Kyle may not realize it, but I know my mind will return to this evening again and again: his incredible blueberry soup, the bonfire on the frozen lake where we shared stories and moments from our lives, and the incredibly soft and warm reindeer skin in the beautiful hut he built: a detail that truly makes a difference 😂. The laughter, skiing through the forest, the sound of silence in the woods, and then… the breathtaking aurora experienced together. This is not just an activity, it’s a truly authentic, human, and unforgettable experience. Thank you for such a special gift: I will carry it with me in my heart and mind for as long as I can 😅😂❤️

Our experience night skiing with Kyle was hands-down the highlight of our Rovaniemi trip. It was just my friend and I on the experience, and by the end of the night it really felt like we were all old friends. Kyle's passion for showcasing the beautiful scenery via nighttime skiing was palpable; he prepared us for the skiing with handwarmers and gloves, showed us how to use the skis, went skiing at a slow pace (I had never been on skis before), and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. However, Kyle's enthusiasm also extended far beyond the skiing portion. He prepared a fire for us to warm up afterwards, brought us special vegetarian food and drink, and even warmed up the car for us at the end. I cannot recommend Kyle enough for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you again Kyle! We'll definitely be back.

I tried the tour with Kyle in the daytime twice this year already, I loved it so much that I wanted to try the night time tour as well. I made one of the best decisions of my life. The tour was amazing, a whole new experience in the dark. Kyle was helpful throughout the tour of course and also gave us some sausages at the end. Best thing you can do in Lapland!!

The cross-country skiing tour with Kyle was simply incredible. We had a fantastic time in the Finnish forests with a wonderful tour guide who is so passionate and enthusiastic about his job, nature, and sharing the beauty of silence with us. The three of us went on a private tour from shelter to shelter. Despite our skiing experience, we would say that even beginners could easily manage this tour. We finished with a campfire where we enjoyed sausages and hot blueberry juice. As absolute nature lovers, we highly recommend this tour, as it isn't like all the other tours on offer, which are overly touristy and rushed through, but rather presents Finland with genuine passion and authenticity.

Just an absolute wonderful experience. My husband and I did the night time trek, and it was the best part of our whole trip! It was just us and Kyle, and Kyle really tailored the walk to what fit us best. He had stops along the way with small surprises, and at the very end he really surprised us! I don’t want to give anything away! :) All the small things he did were very much appreciated. He took AMAZING pictures for us so that we didn't have to worry with our phones. Everyone visiting Rovaniemi should book this once in a lifetime adventure!

Our group took this night ski tour during solar storm and we managed to see the most amazing northern lights. Kyle is a very skilled tour guide, and took many pictures for us. It was dark in the forest, but we had lamps, felt safe and well taken care of! Really once in a lifetime kind of experience. Thank you!

Kyle (the tour guide) is knowledgeable, fun, and super nice; he teaches how to ski kindly and patiently, and you can also learn Finnish culture and Finnish style of enjoying nature from him. I believe if you join this tour, it will be the most memorable night you spent in Rovaniemi, no matter if you see the northern light or not.

We started by gliding through a dense, then clear forest, surrounded by silence, except for the sound of our skis on fresh snow. The path eventually opened into wide, snowy landscapes, offering breathtaking views and a true sense of freedom. Kyle was an amazing guide, always suggesting multiple itineraries suited to our level. As we reached the lake, what a surprise—it was the perfect moment to witness the northern lights dancing above, a half moon glowing, and a sky full of stars. Truly magical! We ended the night by a fire on Kyle’s private beach, enjoying sausage and blueberry juice. The warmth of the fire and the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect finish. We had a wonderful time with Kyle. He is a very friendly and accommodating person, he was responsive to our requests and we had a fantastic tour. The ski tour through the forest was beautiful and the weather was perfect so we could see the Northern Lights. We weren't expecting it and that's why it was an incredible experience. We sat by the fire for a long time and told each other stories. There was hot blueberry overserved and reindeer sausage. Thank you Kyle, for this unique night.

