Bus Tour With Hunting Northern Lights

We went to Finland as a group of 33 people and did a number of tours with NUT. This one in particular with led by Juan and was very well handled. Expectations were set with advisement that chances may not be excellent to see the light that particular evening. We were given flexibility to drive a bit further in order to increase our chances. Juan explained the scientific process of how and when one can see the lights, and I found him very knowledgeable. We did manage to see the lightly fainty in the background through the camera. Juan kept in touch to inform us that the chances were better on another evening, and he was right! We ended up finishing our tour on a high note thanks to NUT and Juan.

Lovely experience, and very well organised, guides were lovely and very informative and lots food for bbq.

I recently participated in the "Bus Tour with Hunting Northern Lights" in Rovaniemi, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour was exceptionally well-organized; our guides, Irene and Pierre, selected optimal locations for viewing the aurora borealis, ensuring we had the best chance to witness this natural wonder. After the viewing, they took us to a warm, comfortable setting where they provided insightful information about the aurora borealis, enhancing our understanding and appreciation. Their assistance with photography was invaluable, helping us capture stunning images of the lights. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a comprehensive and enjoyable northern lights experience. Ioana

Excelent tour. We had a traditional barbeque. And got to see the Auroras. The guides very friendly. The food was great. They even showed us how to set the cameras to get the best photos.

The tour was great. We went to a spot outside the city and fortunately we were lucky to see Northen Lights. The guides, especially Maria, was really friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. The food served was an advantage. Thank you :)

Our guide Maria was really friendly and well informed about the aurora. She made sure that everyone was having a good time and was available to answer questions. The guides started a fire and we were offered worm berry juice, soup and marshmallows, we also grilled sausages. We were lucky to catch the northen lights and took some amazing photos! Highly recommend.

We bought the tour to see the Northern Lights in Rovaniemi. It was our worst choice. They were almost two hours late leaving and we ended up missing the aurora show. They made a barbecue with a very poor quality sausage. We paid for the tour with photos included and we didn't receive any. I don't recommend the company.

Guide Antoinette was very diligent and helpful. While it was quite cold, her knowledge and enthusiasm were so evident. After no sighting at first stop , she drove to a second where we were fortunate to see the lights in the horizon. Main reason to come. Satisfied. Enjoyed talking to her in Dutch too.

Don’t book the Auroras Hunting Tour with them. They will do the tour even if it’s impossible to see auroras that night (they know it before the activity due to the weather forecast) just to take advantage of the tourists money. Carlos, our guide, was very nice and did everything possible but it was 100% cloudy that night so he couldn’t do anything from the beggining. We even stopped with a van of the same agency that couldn’t see anything like us. If the weather forecast is 100% coulds and you know it from the begging, the logical thing to do would have been to rearange the tour to other day and not to do it anyway just to take our money. So dissapointing.

The tour was very misleading, they just dropped us in a place and gave us food and did not try to even educate us at all regarding the lights or change locations. Completely disrespectful towards all these people who spent all this money. Zero effort. I regret spending money on this tour. Extremely dissapponting

Our entire interaction with Nordic Travels has left a sour taste, and I would have given 0 if I could. (Tour guide himself was great but the experience with this company was disappointing to say the least) Our disappointment began when we inquired about the possibility of rescheduling our tour due to anticipated bad weather. We were told that they would get back to us after checking the availability for alternative dates. Unfortunately, we never received the promised callback, forcing us to initiate two follow-up calls to obtain a response. When they responded, they offered us a 50% discount on the next tour if we proceeded with the initially scheduled one, despite our concerns about the weather. Reluctantly, we agreed to attend the tour, hoping for a positive experience. However, the tour turned out to be far from enjoyable due to unfavourable weather conditions. After the tour, we approached the staff to book another tour as the weather had indeed impacted our experience. To our shock, they denied ever making the 50% discount offer and insisted on full payment for the additional tour. We were appalled by this sudden change in stance, especially considering we have all of our call history documenting their initial commitment. This inconsistency in communication and failure to honour their own offer has left us feeling deceived and taken advantage of as customers.

Erik and other team members were amazing. The knowledge and stories they told were amazing. We didn't manage to see the lights, due to the wear, but the experience was once in a lifetime.

My family and I booked this tour and our guide, Antonella, took us in 3 different locations just to see the nothern lights because that day it was cloudy and snowing. Finally we could see them. Thank you Antonella.

The tour was great and despite of it being cloudy most of the time our guide Victor managed to find the Northern Lights for us to see! He was highly entertaining and during the evening told us a lot of interesting fun facts about Finland. Highly recommend the tour and him as the guide!

Amy was nice she brought us cookies and blueberry tea but we didn’t have luck! We found lots of clouds and couldn’t see anything :(

We booked the aurora tour with huskies, they had not snowed for 1 week, and we were warned 5 minutes before the activity that we could not do it because of the lack of snow. They let us book the aurora bus tour for the same day 3h later, only to get there, see that the guide does not say our name, and when we approach the counter tell us that it is full and we cannot go. On top of booking us an already full tour, they had not even the slightest descent to warn us. All this obviously without asking for forgiveness, or offering us anything for the inconvenience. Embarrassing.

Oh, bad. Company has no responsibility with schedule and does not hunt for dawn, in addition to charging for photo and not to take. In addition, they did not inform that the tour would be in a bus and with several people. The day we went to see the dawn for the first time, we only saw it while we were on the bus and they didn't stop to take advantage of the moment. They just make the stop at the place that they have a tent and, that is not the best place for viewing. We had to hire another company to see the beauty of dawn. We do not recommend this company in any way.

Pas d aurore boréale le temps ne s y prêtait pas mais l activité a été maintenue malgré tout On a juste roulé pendant 3h avec 2 pauses aux endroits où il y a souvent des aurores boréales

I just got back from our trip to Lapland, I booked all the activities with Nordic Unique Travel, we did this one in particular with Nikki. They picked us up in a van and we went along with 2 other vans to hunt for the aurora. Nikki, a charming, professional, explained to us the phenomenon of the Aurora and got us to see it by changing location. In addition, she and Martí froze their hands taking all the possible photos. Very nice. It's nice to see young people so decisive and helpful. Thank you very much for the experience.

Bonjour, nous avons fait l’excursion à la recherche des Aurores boréales le 28/12. Il y a eu aucune Aurore Boréales ce soir la. L’agence aurait du annuler l’excursion au moins 1 heure avant le départ car nous avons payé d’avance la sortie. J’aimerais bien avoir un dédommagement.

Superbe activité quand on a des enfants ! Notre guide Alberto a tout mis en oeuvre pour que nous passions une soirée inoubliable ! Je recommande chaudement !
