Perfect tour, the guides are super nice

Went with Dennis and he was the best guide one could get. We’d gone with booklapland previously and not been able to experience the auroras clearly, so we tried again with these guys. Dennis was our guide and he left no stone unturned to make sure we had the most full filling experience. Reason I say this is - at around 10:30 PM we saw the auroras right outside of Rovaniemi. They were vivid, colourful and alive. However, there was still some light pollution given our proximity to the city. We all assumed the trip was over and that we were heading home. But Dennis had other plans. He continued to drive us up north to a less light polluted place and with some patience and luck at 2 AM we once again saw the auroras do their dance in all glory! It was absolutely magical. One of the best experiences of my life. As for Dennis - he didn’t need to drive us an extra 3h anywhere post the first aurora sightings, but he did. He’s dedicated and definitely looks up to his responsibility. Would recommend him every single time!

I highly recommend experience tours.. we book with them first day we couldn 't see the lights .. they gave us option to rebook or reschedual , we went other day it was the best aurora ever ! This review has nothing to do with what we saw but the experience of the trip itself. The good: the tour guide spoke excellent english, very friendly and patient.They picked us up on time. The bad: 9 hours trip with one bathroom break, the vehicle has zero suspension and people seated in the back felt all the bumps; driver kept going from side to side and made the ride very uncomfortable; The ugly: this was a road side experience with trucks and cars passing by at high speed every couple seconds which spoiled the experience. They didn’t take us to an open field or shielded area from light pollution from traffic. To note that weather was not favourable and they did their best to find the lights barely noticeable lights, if we weren’t told they are there we wouldn’t have known. Camera definitely picks up better than the naked eye. That being said, had we known what the experience will be we would have not wasted money, energy and time.

I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Northern Lights hunting tour on March 2nd! Even though I was part of a large group tour (7:00 PM), the entire evening felt well-organized and professional. ​Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about finding the best views for us. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and took the time to capture professional photos of the group under the lights, which is such a great bonus. ​Standing out there watching the aurora was a highlight of my trip. We highly recommend the Northern Light Tour of Experience Tour and the guide Dennis We are a family of 4 from Hong Kong joining the Northern Light Tour on 14 Feb Our guide, Dennis, is very patient, thoughtful and caring. He is more than a guide and is a real expert of Norhern Light hunting When we checked the Aurora app on 14 Feb, it showed that the chance of seeing Northern Light is 0% as the weather us really cloudy We prepared for seeing nothing though it is the main purpose for us to visiting Rovaniemi Dennis kept checking different information (weather report, upcoming intensity of Northern Light etc) He final found a perfect spot (a very wide area with only our tour around)  for aurora hunting and luckily we made it!! The aurora was insane and basically best of the best!! What’s more Dennis was very professional with camera brought and we had taken a lot of beautiful pictures. Despite the freezing weather (-30 degree), he didn't stop helping us take photos. Dennis is absolutely the best guide I have ever met We really had a great time and we highly recommend you guys to give this a shot!! Although it was freezing cold, it was awesome to see the northern lights directly. So far I have only seen them on photos and videos.

I had this trip with a friend, we went all the way from Nicaragua, we were really scared to miss the chance to see the lights but The experience was absolutely amazing, our guide was Tris, he was so friendly. At the first place we didn’t see them but then we moved farther and we had the chance to get to see the northern lights, they are so beautiful, Tris took some pictures of everyone in the group and then we went to another place and we saw more lights, everyone of them so incredible! I’m very grateful for his patience with the pictures and his great personality.

We had such a great experience on the Aurora tour! Everything was very well organized and the whole evening felt relaxed and enjoyable. Annie, our guide, was fantastic! We called her a millions times and she answered always to all of our questions. They drove us pretty far (like an hour away from Rovaniemi) and we stopped to the first stop, where we saw the lights but she was not satisfied. So they brought us to another place too and there we saw the brightest Northern Lights. So fun and beautiful, the pictures are perfect and the price is very good for the overall experience! The bus was full (so about 50 people) and the tour lasted 5.5 hours.

