and gave us a lot of explanations. The landscape was beautiful with the snow. Thank you to all the team who is great!
We really enjoyed the trip😃. Especially the fast ride around the lake with our guide Tan👍💯. But the leisurely ride through the forest also had its charm😍. Finally, we were able to warm up in the tents with the fire. They treated us to hot drink and we ate delicious sausages. Highly recommended tours with Arctic GM. Than you again xx
We had an amazing time. Our guide was Alexandra and she was so lovely. We felt very safe with her whilst snowmobiling, it was all very well explained and was so much fun. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights on our tour and Alexandra was so sweet and put so much effort it to take photos of us all and to make sure we stopped to appreciate them. It was a perfect trip. Thank you Alexandra x
The snowmobiling is quite a drive outside of Rovaniemi. When we booked the experience, it said maximum 8 guests but there were close to 50 people on the coach!! When we arrived, we were split into smaller groups of appx. 12 people which was okay. We had a wonderful guide (French lady) who explained everything very clearly. She was careful but let us go fast when it was safe. My daughter had quite a bad nosebleed (not because of the trip!) and the guide was so kind and helped me look after her. Despite my initial reservations, this is a fantastic trip. The scenery is stunning, the snowmobiles are great fun, and the sausages were rather tasty afterwards!
Amazing snowmobile ride which wouldn't be so great without great guide Daniel! All recommendations for you guys!! Best regards
Thank you for the well-organized snowmobile tour today. The experience was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it as adults. The guiding team was kind and attentive, and we appreciated the separate sled with fur seating for the children. However, in extreme temperatures, additional thermal protection would be beneficial. Clearer information on the booking website about the level of cold exposure and recommended gear would allow parents to prepare accordingly, for example by bringing extra blankets or insulation. Two of the three children were ours. All three were very much in discomfort because of the temperature. Ours wore two layers of thermal clothing, winter boots rated to –30°C, regular ski gloves, and two pairs of socks under their ski suits 20000 mm); nevertheless, their hands and feet became very cold, which affected their comfort during the ride. Overall, we value your team’s efforts and had a positive experience.
An amazing experience !! Thank u so much guys
Great ride through stunning scenery. Group leader ensured ride was safe at all times. The hot chocolate and sausage at the end was really welcome as it was a very cold day. All the equipment was in good condition and staff are most helpful.
It was a great experience to ride on a snow scooter. Tan was a great guide leading us through the forest. He watched us very carefully while riding scooter. Payed attention for our safety. Thank you so much, Tan and Arctic GM. I recommend it very very much!
When we came to the pick up place 15 min before time, I see an email about that we were 1 hour too late. But that was because they forgot to tell us that the pick up time was changed. The lady in the office told us we could get the money back, of course we should have the money back because it was a mistake they did, but we wanted the tour, that’s why we booked the tour. I am not at all patience in this situation. I just regret that we did not picked another company. We were in Oure hotel 2 min away, and we really can’t understand why they didn’t just called us. And I really don’t like the way they are treating the quilting about this mistake, the lady in your office just blaming GetYourGuide company, the place where we have bought the trip (which we had done so many times before). I can’t use that blaming for nothing, it is your company that has chosen to use GetYourGuide and then it is up to you to make things happen correctly or drop the corporations. This was our chance’s once in the lifetime. We have been travelling all over the world and have done so many recommendations and 95% of them are always good, but this time it will not. We are so disappointed.
We had an amazing snowmobile experience in Rovaniemi, and honestly, Joona was one of the best guides we’ve had on any trip. He was so patient, kind, and always ready to help us. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, especially beginners, and explained everything clearly. He treated us really well and made the whole trip fun and memorable. We truly enjoyed every moment. Our only regret is that we didn’t have cash with us to give him a tip, because he really deserved it. If you’re planning to go snowmobiling in Rovaniemi, I 100% recommend Joona. You won’t be disappointed!
