This experience was a once in a lifetime!! The lights October 31st gave us a show that cannot truly be captured with a camera! On top of that we had the funniest most charismatic guide (Emin) you could ask for! His energy made the entire experience 10x better!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our Northern Lights tour. Our tour guide, Gorkem, was fantastic and enthusiastic and went above and beyond to make the experience so special. We were incredibly lucky to see such spectacular Northern Lights, which made the evening truly memorable. Everything was organised so well, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It was absolutely amazing. Our two guides, Gorkem and Muhammet were brilliant. They put maximum effort in to make sure we saw the Northere Lights. They had all the proper tracking equipment and took us to the best places. They also took individual photos for us in front of the Northern Lights, as well as separate photos and videos, which they then sent to us the next day. When I was having problems capturing the lights on my phone camera, Muhammet took a look and changed the settings so I could get better images. Also, I have problems standing for long periods of time and Muhammet even produced a stool for me to sit on when I was thinking I'd have to go back to the van to sit down. It was an amazing trip and I would definitely recommend these guys - they really made our night, and our trip to Rovaniemi. This was my fourth attempt to see the Northern Lights and I am glad I went with this company.

Emin was a great guide. His enthusiasm about the lights was contagious. We were lucky and able to see the lights, it was an amazing experience.

We had a good time chasing Northern Lights with Emin. We sat in the front and got to ask all the proper questions to our guide. We drove for a long time and the trip was really long but in the end, it was well worth it. We got to see some good ones even though it was cloudy. Emin never gave up on finding some lights for us to see and photograph. Overall, a super trip.

This tour did NOT disappoint. Our tour leader, Emin, was extremely nice, patient, informative, and clearly loves his job and is extremely interested in the Auroras. This is his passion. He told us to keep our expectations low because it’s nature and the three nights before my tour were too cloudy to take guests. We made several stops and were able to see the lights by eye and then the cameras captured them even more beautifully. Emin takes photos and I’m excited to receive them! Nature may noy have cooperated with the full show on my night but my son and I were more than thrilled with what we saw and the stars in the sky and constellations, fresh air and nature all around. We drove into Sweden which was a treat for us to add another country to this trip :). Overall, we really loved the experience. The transportation was comfortable, music was terrific, Emin brought out hot berry juice and treats. Would highly recommend!

We went in October 2026 and got so lucky to see the northern lights. Our tour guide was soooo excited about the light and it made us excited too. We got a lot of great photos and timelapse videos from the tour so that was appreciated! The tour lasted about 4 hours (2 hours round trip, and 2 hours to explore).

Amin our guide was really fun and very knowledgeable 🫶🏼💚 he was very patient to look for the northern lights and he made my birthday wish possible and memorable 🫶🏼 loved all the photos taken during the trip. thank you so much and definitely i’ll recommend booking this tour again.

It was an incredible experience. The guides took us to the most perfect spot where we saw an incredible display of the Auroras. I could not have asked for a better experience. They really catered to our utmost comfort - provided blankets, phone charger cables and WiFi. The guides themselves were very professional and very very lovely - they got so excited when the auroras were so lit up and their positivity definitely kept the group excited as well. Would definitely do another tour with them.

We were lucky enough to spot one of the most amazing dancing auroras with hues of pink thanks to our guides IIker and Emin. They explained the formation of aurora and answered all our questions. They were constantly taking care of us. They took loads of pictures and made the whole experience memorable.

It was a very great experience, Emin always looked for our care, and nobody misses anything of the bigshow. Wonderful pictures taken by Emin too, you guys cant imagine how beautiful this experience is.

I found Lapin Travis Tours by chance. Their write up impressed me and I made the best choice. Meni n Resa were the best you will find. Their commitment, passion and enthusiasm about the Aurora is 2nd to none. We travelled kms to achieve a sighting on a cloudy, otherwise unsuccessful, night, but they managed it. The BEST tour I have taken. They are 100% worth booking with !

Tour operator was an amazing person. He drove us around 300 kms to Sweden , which was the only place possible to see northern lights on the day from Rovaniemi. He worked with passion!

I booked a small group tour expecting an intimate, premium experience, but the execution was highly disappointing. The Good: To give credit where it's due, the choice of venue to chase the aurora was great. The guide successfully found a fantastic location with clear skies, which gave us a solid opportunity to view the lights. The Bad (Group Size & Uninvited Guests): Instead of the intimate setting promised, our group was combined with another van, pushing the total to nearly 14 people. To make matters worse, once we arrived at the location, the tour guide’s personal friends showed up and joined our group. What was supposed to be a paid, exclusive small tour turned into a crowded hangout with additional people who did not pay for the service. The Photography Issues: Because the guide spent a significant amount of time hanging out and taking photos for their friends, the paying guests were left waiting. When we finally did get our photos taken, the quality was disappointing. The photography skills were not up to professional standards—some of the pictures were blurry. I expected to leave with at least a few high-quality, memorable shots, but the lack of focus and divided attention ruined that opportunity. Final Verdict: While the location scouting was good, the lack of professionalism, combined groups, and favoritism shown to uninvited friends completely took away from the value of a "small group" package. I would not recommend this tour if you are looking for an attentive guide and quality photos. Having previously taken an aurora tour with another company, I had a much better experience elsewhere. That tour strictly maintained their small group size, focused 100% of their attention on the paying guests, and provided sharp, professional-quality photos. This contrast made the lack of professionalism on this specific tour even more apparent.

