We had an amazing time with Lapland X Tours! Our guide was really friendly, and we got a lot of wonderful pictures of the Northern Lights, also with ourselves. We were with 8 tourists in total, and the guide picked a perfect cloud-free location to view the sky. The tour took around 4-5 hours. We got a nice warm drink and some snacks during the tour, and in the end got dropped off again at our airbnb.

Such an amazing experience! I’ve always dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights, but I never imagined it would be something so spectacular. Leif was super friendly and attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and knows so much about it. Throughout the tour, he explained so many things to us, both while we were waiting for the Northern Lights and even while we were watching them. He even showed us the Moon through a telescope! He also created such a great atmosphere within the group. We laughed a lot and had so much fun throughout the whole experience. He also did everything he could to find the best conditions to see the auroras (the cloud forecast that day was terrible!), and still managed to find the perfect time and place where the sky cleared up. The result was absolutely spectacular! Definitely one of the best experiences of my trip to Lapland. I 100% recommend it! 💚🩷

Absolutely incredible experience and our highlight of our trip definitely a must book! Our guide was amazing he was so knowledgeable about the Aurora and you could tell how much he loves what he does, he went out of his way to give us the best possible chance of seeing the lights even driving us all the way to Sweden for clear skies. And he was incredible at tracking it he could tell you where the Aurora was in the sky before we could see it, with his own eyes, and there it was and loved educating us around how it works too. We loved the experience so much that we booked with him for 2 nights and both nights were such an experience But what made it even better was seeing how excited he still gets when the lights appear even with seeing it all the time he was more excited than we were when it came out! Really made the whole experience feel personal and not just another tour. I could not recommend this tour enough and unforgettable experience and absolutely worth it!

Found LaplandXTour on Instagram while searching for a hunt that truly focuses on chasing the lights, rather than just a standard sightseeing trip and large tour group. The week we arrived in Rovaniemi, it was snowy and cloudy, and honestly our hopes were quite low. We reached out to the guide (Lattif) beforehand and really appreciated how responsive he was. He helped us manage our expectations, reminding us that the Northern Lights are ultimately dependent on the weather and forecast. That honesty meant a lot to us and made us feel we were in good hands. Our guide, Lattif, was communicative and clearly passionate on what he does. He shared interesting insights and how to track the Northern lights. When the lights were not clear at the first location, he went the extra mile to bring us to a second spot without hesitation. We joined two families, making it a cosy group of eight, which felt just nice and personal. It turned out to be such an amazing and unforgettable experience. We are truly glad we booked this tour and would recommend it to friends.

Couldn’t recommend LxT any more highly. There are 70 or so companies to book tours in Rovaniemi, which gave pause when we were organising our trip there. But this was one of the choices we made correctly. The guide (liv/lief? Sorry!) was communicative, passionate about giving interesting information, very conscious of weather and keeping people safe. The tour was appropriately sized, and well worth the money.

We had an absolutely amazing Northern Lights tour! We were so lucky , we could already see the lights after just a 30-minute drive. It was truly magical. We did this tour with kids, and it was perfect for families. The owner himself guided our tour, and he was incredibly kind and friendly. He really went above and beyond for us. After we saw the Northern Lights the first time, he could have simply taken us back home, but instead he drove us to four different spots so we could enjoy different views of the lights. Each location was beautiful and unique. He also took wonderful photos of our family, which made the experience even more special. On top of that, he shared so much interesting information about the Northern Lights , you can tell he really knows and loves what he does. He even offered to take us to another location, but we chose to head home instead. He was so patient and thoughtful the entire time. I truly, truly recommend this tour. It was an unforgettable experience! ✨

We have a good and experience guide, Mr Leaf, a young gentleman from Helsinki. We stop at different location to let us see Aurora. One location, we can see the great Aurora in a distance. One location Northern light just above us. Great photos taken

Would thoroughly recommend this tour. The pick up time was changed to maximise our chance of seeing the Northern lights. We knew from the weather forecasts that there was a very slim chance of seeing them. Our guide drove all the way to Levi, which was very interesting in itself, but alas the clouds had rolled in. On the way back, he kept checking the sky and the apps and then suddenly stopped the van and shouted for us to get out asap and then lo and behold there they were ! We only saw them briefly but we saw them ! Hope to return one day and see them again with Lapland X Tours.