Mikael as driver and Anna as photographer made this trip really enjoyable. First prompt pick up in lovely minibus. Real luxury. Then they worked really hard to find breaks in cloud cover. We were lucky to see the northern lights and appreciate effort of hunting them down. Best of all was Anna’s enthusiasm to take as many ace photos as we wanted. I’ve been on other trips where this wasn’t the case. We weren’t blessed with the most amazing show but were so lucky to see a burning meteorite explode. Sensational.

We had an amazing time on this tour! Another company flaked and sent us this way instead. They accommodated us literally in the last minute, for two nights. The first night we went with Dennis, who clearly has a passion for his job and taught us a lot. The second night we were with Matias who took like a million pictures of us, no complaints and no rushing! We’ll def be booking with them next time around too!

Our tour guide was Denise and he was one of the best guides I’ve ever come across. He was so earnest and sincere with his work. Extremely personable and knowledgable about the northern lights and the science behind it. The tour was meant to be 4 hours but we crossed that by several hours because we didn’t see the lights. He was so patient and gave his best to give us the opportunity of viewing the northern lights. Thanks to him we didn’t only get great pictures but we saw an amazing show with our naked eyes. Due to bad weather, our original Northern Lights tour was cancelled but instead of disappointment, we were offered a next-day reschedule, which turned out to be incredible.The conditions were perfect and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights and capture some once-in-a-lifetime photos. The whole experience was great: excellent service, a comfortable ride, engaging stories along the way, and a real sense of adventure. Chasing the lights, ending up in the middle of nowhere on frozen lakes, made it feel magical and fun rather than just a standard tour. I joined this Aurora Hunt tour and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was absolutely worth it. Our guide was incredibly responsible and shared so much knowledge about the Northern Lights, including how to track them and the tips she uses to find the best spots. Thanks to her, we were able to see the aurora, and she also took many amazing photos for us. On top of that, being able to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in the freezing temperature felt so warm and comforting. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lapland—definitely an experience you should have at least once in your life.

We went hunting for the Northern Lights with Matias on October 31. The sky was very cloudy in Rovaniemi, so Matias suggested we go to Sweden (Abisko), more than 400 km away, to see the only place in Lapland where the sky was clear. It was an incredible adventure. Matias is very dedicated and takes great photos. We were right to trust him, because we managed to see the Northern Lights and it was a unique experience! Once again, thank you to Matias, we highly recommend him.

I would like to mention that my review is about the guide, since we had bad luck time and the night was unbelievable cloudy. Matias did all his effort and that was amazing from his side, not just giving up easily since we know, weather can change very fast. So, when booking with any company, be aware that the weather sometimes does not play along and even it does, without a good guide any company nor any tour can be successfully. Thanks anyway Matias!! Exceptional tour. The feeling if seeing aurora borealis was surreal. Anni, pur guide and a very patient photographer made sure that we experienced the northern lights as many times as possible in the tour. A perfect guide. She alongwith mikeal ( who drove as all the way till sweden ) ensured that we saw the northern lights for sure as also we were comfortable through out. Very well organised tour. Would definitely comeback and have the same tour.

Me and my husband had the best time ever! He's very friendly and patient 😊 Mathias took several pictures of us and they are stunning 😍 Onr thing i would like to highlight is the profesionalism of the company, a few hours before our tour we received a message indicating that the weather was not on our side but we could request a refund with an immediate response or we can go ahead 😀 even told us to take our passport as me might even go to Sweden border, as there is a spot there to see the northrn lights! Amazing pictures with the northernlights !!! First stop with our 2 guides Anni and Matias and we saw northernlights ! They are so nice, they explained a lot, gave us warm tea and coffee and took so many pics of us. Im so grateful for their tour, a thing in my bucket list is done ! We left at 7h30 pm and we came back at 1 am after many many pictures :D 100% recommend

We were very satisfied with the overall service! We were picked up on time, travelled 100km+ distance to catch the best view. And we visited 3 different spots as our guides Matias and Anni believed we could catch better views - which turned out to be right :) We came back by 2 am but could sleep in the bus. They also offered tea & coffee and took millions of photos :) We would gladly prefer them again when we come back!