Our first date was cancelled due to low aurora activity. We rebooked for the following evening. Picked up at our hotel and we drove about 2 hours North to a quiet lake/reservoir. Our guide and driver was fantastic from start to finish. We got to see and experience the Northern Lights even with low activity. Lots of picture opportunities with your own camera or having the guides take as many pics of you as you wanted. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. And of note, the in van tunes were way better coming back! Highly recommended!

​Misleading "Guarantee" – Only visible on camera, not to the naked eye It is not about asking for a refund; it is purely about honesty so other travelers do not get misled. ​During the tour, the sky was pitch black with only stars—nothing was visible to the naked eye. The only green tint was on the camera screen through long-exposure photos. ​They still use this "money-back guarantee" on Instagram to trick people, so after the tour, I asked them to clarify whether their guarantee meant seeing the lights with the naked eye or just on a photo. When I mentioned that we couldn't see anything with our own eyes, Emin falsely claimed that we saw them with our naked eyes. ​Claiming a camera shot counts as a Northern Lights guarantee and telling customers they saw something they didn't is completely dishonest. Emin misled us, and I am writing this review solely to warn future customers.

The experience was extraordinary! Our guide Emin and driver/photographer Rasa took us up to Sweden almost Norway guaranteeing a successful and awesome trip…we could appreciate wonderful Nothern lights due to their proficiency and ability as well as enlightening human beings.

We had the most incredible Northern Lights tour! The aurora was visible pretty much the entire night, and we could clearly see the vibrant green curtains dancing across the sky with our naked eyes. Our guide, Emin, was absolutely fantastic. He took so many great photos of us and even recorded some wonderful videos to capture the memories. Hello! Our experience with Lapin Taivas was great. We didn't expect to see any aurora because the day was cloudy and it had been raining. Miraculously at night the sky cleared and we could see several incredible auroras. The group was very small and we had a great time. We could see the lights next to a lake in the middle of a forest, it was beautiful. The guide was very friendly, explained everything very well and took us back to the hotel giving us red fruit juice and buns. Thank you for everything and a big hug!

Had an amazing experience with this team, we went in April knowing v well that the chances are slim due to not so dark sky and overcast but I’m so glad i chose these people! They welcome you, explain in simple terms how northern lights work, dampen your expectations (best thing to do) and take you to the best spots with clear skies full of stars! It was so beautiful even before the lights display and when the show started, it was surreal. This experience is better to do it with a team that is passionate and enjoys the aurora just as much and talks about it endlessly!! And just when you are contempt, they’ll provide hot juice and some snacks and play the best songs ever ❤️ We were lucky to see the lights close to rovaniemi but this team would drive you as long as they can and give their 200% until they find the clear skies!! Just go with them, thanks Rasa and Emin for the unforgettable experience. I hope you continue this for a loooong time :)

It was an amazing adventure. I loved seeing my guide Rasa hunt the lights, looking at the sky and the scientific data to get us the best spot. The van was super comfortable too! And the warm berry juice was the cherry on top. For my family, it was worth the price. The trip lasted for about 5 hours and we got two spots to see the auroras. Also they take the most amazing photos and send them to was with a link; they are included in the package. We really enjoyed the experience.

We got a short lesson about how the Northern Lights are formed and were lucky enough to also get awesome professional photos from Emin & Mustafa. They even alerted us after the tour was done for a later Aurora event that we could have totally missed. They are so amazing & dedicated and I highly recommended as guides/photographers for the Northern Lights experience!

Enjoyed our experience to see the Northern Lights. It was a long bus ride to escape the cloud cover, around 4 hrs north of Roveniemi, but worth it when we saw the sky light up. The bus was very comfortable and the bus driver was excellent. Raza our guide was friendly and kept us updated throughout the night. Although the photos from the tour company were not the best, we managed to get quite a few shots of our own.

I have mixed feelings with this agency. We did the experience on the geostorm in March. First they took us into a parking lot for a briefing and one of the guides was smoking in front of children. Then we took a 2 hr drive in which we apparently were lost several times. No one was telling us what was happening. I believe we found a spot by mere luck. The team, was very upbeat and excited to see the show the aurora was giving and the pictures were super good. On the way back, the truck had oil issues and we had to stop several times

It was an amazing experience! The tour was perfectly organized and Emin, our guide, was very friendly and informative. We were super lucky to see the Northern Lights so well and for such a long time. The ride to Inari and our stop at the lake was really worth it. It was also great to get same warm juice and sandwiches. Thanks for this fantastic experience!

THEY SCAMMED ME! I booked this tour, and on the same day they created a WhatsApp group to tell us that the northern lights hunt had been cancelled due to allegedly bad weather. They offered us the option to pay an extra €60 to switch to a small group in a van instead of a bus, because apparently a van could go farther than a bus. Some people did, while others didn’t because we couldn’t afford the extra cost. This happened about 3–4 hours before the tour was supposed to start, so I couldn’t book any other northern lights tour for that day, and I was leaving the day after. Since it wasn’t my fault that they couldn’t use the bus, they should have offered the small-group van option for free instead of being greedy and trying to charge us even more. After that they have been chasing me and sharashing me on whatsap. Also they dont want to give me a refund, Ive got a whatsapp message from them saying literally "No refund will be processed btw☺️" I understand that this depends on the weather, but if they can operate with vans instead of buses, they should accommodate the bus customers for free. It is not professional or serious to cancel the tour and leave customers without the experience, especially when they know that most of them are tourists on a tight schedule. So if you go to Rovaniemi, avoid this company. They are not serious, and you will just waste your time and money.
