We enjoyed a Dinner by the campfire. They took us to the private forest and cooked simple and tasty dinner. It was really good. We had a relaxing time with watching the campfire in the traditional tent. Our guide was really kind and good teller about Finland and Lapland. We strongly recommend it!

The evening was perfect. My mother and I were alone in the park, and Saudi Niyamlah did a wonderful job guiding us through the evening. After a sleigh ride to the park, we were able to ice skate and sled on the lake, and Saudi Niyamlah prepared a salmon soup. Afterward, we fed the reindeer and went to the sauna. Everything was so lovely and welcoming. We highly recommend it to everyone.
It was a really nice experience they have plenty of activities to try, the ice rink, the reindeers, the Downhill sledding, also the staff guys are really nice, Sauli and joonas, really friendly and they don’t rush you like in other places, they make sure that you enjoy the activities, also you get to meet other persons, I would totally recommend this, for a warm and fun polar activity
Would recommend a daytime and an aurura visit. It's so different depending on the light but beautiful in both. There at plenty Of things to do while you wait on the lights. But definitely try to keep moving to stay warm! And bring warm base layers to go under your arctic suits. But, the aurura was stunning and the photos were amazing. VERY worth the wait and the experience
Safe to say Jarce made sure our money is worth! He made sure to go above and beyond. Overall amazing experience, 100% would recommend
Did a tour with Jarcce earlier this month and had such a good time!! We were able to ice skate and feed reindeer underneath the northern lights which was such a cool and unique experience! On top of that we also hired him for his amazing photography skills which did not disappoint. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone :)
This place is absolutely incredible! I have never seen such a beautiful location. The team on site is truly adorable and immediately made my friends and me feel so welcome and at ease. We came here to go ice skating, and the frozen lake was simply magical. But the real surprise ❄️🇫🇮 and an unforgettable moment ✨was having the incredible chance to skate under the Northern Lights. It was beyond anything we could have imagined.⛸️🫶🏻 A once-in-a-lifetime experience in a breathtaking setting. Highly recommended!
This seemed pricey at first, but it's actually packed with cool experiences. We got to drive through the forest with motorbike dragging the sleigh, saw aurora, feed reindeers, ice skate on the frozen lake and slide down hills. Sauli was our guide and we met a few other guides in the area and they all seemed genuinely enthusiastic and forthcoming. The atmosphere was really cozy inside the hut and outside. Clothes provided kept us warm for hours. I would recommend the activity as it didn't feel rushed at all, it was very chill.
Our family of four had a fantastic experience with this tour! Although we didn’t get to see the Aurora due to the weather conditions, we still really enjoyed our time there.During the full 3 hours, we travelled by snowmobile sled to a pond in the middle of the frozen forest, went ice skating, and fed and walked with the reindeers (our kids just couldn’t leave them alone!). We also experienced resting in a traditional Finnish tent with a bonfire in the centre, enjoying hot blackberry juice, roasted marshmallows, and sausages. Our guide, Saudi, was very friendly and experienced. He even “saved my marriage” when I lost my car key and he helped me get it back! Highly recommended.
It was our last night of our trip and we we‘re so glad we booked it. You definetly have to be patient to see the northern lights but whiel you wait there are many activities you can do: feeding the reindeers, ice skating, sauna. They offer warm drinks and something to eat as well. Make sure to cover up as it will get cold.
Wonderfull experience with Saudi Niyamlash!! We can repeat ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………...
We booked this activity within a fortnight of our (already booked) trip as an extra activity. We were picked up from Ranua Resort reception at the correct time and transported to the frozen pond on a large sled behind a snowmobile. It was a clear night with no wind, and temperatures about 25 below zero. There was no-one else at the main site when we got there, so we went skating on the pond for a bit, then warmed up next to the fire in the large wigwam. We did some sledging on the nearby slope, ate sausage and marshmallows, fed reindeer, explored the area and saw the log cabin and sauna with ice hole (no thanks!). Our guide, Kalle, was really interesting to chat with about life in the area, and Lapland in general. We really enjoyed our time with him, and would recommend. He also kept a weather eye on the sky, and let us know when the Northern Lights were starting. It wasn't a particularly active night, but the location, with the pond to the North, meant that the Aurora was visible even when it was low in the sky, and may have been obscured by trees at other locations. We also used Lupland for another activity (Snowshoeing), which was just as good. Really impressed with the quality of staff they have, and the range of activities available. We'd be very happy using them again.
The most incredible experience of my life. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. It was incredibly beautiful and fun. We: - went snowmobiling - rode in a reindeer sleigh - fed the reindeer - took incredibly beautiful photos and videos of the Northern Lights and the reindeer - rode on ice in a special sleigh - warmed ourselves by the fire - roasted sausages, cheese things, and marshmallows - made coffee - were in wonderful company with interesting stories - they showed us a constellation that can only be seen there - they taught us how to determine the cardinal directions by the stars (so we can survive if we get lost in the forest😅) It was an unforgettable experience and the most wonderful night. I definitely recommend contacting Jari and visiting the Ranua Activity Park! Thank you, Jari!
It was a nice Trip. The Company is a Family Business and very local and personal. We learned much about the finish culture und tried different things like ice skating :) a Must do!
Realy amizing peaple and a lot off good stuff to do. Every one was super nice and fun. Would recomend for everyone. We were on snowmobiels there was a lot off thrill and aurora chasing. There were raindeers and feeding them were a lot off fun. The family is wery happy. It wasent that expencive for the things you can do there truly amazing.