We attended this activity as a family of 5, it took a good 6hours in all. First stop was at the city centre office where the ladies provided us with the clothing, boots and helmets. Then the lovely elf took us to the bus transport to the place with the snowmobiles. It took about 35-40 min from Rovaniemi. Once we arrived there, we were separated in groups of 8 people I think. Our guide was Alexei from Moldova and he was very clear in his instructions how to drive the snowmobile. The drive was for about 1 hour taking us through forest, then at the middle of the journey we stopped on a lake, had some time for pictures and then continue with the driving on the lake and through the forest again. Alexei was checking us all the time if any issues, stopped to explained and reassured us and mainly to enjoy ourselves. At the end, we were taken to the bbq area where lovely Russian chaps prepared delicious hotdogs and we rested in the tents around the fire. There was a farm near by where we saw the reindeer and we explored a little bit around. Mobile toilets on site and a cafe near by. We had to wait until the next group of people arrived from Rovaniemi. All in all was great experience, will do it again!
Aleksi was very helpful to those that got stuck and needed help. Fun ride with some slow and some fast. Did it solo and enjoyed it! Good value for the money. I had a bike to myself and the price was excellent. Recommend using a go pro or other hands free camera because it’s hard to ride and record. Directions weren’t always good for me (getting ready or after the ride) because I think most people are traveling in pairs or groups.
Our tour was so much fun from start to finish! Our tour guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and funny, he made sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing before we left on the snow mobiles and kept a close eye on us to make sure no one was left behind or got hurt. We loved driving through the forest and over the frozen lake and got to switch drivers half way through. I was very nervous to try but Daniel made me feel a lot better about it. The bbq after (hot dogs) around the fire was good too, the other passengers on our ride were a lot of fun and our guide even played music for us on the way back and we all had a sing along together. 10/10 recommend!
A fantastic trip, very well organised and the guide Siri was excellent. Well worth every penny.
TANGUY WAS INCREDIBLE! He was so funny and really good at his job. We had the best time ever! Thank you so much for an incredible experience! ALL THE BEST- YOUR ENGLISH BESTIES! 🇬🇧
We had such a fantastic time on the snowmobile trip. Tanguy was the most incredible tour guide, we wouldn’t have wished for anyone else. The snowmobile to the fire at the end, wouldn’t change a thing about it. We even managed to see the northern lights at the end of the night. Value for money is incredible and you get split into smaller groups so it’s more comfortable with everyone. The snowmobile tour is highly recommended! Thank you so much! Love the great British Girls!
The tour was amazing. 10 out of 10 for me! Our guide was very good and caring. The experience as a whole was phenomenal! I highly recommend!
Amazing snowmobile tour in Rovaniemi! Everything was perfectly organized. Alexandra was an excellent guide: kind, professional, and very attentive. An unforgettable experience!
Such an amazing experience! The whole thing was so nicely organized. The termic suit is perfect and we didn‘t feel the cold at all. The guide was so kind as well qnd explained everything. Thank you so much for everything.
nice experience to drive in a quiet area very bumpy though - I would not recommend to anyone pregnant women or people with back problems unfortunately our bus broke down a few kms before reaching the park but the team quickly reacted using their vans and doing several back and forth to get everyone there we have done 4 different activities with Arctic GM - found them good (except the northern lights one) and the guides were all nice, although inexperienced for most of them. The communication from the company could also be improved
What if you only have a chance or time to do one thing in Lapland, you should choose snowmobile safari with Arctic GM activities! There’s really nice and well management from the operations office to remind me and contact in WhatsApp for helping me to prepare the snowmobile. All staff is nice and helpful, keep me ready for the game- match sized of the helm, good clothes for winter. Also, my tour guide(for I can’t remember his name, he can speak English, Spanish, Russian!) is very friendly and great helpful for the tour. I am solo travelling and he gave me all the advice for controlling my snowmobile. He is well experienced, guide us to experience the winter Lapland and take many incredible photos. Nevertheless, they also prepare a fire camp and tent for warm food and hot drinks after the activity. All the guides are helpful and nice. Thank you all for welcoming us, and it was amazing tour for me in Lapland. I highly recommend it. All the best, Arctic GM!