It was really beautiful our tour guide did everything to find the best spot. Eaven if it was very cold -25..He care about as keep the car on so will be warm. We could jump to the car and worm our self if we were cold.We been in few spots.I really recommend

My sister and I were on a Northern Lights tour and we were very happy with our experience. They contacted us a day before our booking as the forecast was better for that day, and we felt very well taken care of in minus 20 degree weather. We would highly recommend them and would definitely repeat this experience when my child is older!

The tour was amazing, Leiv sent out of his way to allow us to see the northern Lights since the Weather was really foggy. He find a place where we were all alone, the sky was clear, and we had the chance to see northern lights dancing. Plus we had the chance to be just us on the tour, and that was really pleasant. LaplandxTours have great passion for what they do. Great communication - reached out to us a few days in advance to see if we could move our booking a night earlier as the chances were higher to see the lights and we were delighted we did as it was an amazing show. Denis was very friendly, polite and great at his job! Pick up and drop off to accommodation was really convenient. Mini van was warm and comfortable with a group of 8 of us. Denis took lots of photos of us, great quality and received the next day via WhatsApp. Loved being able to learn more about the northern lights and Rovaniemi and he helped us keep warm by playing a game / warm juice / keeping the van running for us if we needed a break. We were lucky we did not need to travel far only a few minutes to a frozen lake and the lights were visible straight away however we did not feel rushed to leave and made another stop off on the way back to accommodation drop offs for more photos.

Our experience with Lapland X Tours was great ! Our guide, Leiv was really good providing us info about the auroras and how they track them. There was a heavy snow storm and it was also very cloudy on the day we had the tour planned, but Leiv made sure that we got to see the northern lights by taking us almost 300 km towards the north of Finland. He kept checking for clear skies throughout the journey in search of the northern lights. We were also picked up and dropped at our accommodation which made the whole experience very comfortable. WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! We absolutely loved this tour and our guide and our entire night. We really worked hard to find the best guide and we read tons of reviews and in the end we are so happy we went with Lapland X Tours. Our guide connected with us ahead of time and he had been watching the weather and letting us know there was going to be a lot of aurora activity and it really got us excited. Then he picked us up right from our Airbnb in a very clean and comfortable van and then we were off! We went all the way to Sweden and wow was it worth it, as we saw such beautiful auroras! Along the way he kept us informed and educated us a lot and his English was perfect and he had other great tips on the Lapland area. He was kind and courteous. We brought our kids and he handled them so well and was very respectful. He even had a few different snack options and some nice hot tea. His camera was great too! We LOVE all the pictures he captured for us. Our guide was truly exceptional — he picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us back safely afterwards, making everything super easy and comfortable for us. He drove us 4 hours north so we could finally catch the Northern Lights, and thanks to his dedication we witnessed an unforgettable show in the sky. Throughout the drive he explained everything with so much knowledge and passion, and he even offered us hot tea and local sweets — such a warm touch on a freezing night. The best tour ever. The guide was exceptionally kind. The first time we were unable to see them, but on the second attempt we did, thanks to his goodwill. It is also very convenient that they provide hotel pick-up and drop-off.

The tour was great, he called us to start earlier since It was a better timing, he drove all around always explaining what he was doing and giving info about culture and weather. You can easily undestrand how much passion and will he put in his job, he Is having fun doing It and taking you around, thant makes everything even better. We were able to see many different kind of aurora, what else to say, satisfyed and warmly recommended, great.

