This tour was truly unforgettable. From the start, everything felt magical. The pickup was perfectly organized, and the guides immediately made me and my friend feel comfortable and safe. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire experience. What stood out most was how caring and considerate the guides were, making sure we could fully relax and enjoy every moment. One of the coziest and most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had. The dinner was excellent, and we enjoyed the delicious Finish drink during the time we were sitting in the igloo. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything! I would definitely come back! :)

We chose Guide Farther for our Rovaniemi experience and it was absolutely the right decision. From the start, everything was very well organised — including a comfortable transfer to the location. The igloos are set not far from a lake, which gives a good chance to see the Northern Lights if the weather allows. (Guides do their best to help you to catch the lights) The food was amazing — definitely the best we had in Rovaniemi. What really made the experience stand out were the guides. They are true professionals and took care of everything, so we could just relax and enjoy the evening. We had the quad riding at the end of March — it was so much fun, and at the same time we felt very safe. Helmets and warm overalls were provided. A truly memorable experience — highly recommended!

COMPLETE SCAM AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL We booked this experience hoping for an unforgettable and romantic evening. Instead, it turned into a stressful, rushed, and deeply disappointing ordeal that was absolutely NOT worth the high price we paid. Our igloo was NOT HEATED at all — the windows were frozen and it was freezing cold inside. We clearly saw one other igloo that was visibly heated, which makes this even more unacceptable. It was also NOT busy that evening, so there was absolutely no excuse for the lack of care, attention, or time. They easily could have taken more time to give us the special experience we paid for — but they chose not to. From the moment we arrived, everything felt rushed. We were pushed to eat immediately, the main course arrived almost instantly and was already COLD. We had no time to relax, no time to talk properly, and no time to enjoy the moment together. We did not even manage to take a single photo together inside the igloo — something you would expect from a “romantic” experience. The snowmobile tour was chaotic and poorly organized. There was no proper explanation, no photo stops, and no attempt to look for the Northern Lights, despite favorable conditions shown on the aurora app. Even worse, the snowmobile tour was EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. The guide deliberately led us through deep snow where we nearly tipped over and even tried to send us down a very steep slope, which we rightly refused. In the end, the guide himself admitted that this was dangerous. Driving at speeds of up to 100 km/h is completely irresponsible and put us intentionally at risk. This is shocking and highly unprofessional. After a very short ride, we were sent back to the freezing igloo for dessert and then immediately told to leave and go to the car. Promised hot chocolate suddenly “wasn’t possible anymore.” What makes this situation even worse is what happened afterwards. The company admitted in writing that we did NOT receive the experience we paid for and acknowledged multiple mistakes. Despite this, they offered no compensation whatsoever and eventually stopped responding to our correspondence entirely. We did not sleep after this experience due to stress and frustration. We are not people who complain without reason, but this situation crossed a serious line. This organization is unprofessional, disorganized, and frankly disrespectful. It feels like a pure CASH GRAB. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. You will not get what is promised, and if something goes wrong, they take zero responsibility. Consider yourself warned.

The experience was amazing! Although we weren’t lucky enough to witness the full Aurora Borealis, we did get a glimpse of it, which was still breathtaking. I highly recommend this experience. Everything was fantastic—from the well-organized tour to the knowledgeable guides who made the trip even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was magical, and the journey itself was unforgettable. If you ever get the chance, don’t miss it!