On the way to the activity they put us on a bus with no heat. It was so cold we were all shivering and you could see your breath. The actual snowmobiling was good. The guide was great, a good safety briefing. Then we went on the trail to the lake which it was horrible. They do not service the trail it was very uncomfortable. If you have a back problem do not go. On the lake it was great smooth exciting. Places to stop for photos. Then back on the horrible trail where I saw the equipment to smooth out the trail under a layer of snow. We got to the bbq which was good, but there were no lights and I tripped over small stumps. After getting warm at the teepee we got into a freezing cold bus You could see your breath and by the time we got back I was shivering again. They charge a good amount for the excursion, they could fix the equipment.
We got fitted in snowsuits and helmets to go over the top of our kit, driven out to the snowmobiles and they looked brand new! Our tour was so good, through the forest and onto a frozen lake where we could stop to take pictures and swap drivers. We were then given a hot chocolate and hot dog and allowed to sit around a fire to warm up after the tour, I would 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about it!
I liked the organization and the attention of the staff; they are very kind. My guide, Siri, was a kind and professional person. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and the landscape.
I did the Snowmobiles with Daniel, who was a fantastic guide. They drive you to the their private area so there's no chance of traffic, guide you through operating the snowmobile, and then you have a blast going through forest and open areas. If you're lucky like me, the Aurora Borealis might even show up!
Daniel, the best guide could have!Thank you Daniel for your professional guidance and for making this experience one of the best!
This tour was poorly managed with too many people and no clear communication so lots of waiting for confused people. Our original time was delayed by and hour then the bus left another hour late then broke down leaving us to do our tour in the dark. No one tells you what’s going on and no one knows what’s going on. I would recommend using another company.
Really bad experience with them. First to say is that I cancelled a tour in the refundable period and they did not give my money back after almost 20 days. I made q lot of contacts and complaints but they don't even answer now!!!! But the worst thing is the other tour I did. It was the Snowmobiling. They lie in the website conditions saying the groups are maximum 5 bikes (we were 8). They lie saying the bus is a modern one (standard, 50 people). But the worst thing is the experience of our 6 year-old kid and others that were travelling in the children's sled. Not only because it is not well prepared and they've frozen, but because in the middle of te experience... THE SLED BROKE!!!! We were waiting for a solution 40 minutes ind the middle of nowhere and, at the end, the children returned in guides snowbikes, really slow, making our tour not fun at all at any moment. This is incredible. A lot of people wanted to complain. I did! Never again with this company.
Truly a fun experience. Highly recommended! The tour guide was nice and patient. He always ensured that we were enjoying the experience at the max!
The snowmobile ride was exhilarating and so fun! Didn’t expect it to be so easy to ride. It was fun going across the lake. It felt like time just flew by going on the snowmobile 10km through the forest path and across the lake. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful trip with Arctic GM. Our trip advisor Viktor in husky ride, Tan & Eric in snowmobile were always there to help and guide, and made sure we enjoy our trip to the fullest. We had One of our lifetime memories created here. Very professional and organized tour partner. Must recommend. Thank you.
The entire tour was very well organized! And special shoutout to Alexei our guide who was very patient and skilled and helped us master the snowmobile. Still thinking about this hot dog that we had at the end!
Wonderful outfit, very accommodating. It was an hour long trip in the magical boreal forest in the dead of the night at 5 pm...:). Guides knowledgeable and keeping safety and fun skillfully intertwined. The reindeer at the end were just lovely. All equipment new and well maintained. Arrive a bit earlier than scheduled for your equipment to have the best experience, otherwise it can be a gong show with all those tourists showing up all at the same time. Staff is fantastic, both in town and in the Forrest. Strongly recommended!
It was truly a great experience. The group was leaded by very professional and friendly tour guides. The tour went on for 4 hours and it was one of the best things we did in Lapland.