We had an truly amazing private ski expedition with Kyle, the owner of Arctic Fox Expeditions. Kyle was very attentive and caring when teaching us the way to master the skis, starting from pure beginners to being able to powder through untouched snowy landscapes. Kyle reached out before the tour to give us useful information on the activity, picked us up from the city centre and drove to his property, briefed us on the technique before starting the adventure. We skied throughout the day, seeing the sunset, arriving at the nearby lake, before circling back to the ranch wearing headlamps in the dark, where we were served homemade blueberry juice in a campfire overlooking the lake. The timing also meant we saw glimpse of the Northern Lights, as an bonus to the trip. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone who wants to experience the nature without going very far, an exciting excursion towards untouched areas. The additional drone footage Kyle provided after the tour was astonishing as well, capturing the entire forest and us in action, truly memorable!

We booked the Nocturnal Skiing Tour quite spotaneously and Kyle picked us up in Rovaniemi. After a quick explanation of the ski we started the tour in the beautiful forest and on the frozen lake. He frequently checked in on us and we could choose to take a break or continue for a longer track. Kyle explained a lot about Finnish nature, culture and his way of living. We highly recommend to do the tour at night, it was a very special and peaceful atmosphere with lots of goodies and motivation from Kyle. He really loves his job and wants you to have the time of your life, we had a blast. In the end we had some food and drinks at his fire pit and even got to say hi to two cute reindeers.

Kyle was a consummate professional from start to finish. He checked the forecast and offered to change me to a daytime tour since Northern Lights were unlikely (though I kept the nighttime tour). He picked me up and dropped me off at my accommodations and ensured I was aware ahead of time of any gear I needed to have (and what gear he would have). He was personable, accommodating and very patient (my first time trying cross-country skiing!). The scenery was incredible, and Kyle went out of his way to include certain touches to make the tour unique and ensure that I enjoyed myself. Definitely recommend!!

Our guide Kyle was great at supporting everyone no matter their experience, making sure everyone had a great time. The landscape is beautiful in Lapland!

This was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives! An amazing ride next to the Norvajärvi lake to see the northern lights listening to incredible stories about Finnish people and history. We tried for the first time reindeer sausages (typical finnish food) with a special mustard. It was good! Kyle is kind and friendly. We are very grateful to have met him!!!

This was an amazing weekend trip and experience. We had a cap fire surround by a brick wall built out of ice. First time tasting hot Blueberry tea and reindeer Sausages.🤗🤗 Seeing the beautiful stars and Northan light and learning about the culture and history of Finland.😍 Would definitely Recommend going on this trip.🤗 Tried to add my photos I took but didn't work.

What an amazing trip! Was so lucky to experience the northern lights and even more lucky with Kyle as the guide. He was extremely attentive, caring and informative about Finland and knew the history and culture of this beautiful country inside out. There was a campfire where we had the most delicious blueberry hot tea and I roasted my own reindeer sausage over the fire (also delicious). We could see the northern lights in the distance and noticed how they moved around as the night went on. 10/10 and would highly recommend as most other groups have large numbers and this fry very personalised.

An incredible experience, a guide at the top. We had the chance to do a beautiful ski course in the forest and on the frozen lake and we could see aurora borealis. Everything was perfect. I recommend 100%! This is the best way to visit and discover the magic of Lapland

Halusin irtiottoa arjesta ja päätin kokeilla jotain aivan uutta. Kylen retki tarjosi upeat puitteet keskelle rauhallisinta Lapin luontoa jossa vain hiljaisuus oli läsnä. Opastus oli ensiluokkaista ja Kyle kertoi retkemme aikana paljon ympärillämme olevasta Lapin luonnosta ja näytti mm. mustikka paikan josta oli kerännyt marjat retkellä tarjottuun mustikkamehuun. Retkellä unohtui arjen huolet kun pääsimme hiihtelemään koskemattomia hankia. Aivan fantastista!🤩 Retkemme aikana ilta hämärtyi ja maaginen kuu vain valaisi matkaamme kunnes saavuimme järven rannalla olevalla laavulle jossa Kyle paistoi avotulella poromakkaroita jotka olivat todella maukkaita. Kaiken kaikkiaan aivan käsittämättömän upea kokemus Lapin luonnossa, kiitos Kyle!❤️