It was a unique experience. Beautiful location, delicious food and exceptional service, from the transfer, to the care at dinner and, in addition, the drive through the snow-covered forest. Our guide (thank You, Ruslav) turned out to be a cultured and kind man who had a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area, the animals that live there and phenomena such as the aurora. It all added up to an unforgettable evening. Thank you for this! We strongly and sincerely recommend this attraction

My mother and I booked this experience during our stay in Rovaniemi to have a different dinner experience than a regular restaurant and it was wonderful! after our wonderful meal we were taking on a snowmobile ride through the forest protected inside of a clear box so that we weren't cold. Afterwards we took a walk on the frozen lake and saw the northern lights and the sky was peppered with stars! I highly recommend this experience especially if you're looking for something romantic. My mother and I joked that probably alot of people would propose in the igloos :)

Fantastic experience. Great food and amazing snowmobile ride. Slightly rushed and wasn’t explained what was happening, the lights weren’t forecast (which of course can’t be controlled) but think it changed the experience and that wasn’t communicated. Snow mobiles for kids was listed but wasn’t offered. Candles are around the igloo and my mums jacket set on fire, terrible accident but one to consider when sitting with lots of candles around. Would recommend for sure.

Kids did not get the mini snow mobile on the frozen lake as stated and promised by the guide to my kids, and we paid a little over $3k for 4 adults and 2 kids. Certainly disappointing esp for the kids

Booked northern light, Igloo dinner and finally ice lake fishing on 1 Jan 25. Can't see the Northern light at 30 Dec, but that is happneing all the time. THe guy promised my 4 kids can have a snowmobile drive on the ice lake on 31 Dec after we finsihed our Igloo Dinner to compensate , but make up another excuse till Jan 1. On Jan 1 , the driver was late for 20 mins to pick up for ice lake fishing , when we complained about this to the driver, the driver was not happy and kicked our family total of 2 adult , 5 kids out of the car and the outside tempertaure is -14c. Be aware of making booking to this company. My family holiday schedule in Rovaniemi was ruined by this company.

From the minute we were picked up we knew we were in for an amazing night. Our guide, Rouselan (sorry if I spelled it incorectly) was wonderful and very informative. We went in early December and luckily had seen the Northern Lights on our first night in Finland. We knew we probably wouldn't see them as it was an overcast evening,, and Rouselan explained this to us. As we pulled up to our locatioin it was truly magical. The igloos were warm and beautiful. While my daughter and I aren't big fish eaters, we tried everything. My husband was thrilled to have what we wouldn't eat, lol. Everything was beautifully presented and explained to us. We then went out on the snowmobiles and had a perfect evening.

This was such a unique experience that our family will always remember. We enjoyed the traditional Lappish food- the salmon in particular was prepared beautifully. I’d highly recommend this tour

Incredibly amazing experience in the first week of April 2024. Katrina and her team made our night unforgettable. Not to mention and according to her, we were able to see one of the most colorful light shows of the season. While we were very late in the season, according to her they were nearly done for the year in a week or so, so we had this entire dream location to ourselves. Katrina also went out of her way to take photos for us, even though they were not necessarily included in the package. Amazing hospitality and the food was delicious with fresh cooked salmon with potatoes, over the stove warm berry juice and a berry cheesecake with a scoop of ice cream. We were a group of 7, but they managed to bring 2 cars which made the 30 minute drive from Santa’s Village much more comfortable. They could have fit us in the 9 seater they had, but instead they went above and beyond our expectations and over delivered. Since it was very late in the season, we were expecting to just go for a cruise on their provided snowmobiles and scooters, which would have topped off the night as we did not plan to see much dancing in the lights. However, the night only got better and will leave memories of a night that will never be forgotten. Thank You! Your kindness made us happy and we felt like you were part of our family!

It was a surreal experience with fabulous views, top notch facilities and Andrei being a fantastic host. His knowledge around history and story telling skills were noticeable. Took special care of our vegetarian meal request and the home made tart was yummy..I would highly recommend.

