We had such a great time ice floating! Alex and the lovely lady who picked us up were both super friendly, fun, and helpful. They shared lots of interesting information, made sure we were comfortable, and kept us laughing throughout the experience. They really made the whole activity even more special. Definitely one of our favorite memories from Lapland! Highly recommend! ❤️

This was the only “must have” for my trip to Finland and it did not disappoint. The experience was so unique and relaxing, I just wanted to sleep for the rest of the day. Our guide was Dany and he’s my favorite person of my entire trip. Dany - thank you so much for your kindness and humor, for making my mom & I feel so welcome. Hope to meet again someday in Romania! 🧀

It was amazing so much fun. It was much cooler than I expected. I was very cold however. Make sure to wear thermals, thick socks and gloves to keep your feet and hands warm.

Wet enjoyable morning. Guide was great and reassuring. Suits were well maintained and clean. It was a surreal experience bobbing around near the ice in a freezing river. Not as cold as you would imagine and perfect if you are not brave enough for ice plunges or cold swimming! The pictures are hilarious when you are in your suit!

• Extremely rude and dismissive driver (Brandon) and unhelpful office staff • We were forced into the cramped back row of an otherwise empty vehicle for no valid reason • Our reasonable compromise (one person front, one back) was refused — later the office suggested the exact same solution after making us get out • I am tall and my knees were pressed into the seat in front; the adjustable middle row was not moved at all • I have video evidence of the lack of space, during which the driver responded with sarcastic smiling rather than addressing the issue • Staff claimed they had “no time to waste,” yet handled the situation in the most inefficient way possible Very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience with zero concern for customer comfort. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this company. As a person of colour, I personally did not feel respected or welcome and would advise other travellers of colour to consider alternatives.

It was a nice difference experience and the guides Victor and Santiago are very professional and very friendly

It was a nice activity and interesting to float in a semi-iced lake. The suits are good and allow you to be in the water for extended period of time. Most of us went out after about half an hour. Our guide was excellent. We received the photos immediately the next day after requesting them by sending an email as instructed by our guide.

Our friends took a girls trip to Finland and decided to include the ice floating in our itinerary. We didn’t know what to expect and had more fun than we realized we would. Santiago and the guys were so helpful in providing instructions and making everyone feel comfortable. I’m also glad they were able to take photos and videos so that we had memories of such a good time!

It was so fun activity! pick up was perfect and instruction in the water was also clear. I floated around 30 minutes and it was little cold but enjoyable

Everything that it is promised! The scenery is stunning, the arrangements first rate and a very supportive guide. The whole experience is very zen like - as you float about in the cold calm waters while marvelling nature.

It was an interesting and great experience floating on the ice cold water. Staff were really knowledgeable and helpful.

Brandon picked us up at the designated spot and drive us to a beautiful lakeside cabin. We were fitted for our suits and taken out to the lake to float. Brandon made sure we had plenty of photos, and the float was so relaxing and serene. Following the float we had some N/A glogi and ginger cookies, while Brandon shared fun stories about the northern lights. This was truly an incredibly unique experience and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves!

unique experience. brought to a frozen lake, changed into rescue suit, then floated freely as we wished. guide on the shore helped to take pictures. most of us floated for 30 mins then left the water. they served hot juice and cookies, and talked a bit about the landscape nearby

the experience was liberating. I was slightly afraid that i might panic in the water bue to past open water swim experience but the floatation suit is so buoyant that i felt very safe throughout the experience. Brendan is also a gem that add more value to the experience

Wow! It was a fantastic experience to float in the Arctic ice lake. Victor and Nordic Adventures crew made it possible. They were welcoming, sincere and nice people.

Absolutely loved the experience! Brandan and Mattia were wonderful guides and hosts, super knowledgeable! The activity itself is amazing must-do! Its easy to float with the suits on so can do this even if you cant swim well.

What an amazing experience we had! Alex was our guide who guided us through the floating experience. He was with us throughout the process. We were picked up from our hotel and then welcomed by his beautiful wife who too helped us get into the floating suit and walk us till the lake. We were briefed in detail, covered all the safety aspect and then was ready to float. You could float on the lake till your heart desire, absolutely no rush. Breathtaking place, so serene, Snowy landscape, just felt magical! They helped us take lots of pictures. Later after the float we were treated with some hot Finnish Glogi juice with cinnamon cookies. It was a small group so we had lots of fun with personal attention to all. I would recommend this to all if you are looking for some quite and magical experience to experience nature in a different way.

This was such a fun experience - one of our favourite activities during our whole trip! We were picked up exactly on time from Rovaniemi, and the minibus took us to the delightful cabin next to the beautiful frozen lake. We were given lots of opportunities to take photos, and getting into the survival suits was a hilarious experience. Brandon was a fantastic guide, very informative, helpful, fun and friendly - we warmed to him immediately, and felt very comfortable exchanging some banter. The ice float itself was brilliant, only a certain amount of people are in the group at a time so it wasn't too crowded in the water, and being able to just float on your back like an otter was simultaneously relaxing and so hilarious. It felt completely safe, and as long as you've worn warm clothes, you don't feel the cold much at all. Afterwards, we were given cookies and hot juice to warm up in the cabin, and the vibes were cosy and chill. 100% would recommend this activity if you're in Rovaniemi!

It was a good experience. You cannot stay too much in the water as after some time you will start to feel the cold

I have some mixed reviews about this tour. Our guide, Jaco, was a bit blunt and did not speak much to us about the place and the area, apart from instructions on when going in and out of the water. It was like he was in a bad mood. Apart from that, the ice floating was a unique experience however it gets a bit monotonous after a while. I could be a bit biased on this as I had done the finnish sauna and lake dip the day before. I would also suggest maybe the tour company gets the guides their own camera and takes photos of people, even when they are in the water, not just when going into the lake, and then share them with the group after the tour via email.

My ice lake floating adventure with Jaco was exhilarating! Safety thermal suits in place, Jaco guided us through a fun and secure ice breaking experience. Unlike the Icebreaker Cruise Tour, this activity focused solely on ice floating, saving time and money without the need for a cruise or certificate. Highly recommended for an unforgettable adventure on the ice!

So much fun! Great way to experience a cold plunge without the cold part. You wear a dry suit and stay warm and dry the entire time. Guides are very helpful and get you in and out of the suit and take photos while in the water. Warm drinks and cookies afterward!

Had a great time - a really unique experience. Suits kept you warm and floating around was very relaxing. It would've been great if guides could've taken photos and put them online for everyone to share.

We had a great time , beautiful place, our guide Brandon was amazing he explained to us very detailed and was very concerned about our safety, the cabin was very clean the suits were clean , they offered us some juice and cookies delicious.. Overall it’s a must to do , loved it !!!!

This experience was so unique and fun!! You will not get wet at all and the suits keep you warm while floating. You float on a pond in the middle of the woods and there is a cute log cabin where you will change and get cookies and hot golgi after. Overall a great time!

This tour was so much fun. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. I booked this tour a little over a month before my trip, I was excited about it and it didn't disappoint. So happy with everything about it.

What a good time. The tour leader was wonderful, full of information about Finland and very welcoming. Would book another tour with this company just because of how exceptional the guide was. The activity itself was great, but I think other people were surprised that you can still get a chill from the water - the suit keeps 98% of the cold away, but you still have to move your fingers and toes. I felt very comfortable and safe - the guide was very attentive to make sure it stayed that way.
