We stayed for 2 nights on our way up. A very nice little apartment with everything we needed. What usually catches our eye when we stay somewhere is cleanliness. And this was excellent in this apartment. Since we traveled outside the season, the environment was of course quieter than in the season. This tranquility suited us very well.
The man, who now cannot be without a sauna, praised the small sauna in the apartment as excellent.
He said that it was the best sauna in that category he had ever been to.
Our Labrador also seemed happy with everything. So in all respects, this Ski in Rukatonttu, a 43 square meter apartment, was a successful choice for accommodation.
Efficient, nothing extra. Four can sleep well, but a bit tight for living. Ski-inn service worked great. The village is 600m uphill, so it's close but not suitable if you want to walk between the cabin and the center, for example in the summer. There are not many parking spaces in the village. These apartments have their own place in the house's field.
The TV and mini fridge in the hotel room were broken, the socket was completely disconnected from the wall. The sauna was so full of people from outside the hotel that as a hotel resident you had to go to your own room to shower. Half of the showers on the men's side were broken. The dishes at breakfast were in poor condition, really dirty. The staff could not be reached anywhere. I cannot recommend it until the standard is improved.
this place was very nice. they had really nice touches like robes and slippers. unfortunately our room was right across from the men’s sauna and smelled accordingly. the shower was big, nice view out the window, a hole in the ice in case you want to take a polar plunge! the breakfast was a nice spread. the fireplace in the restaurant is cozy. it is ski in/out but if you need rentals you have to drive about 5 minutes. the t lift goes from the hotel parking lot but closes before the resort (we got stuck at the bottom with our rentals and had to walk back up the mountain :( )