We booked this tour back in July 2023, they sent us a confirmation email and we were all set for our holiday, then in mid December 2023 (1 week before we flew out) they cancelled our tour. They gave no explanation and only wrote "we are unable to fullfill your reservation that day". I emailed them back asking for the reason and they never replied. We were very much looking forward to this tour and this was incredibly disappointing news. Given that we really wanted to do this experience and they processed our refund, I re-booked the tour on a different date. The website had some dates unavailable and others that were still available. I re-booked and re-paid for the tour on their website and once again got a confirmation email and tickets. However, 1 day later, they cancelled my tour again! This time the excuse they gave was that "we are fully booked". I still don't understand why that date was even available on their website if they were fully booked? Why would it allow me to book and pay if it was fully booked? Admittedly, the company did apologise both times and proceseds my refund, but I was still not impressed. I got my hopes up for this tour twice and I was so disappointed to miss out, especially since we booked nearly 6 months in advanced. It seems as though other customers had a great time on this tour, but unfortunately that was not my experience with this company.

What a great memorable experience! We were picked up at the agreed upon time and taken outside of the city to a wonderfully beautiful area. Dinner was fabulous and Katerina was an amazing host from our drive to the location, to preparing the delicious meal, to trying to watch for the Northern Lights hoping to get a glimpse for us to see. Although it was cloudy and the lights did not cooperate, we had a fantastic time and enjoyed riding the snowscooters around the frozen lake. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I was quite disappointed in this as I had booked the experience for my wedding day but the tour operator cancelled with less than 48h notice without any explanation or offering an alternative. Obviously during high season it was very difficult to find an alternative and this caused a lot of stress. When we called to ask what happened we were told that the glass of the igloo had broken due to snow. I understand that things can happen but would have appreciated if the tour operator would have provided an explanation and at least tried to offer an alternative without us having to chase them for answers. Would not recommend booking with this tour operator.

All was top-level: service, extremely cosy igloo with fire, high quality sausages and salmon, fantastic night snowmobile driving on the frozen lake, including a small snowmobile for children. Children also very happy!

We traveled from the states for a magical Christmas vacation. We tried to pick one of a kind experiences. This for sure fits the bill. Andrew picked us up from our hotel, he was very friendly & professional. He talked to us about Finnish culture & the country, The dinner was a unique experience that we will most likely never have again. After dinner, we drove mini snowmobiles (for the kids) & snow scotters over a frozen lake. It was all very cool. A birthday dinner I won’t forget.

We booked the igloo meal for our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide who picked us up was a great guy, helpful, friendly and knowledgable and the car transfer was very comfortable. The journey to the forest in the dark feels like an adventure in itself and the sight of venue as you arrive is truly beautiful. The igloo was very warm with the fire in the centre and the atmosphere was cosy and peaceful. It was very dark in there, to the point that I had to photograph the food to see what was on the plate so maybe a small light/some fairy lights would help just so you can see what you’re doing. The food was delicious although we didn’t know what the menu was until we arrived. This was fine for us but if you got there and didn’t like fish then you’d be in trouble. After the meal was meant to be snow scooting to find the Northern Lights, but this wasn’t possible due to the lake not being fully frozen into the centre which is fair enough as we were there in Nov which is early in the season, and the Auroras weren’t visible due to clouds - again, no issue as that can’t be controlled. So instead, we and a family who were also there, watched a video in a cabin about the Northern Lights (it felt a bit like something you would be shown on a school trip- not very romantic after the igloo meal) and then were offered a shooting activity. My husband did that and enjoyed it - but again…it wasn’t very romantic. The guide was really nice and we made the most of it but in all honesty, it isn’t something I would have booked if that were in the description. So it was an evening of two halves really - one romantic and unique and the end felt a bit like we were just killing time which also killed the vibe a bit. I felt it would have been better to just offer the meal as a stand alone option for early Season and had a bit more time alone in the igloo and outside by the fire/in the swing.

This was an amazing experience. We were not lucky enough to have weather that allowed us to see the auroras, but it did not dampen the experience at all. Our host was wonderful. The meal was like nothing we have ever experienced before. It was a very special night that we will not forget.

The host was amazing, everything was prepared in advance so we will enjoy every minute, so waiting for nothing. Excellent meal, lovely and romantic glass hut, then we had spare time for Snowmobile riding and plastic reindeer hunting with an air rifle.