We had such a great experience with Jarcce and the team. My family and I enjoyed our visit and a lovely time with the team. A cozy visit with the reindeers and campfire with food. We had a great time skating and photography was amazing.
We had the best time with Jonathan, Kalle and the Lupland team last night. They worked hard to entertain and give us all the most authentic experience. Not only did we get to feed the reindeer, cook over the fire and ice skate on the frozen pond, but we spent time talking and sharing stories about our different cultures and lifestyles. The sleigh ride was also fun…! I think this excursion actually made our trip and our 14 year old wants to be like the Lupland team when he grows up! Great job, guys 😊
We just finished an amazing Lapland winter park adventure and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The reindeer experience was magical, the old wooden hut with the fire inside was super cosy, and the sausages + marshmallows were chef’s kiss in the cold weather. A special shout-out to Saudi, our guide — he absolutely made our day. Friendly, funny, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing after-dark adventure for our family of 5 (kids ages 10, 7 and 5) with Johannes. He took us on a snowmobile-pulled sleigh into the woods. We lit a campfire in a Lappish hut, then went to feed the reindeer and afterwards went back to the hut to toast sausages and marshmallows. Johannes was super knowledgeable and had great English. He also told us about a local free ice-hockey game which we went to see after the tour
The evening of our first Northern Lights was fantastic: first with the hot fire lit by the staff and the food cooked by them, then in the night the sky lit up and the magic dance began 🥹💚🌌 wonderful!
Amazing. People kind, helpful, flexible. We trusted the guys from Luplandi and we had confidence and then the dawn broke out. 3/4 ofe full of amazing activity and an evening I will never forget
A spectacular experience in Finnish Lapland. Sauna and descent into the frozen lake. Dinner with reindeer soup, also tried the salmon one. Really good. I highly recommend adding these experiences to the aurora tour. We were followed impeccably for the aurora, which fortunately showed up right on site, over the frozen lake for skating. An incredible emotion, the guys are very kind and living this experience with them made the atmosphere even more magical. I congratulate the whole team, simple people, who showed us how much their intent is to make their customers happy. Thanks again to all of you, you were amazing
Very good experience with kalle
I would love to recommend a snowmobile tour. Everything was organized at a high level: new, well-maintained snowmobiles, a well-thought-out route, and careful attention to safety. Guides are professional, friendly and very engaged, creating a comfortable and confident atmosphere throughout the trip. Got a lot of emotions and real pleasure from the winter landscape and the trip itself. Great experience, definitely worth a try.
The experience here was an inspiring one that I will never forget in my lifetime. We had contact with reindeer, ice skating on natural ice, a Scandinavian sauna and ice bath, and snowmobiling. I could tell the staff were very kind and tried to entertain us in every activity! The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... If you are definitely going to Finland, you should join the activities here!
Unfortunately it was absolutely not as I expected, we booked well in advance and regretted it because we had chosen the activity at the evening park, but the weather was cloudy (so no chance to spot the aurora, but we had counted this) and the park immersed in total darkness and sometimes disturbing. We were greatly surprised and disappointed in fact arrive with the snowmobile in the park and find a pitch black: no lights, torches, decorated trees, NOTHING. The guide, although really nice and easy-going, left us a bit to decide what to do but the atmosphere was bad so everything looked pale. We fed the reindeer but you had to turn with the torch on your head because otherwise you could hardly see them, and being wild animals it is not nice to approach without the place being well lit (you just had to bend or turn in another direction with the torch on your head that you lost the view even sideways). The frozen pond was not clear if it was usable or not for skating, the guide did not check in our presence but simply told us that “maybe it was not thick enough the ice”, so we let it go not to insist (except to see videos the next morning of people skating). To walk the reindeer we had to insist, otherwise we would have spent the whole evening in the tent because the only other feasible thing was the sauna but we were not interested. If you have seen the photos on their instagram, they sell very well: walks in the moonlight, oil lamps that illuminate the paths etc. .. well actually it's all completely dark, they had two oil lamps that they did not use and at my request they tried to turn them on but could not. The park from the photos seems illuminated by a certain light that I thought came from lighting installed on the edges but apparently either there is a full moon (and it is not completely dark the sky) or you will not see absolutely nothing. The only other thing that could be done was sledding but it was not proposed to us as well as, as I said before, the atmosphere was not the best: the guide, although very nice, seemed not to know how to make us pass the time if not eating .. surely it was actually like in the photos maybe we could do things even more independently. At this point the walk in the dark with reindeer was unfortunately not much, the animals did not seem to be very trained to be on a leash (rightly so at this point why put it as an activity? Just to fool people?); one in particular, she even got mad hitting my arm with her hoof without the guide noticing. I didn't say anything because I was a bit embarrassed and because he hadn't done anything to me, but it was very dangerous and the whole thing became more disturbing since you could see little. In the end we spent the time sitting in the tent chatting and eating a couple of sausages and a piece of chocolate; I think we were enjoying talking because we were even more than we should, in this respect I must say that the two guides were really nice guys and we were happy to chat. Unfortunately, however, looking back I have to be honest and, although on a human level it was a good experience, in fact we did nothing and it was completely different from what they sell on instagram! Maybe if you have kids during the day it's not bad to go, but I strongly advise against going in the evening because, unless you find miraculously the climatic conditions in which they take their photos and videos (slylyly I would add), and manage to turn on the lamps, it will not be the least comparable to what you expect. If it was lower the price I would have done well, but for 140€ absolutely not. Again, I am sorry for the very nice guides but people need to realize the reality.
Excellent service and attention, we spent an amazing night together with our Saudi guide niyamlah, did snowmobile, ice skating, sauna and a rich dinner in a beautiful place
