Up to 10 racers can drive once, sliding and drifting through sharp turns and daring straights where every corner brings a new thrill. The unpredictable, slippery surface guarantees wild fun and a true test of your driving instincts. Your journey begins at the Lapland Winter Park reception, where you’ll suit up and get briefed for the quest ahead. After safety instructions and equipment fitting, it’s time to conquer the ice - with aproximately 30 minutes of driving! These karts may look familiar, but their studded tires are built for an icy grip, letting you carve and drift through the track. Whether you’re chasing glory or a first-timer seeking a new challenge, ice karting is your ticket to an unforgettable winter escapade. To join the action, you must be at least 150 cm (4.9 ft) tall. Please dress warmly and for the nature of motorsports (potential fuel smells and dirt), outerwear is not provided.
This was one of my favorite experiences in Finland - I would go back again just to do this! The combination of racing, speeding, drifting, and 360 spin outs equaled pure joy. This is a must do for anyone who has ever wanted to live out a Mario Kart fantasy. I didn’t take any photos or videos while driving because I was having too much fun!!!

Felt I had to write a review to reflect the excellent experience we had ice karting at Lapland Winter Park this weekend. Lots of choices for ice karting in and around Rovaniemi but LWP had a lot more availability and flexible times than anywhere else.It was also the best price. We booked for our last day in Rovaniemi and drove there by car. Our family loved the ice karting and the two guys operating the karting were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure it was an excellent experience for everyone taking part. Our 7 year old had to sit it out as we knew when booking he would not be tall enough and he was happy to watch but one of the guys offered to take him out on a cart for a couple of laps to include him in the fun. Very very kind gesture and was extremely appreciated. We fed reindeers here too and the park has a really nice coffee shop. Unfortunately that was all we had time for but snowmobiles, skiing, sledding and skating were available also. Well done Lapland Winter Park !

It was a great fun to try to drive on snow/iced track. Not crowded, warmed up carts and enough time to get tired of it))). So all perfect and I was faster than my wife by 4 laps)

We had so much fun with our team in Lapland Winter Park with karting. It wasn't so easy, than you think. If you think, now I can handle this car, if you think, you can drive, you are suddenly going wrong way. You should try this!
It was a wonderful afternoon in the new park. We went ice karting and got to enjoy the versatile sauna offer. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The evening lighting was really great. I recommend it if you are vacationing in Rovaniemi or nearby.

We stayed in the chalets of Lapland Winter Park for 4 nights. The accommodation is new, very nice and welcoming. Defects: the bathroom does not have a shower tray, and therefore floods totally, and there is little room for boots and bulky clothing. The staff is very friendly and always available to assist with any need. The buffet food is of good quality and - to keep in mind for celiacs - offers plenty of gluten free options. The space dedicated to sports activities is mainly oriented to children, but the ice-karting rink is very fun, even for adults. Overall, a place definitely to recommend!

Super great experience. Brief briefing from a very nice Guid. Then it was already on the slopes. 30min. are completely sufficient, it is so cold and the slope very frozen

It is suggested that you can go karting for an hour, in reality 20 minutes, after advertising ring it is indicated that they use 30 minutes to hand out a helmet, which is done in 3 minutes

The amusement park is located about 15-20 minutes from Rovaniemi and there is a free bus that takes you there. The location is really very nice, surrounded by snowy nature and there are several activities to choose from, such as karting, cross-country skiing, sauna etc. We tried to drive a kart on the ice track and it was great fun! They provide you with helmet and useful driving information. Very nice and helpful staff. There is also a bar-restaurant where you can drink, eat and dry your clothes in front of a nice hot fire. Recommended!