Our guide, Wäinö, a Finnish guy from Lapland, took us in a 9-seater van to Ivalo, deep in the north of Lapland, where the sky was clear. We stopped at a remote lake to take photos, and although the lights weren’t very strong, we could still see them well thanks to the great location. The trip was long, so it’s a good idea to bring some food. It was a pleasant experience – I recommend it!

The weather was very cloudy in Finlândia but the guide brought us to the north of the country so we could see the amazing northern lights. Matias and Anni were out driver and tour guide. Also they took pictures for all of us. They drove 4 hs to reach the place. When we reach the place, Was no rush and we could enjoy . They provide hot tea also. Was worthy

If I could give more stars I would. From the beginning Matias and his colleague told us step by step what we could except. They did their best to find the aurora. After we found it the first time and we made pictures they didn't stop and went to Sweden. There we saw a spectacular aurora. They made a lot of pictures and asked everone if they want more pictures. After we saw the aurora in Sweden they gave everone thea an coffee. On our way home they stopt one more time and gave us time to enjoy the light for the last time.

Thanks to his and Elis's effort and expertise we were able to see the Northern Lights, even though the weather was not on our side. We had an absolutely spectacular experience on the Northern Lights tour! Without a doubt, this tour deserves five stars. Our guide and driver Matias was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; it was clear they really know his stuff. We had also a photographer for high quality picture of aurora. The tour was very well organized. We started out quite humbly, not expecting much because it's cloudy and no activity was happening. Our tour guide Matias made the wise decision to stay at the place at 1 and half hour driving from rovaniemi and wait, and Aurora showed up!! Small activities at the horizon at first, then large stripes over head! We took so many amazing photos, both tour guides ( Matias and photographer) were super helpful. Overall, the tour was fantastic, and I highly recommend it 100%. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, this is definitely the way to go!! It has good price because it’s a new travel agency , i reserved on get your guide , i saw cheap price and i tried this tour. It was an amazing night and i reserved another tour with him for another day and both days we saw northern lights.

It was a lot of fun. The guides were very friendly and drove us to Sweden looking for the Northern Lights. I really enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour.

Very disappointed. Then we knew seeing the Northern Lights wasn't guaranteed. After leaving a review of our experience, the organizer refused to send us the few photos taken during the activity. We paid €300 in total and he told us that we had to delete our review to receive them. So he blackmailed us. That's not normal. Think carefully before booking!! I advise you to do this activity elsewhere.

We went 4 friends to take pictures of the Northern Lights and we really loved it. Although it was a bit difficult because the weather was not accompanying, guide Dennis was very friendly and we laughed a lot. We recommend it 100%, it was great fun and wonderful photos remained.

This tour was a 12-hour long one, and most of it was travel. The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... I remember drinking hot berry juice under a beautiful starry sky.

We went on a trip to Sweden from Rovaniemi and saw the beautiful Northern Lights!!! At first, I couldn't see the aurora with my naked eye, but after a couple of hours, I could clearly see it with my naked eye. To be honest, I thought that if I was caught on camera, I would be OK, but the guide persisted and I can only thank him for taking so many photos in the cold. If that's the case, there's still a point after you've seen it, so let's go! The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments...　The day before, we received a notice around 13:00 that the tour had been cancelled due to the weather, so we could smoothly choose to change or cancel the tour the next day. I really recommend this tour if you want to see the Northern Lights anyway!!!　Thank you, Mr. Guide.