First class service! Very nice and very thoughtful! Every wish comes true! True statement to the North Light (Aurora) opportunities. If no good prospects to the Aurora, it is suggested to move the next day! Our clear recommendation, because other service providers, such as Arctic Snowmobile Etc are disastrous!

By far the best experience I ever experienced in Rovaniemi, potentially ever. I contacted them earlier to tell them that I’d be proposing to my girlfriend and they went above and beyond. They arranged an incredible and delicious 3 course dinner of authentic and homemade finish cuisine followed by some champagne. We were inside a fantastically decorated igloo with a cozy fire pit inside to be warm despite the frigid Lapland temperatures. An incredibly romantic experience as they had arranged candles all throughout the walkways and took awesome pictures of us. If I could use one word to describe this experience it would be superb, of the highest quality. Alex and Katia took such fantastic care of us and treated us like family. If I could leave any more stars I would. Do not hesitate to book this. I promise you won’t regret it. Their genuine attention to detail and hospitality will blow you away as personalization of their tours felt instinctive. I cannot wait to return and experience another tour with them!

Very nice experience, with delicious food in the igloo. A fast-paced ride through the snow and absolutely no other tourists. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the Northern Lights and it was also mega cold -26 degrees that evening, but the operators were extremely friendly and always tried to offer us an unforgettable experience.

We booked this evening for the New Year because we had to snowmobile for you the Northern Lights before dining under a bubble. Comments are often subjective, but I insist on writing this one, because there are institutions whose practices must be denounced. "2 broccoli, 2 asparagus, 2 brussels sprouts and a paving stone of salmon" here is our meal for the 31st. the waitress does not know her menu, there are no drinks offered on the menu , we offer you a red wine liqueur for 70 euros (it is the low-end wine that is found at 7 euros in the nearby supermarket. ) the problem is not that the meal, it is mainly the attitude of the staff, it was New Year's Eve and the staff was present to party (surely) we were pressed from the moment we arrived, we do not snowmobile but go-karting on a track of 100 meters, so to make you wait because the table is not ready. when you are at the table, the waitress brings the dishes without clearing the old plates (we had it for her) you must eat your dessert in 2 minutes (I am not kidding ) because they take you on a lake 50 meters to see a fireworks (the boxes that are found at tobacco for 30 euros) I ask if I can finish my dessert after the fireworks (of 1 minute 50) and they answer "but you must go now" I am surprised but the staff replies that it is the evening is over! no toilet either when we ask! in short we paid 235 euros per person to eat raw vegetables, in an atmosphere where we were pressed and lied about the activities. They receive the people at the chain, we will have spent less than 2 hours on site making us understand that at 7:45 p.m. it is late, and that we must go home. SCAM! the or plenty of establishments go to the trouble of doing things right, this one does not respect tourists.

We felt really well treated already before the trip, when you called and asked if we wanted a later departure, as there would be better opportunity to see the northern lights. We booked this activity as a family with young children. Our guide had to be French. After 40 minutes of delay, our guide arrived, a pure Finn. Suffice to say that the dialogue was complicated. We asked for a commercial gesture since it was not possible to have a French-speaking guide as initially planned. Negative response. The simplistic meal with minimalist portions. Given the late hour we weren't able to snowmobile anymore. I do not recommend at all. There are other, much more serious French-speaking providers.

Andrew was great! He was very accommodating and always looked after us and catered to our needs. The menu is already pictured here - we thought it was very good. After dinner, you had the opportunity to ride a scooter or snowmobile - of course you can't compare that to specially booked tours, but to have done it once or to get a first feel for it, it's more than enough. Overall, we would do it again or recommend it to others.

Everything was luxurious from the moment they passed by us, arriving at the place was a very pleasant surprise the quality of Service, the dinner so delicious and being able to use the snowmobiles (at no additional cost and with the special costumes for that weather). We didn't see the Northern Lights because it was cloudy but that's nature. The experience is worth it because you see or do not see the aurora, you will enjoy an unforgettable night.
