This is for someone who wants to get a taste of a reindeer farm! Yes the reindeer ride is short, but the experience was amazing! Especially since we got to feed them and have warm juice with cookies after while we learned about reindeer history! Recommend for families with small children and all ages!
Well organized. It was cozy and a good experience. The guides were excellent, polite and helpdul. We drank hot juice, and it was really good. Highly recommended
Arrived on time but waited 45 minutes for the transport to bring us to the reindeer farm. Once we reached the farm, the sled ride was interesting and fun for sure, and we did get to pet the reindeer’s as well as feed them. Afterwards, we were brought into a traditional hut and were given warm drinks which were appreciated, however the actual portion where we were told fun facts and information about the reindeers lasted for at most 10 minutes. Once done, we waited nearly half an hour for transport back to the city. All in all, we had lots of idle and waiting time whilst the actual tour lasted for at most 45 minutes. Not sure if this is the same for other reindeer tours but the ones I experienced in Tromso were much better.
Great experience, two brilliant guides, would definitely recommend. People at Reindeer Manor also great, loads of knowledge and wonderful place.
Liked the flexibility of 2 pick up locations. The staff was kind & knowledgeable & respectful of the animals. I appreciated the learning portion at end about the reindeer and hearing more specifically about that farm/manor.
We just love it! Sled ride was cozy and nice. After it, we feed some reindeer and take photos with them. Then we get some cookies and warm drink and listen storys about reindeers.

Was just ok. Most of the time you will spend waiting. At the waiting point, on the bus, to get on the bus, for the reindeer sledge. Actual activity is roughly 5-10 min sledge ride in a circle and a quick feeding session of the Reindeer. Nice presentation about reindeer themselves after the ride with a hot drink. All in all, might be good for kids if they are patient but not a large amount of actual content for this. Maybe husky excursion has more to it.
The tour was expected to start at 2 at the farm, but it was delayed by over an hour. The farm was running behind due to previous tours running late. The good part though was the team was able to accommodate our group in the huts while we waited our turn to see the reindeers. The ride itself was barely 15 mins long. Overall, it was a very underwhelming and disappointing experience.
There are feeding of reindeer. Up close experience. The ride was good. Slow and enjoyable The guides are very nice and patient. However, it might be good to be able to house different tour group in a warm place while waiting for their turn. Advice to prepare your own beverage and snacks in case there is a queue. Then refreshment during the briefing might be a little too late.
The guides were great. The company itself exceeded expectations - I would book a tour with them again so long as Arturo and the Italian woman were the guides. Really enjoyed going to the farm and seeing the reindeer as well as the talk afterwards about them. Very informative.

AMAZING! Our guide Arny Was so lovely. The two Sámi men who ran the experience were also great! We got to feed the reindeer, the ride was the perfect length and super relaxing and then we were given warm berry juice around a fire and learnt about the Sámi people and the practice of reindeer herding. We had the opportunity to ask any questions and they were super helpful and informative. They even gave us a restaurant and meal recommendation which we went to and was amazing! I genuinely couldn’t recommend this experience enough not just for the reindeers but for the people as well.
The experience was really good. We got to ride reindeer and got to feed them as well as getting information about them. The members were very cooperative and flexible. They were really helpful and gave a lot of information about everything. We reached there by a car from Santa Clause Village which was provided. Overall it was an amazing experience and probably once in a lifetime.
Personally it was wonderful to meet the reindeer, they are beautiful creatures!!! Nature around is beautiful! I would just prefer to bypass the sled part, I would just prefer the experience of watching and being close!!!
A wonderful experience!!! We met a traditional reindeer herder who led us through the forest to his herd. What a beautiful moment to discover these animals so peaceful and what a good time shared with this charming breeder who offered us a warm berry juice by the fire in a shelter. Ultra short sleigh ride, a lot of waiting because too many people at the same time, cold and industrial atmosphere We don't see enough reindeer, we don't take enough advantage of their presence
What a dream! Go to Lapland. to Rovaniemi more exactly and visit a reindeer farm! Arrived on time , as requested precisely in the email , we wait 45 minutes without explanation before we are transported by bus to this farm. We are divided into 2 groups of about fifteen people. Quick explanations of the operation of the farm and the reindeer lifestyle , by a young man dressed in traditional dress , tasting a hot juice and cupcakes (10mn max). Reindeer sleigh ride 5mn. And reindeer feeding 5/10 minutes. The trip lasts 45 minutes no more! The kids love it! In the end this remains the main thing
È stata un'esperienza piacevole e interessante. Molto comodo il servizio di pick-up dal centro di Rovaniemi. Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di dare da mangiare alle renne e trascorrere del tempo con loro, un momento davvero speciale. La spiegazione sulla vita delle renne a fine esperienza è stata molto interessante e arricchente. Le guide sono state gentili e disponibili, rispondendo con precisione a tutte le nostre domande e curiosità. Il giro in slitta con la renna è breve, ma questo è chiaramente indicato nella descrizione, quindi non è stato una sorpresa e per noi è andato benissimo così.
Es una actividad muy tranquila, justa para familias, personas mayores, niños, o si gustas tener un poco de tranquilidad y nada extremo, los Renos son demasiados bellos y el guía muy atento al grupo.
L’esperienza è molto bella fai tutto quello che c’è da fare,ti vengono a prendere e ti portano, ti fanno l’attrezzatura se ti serve, l’assistenza in caso di problemi,fai il giro in slitta, gli dai da mangiare e ti danno te e biscotto(perché è uno) mentre ascolti nozioni sulle renne. L’unica pecca è che fai tutto molto velocemente un po come se ti volessero cacciare, ma sono tutti in realtà gentili
De informatie die we kregen van de eigenaar was zeer interessant. Het was echter zeer jammer dat het een zeer korte rit was en we maar twee rendieren konden aaien. Het was een ontgoocheling.