Probably one of the best tour guides on the planet, he worked incredibly hard to find the northern lights which we saw and they were magical, we got some professional photos done with the experience. Value for money is really unbeatable, but that's not even the best thing about this tour. Booked it super last minute and as a last resort, after one weather cancellation and one terrible experience with another company, and it turned out to be the only tour I needed to book to make my trip to Rovaniemi truly that much more memorable. Communication with the company was seamless throughout, pickup at the hotel was extremely punctual, and the tour guide Latif was very dedicated to making sure we got to see the Northern Lights. The drive was informative and fun, he took us to a great quiet and secluded location where we managed to see the Aurora in shy bursts at first but then in full glory, he would stop along the drive back to make sure we got to experience her as much as possible, as she kept travelling with us and dancing in the sky :) I never felt rushed despite the late hours, and he took great photos which he then shared quickly within less than 12hours. All in all - a fantastic experience of seeing the Aurora for the first time, made even better by the service. Would absolutely recommend and will book again when back in Rovaniemi.

This tour was amazing. Our guide started us early because he could tell when the solar storm was starting. We had an incredible experience with a fantastic company. I would recommend and do it again.

I went on the Northern Lights Photography Tour by Minivan & Guaranteed. It was a small group. The minivan was very clean and comfortable. The representative of the travel agency, Latif was polite and extremely helpful. The pick up was on the dot. We stopped in several spots along the northwestern part of Rovaniemi. During all the trip we got some interesting informations regarding the Aurora Borealis and the region. When the northern lights did appear, Latif was taking wonderful photos of everyone as he is a great photographer. I highly recommend Lapland X Tours and especially Latif, as a great option for your trips while in Rovaniemi.

The tour guide is quite professional and he has no fixed locations for the tour. He is quite nimble and constantly on the move to various locations that could potentially maximise the chances of viewing the auroras. He also checks in on the customers during the trip to ensure that their welfare are taken care of. During the night of viewing the lights, they were initially quite weak but the tour guide was understanding and extended the tour slightly in hopes of being able to see the lights with our naked eyes, which we eventually did during the extended time.

The tour was wonderful. Even days prior to the tour date, Lapland X Tours kept me advised as to the weather and therefore probability of seeing the auroras. On the night of the tour, the minivan driver allowed for picking up guests at various locations. The group itself was very quaint, only 8 people and the driver. Prior to leaving, the driver explained in detail the science behind aurora sightings, using various apps, live camera feeds, etc. He also explained the possible locations at which we might see to include borders with Sweden, Norway, At the first stop, while waiting for the aurora to appear, the driver pointed out to us as the lights were forming, so that we could see what to look out for. He assisted with camera adjustments, set-up and settings. He also explained the difference between seeing the aurora in person, compared to what is shown on a photo. This is why settings on cameras are important. In the end, we went to three different locations, and we all were able to take wonderful photos, even with mobile phone cameras. Highly satisfied!

This was the most amazing experience! We were lucky to have quite a clear night to see the breathtaking Aurora as well as the stars and the Milky Way. Our guide was knowledgeable not only about the Aurora and where to go for the best views, but also about some local Lapland history and sites. It was also very clear from the beginning that the group’s experience was of the utmost importance. The photos turned out amazingly and we were even guided on how to use our phones to capture the best pictures. The bonus tea and biscuits and warmth by fire really topped it all off. My wife and myself visited Rovaniemi for the Northern Lights. We were lucky enough to book with Lapland X Tours. Lateef (our guide) was extremely friendly and helpful. He recommended that we change our day in the hopes of finding a better chance of finding the lights, which we did because we had the time to do so. We spent roughly 4 hours of chasing and finding. We had so much fun, and learned a lot about the Northern Lights. Lateef kept checking weather conditions and other sights to confirm where to head out and to find the best cloud-free sky’s. The views where amazing! Latif is a really nice guy, who trys everything to see the best aurora ever!! It was a nice and small group and Latif can do high quality pictures of everyone. Everyone can get some hot drinks and snacks in the end.

Lattif picked me up from my accommodation. Gave me a great explanation about the region and he drove to the best spots to capture the beauty of the Auroras. He offered hot drinks and delicatessen local pastries and chocolates. The best night of my life even at minus 21C. I'll be back next year for sure!
