Our Family had a brilliant stay at Hotel Hullu Poro! From the moment we arrived, the receptionists were incredibly nice and made us feel welcome immediately. The accommodation was perfect, we had an entire flat to ourselves, and the layout worked seamlessly for all 8 of us. Having our own private sauna in the apartment was a huge highlight after a long day on the slopes. We absolutely loved skiing in Levi and couldn't have asked for a better home base. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lapland!

Rooms are pretty old and felt very 1990s…. The rugs felt quite dirty, no bedroom slippers provided, towels are also not changed daily. Quite a spread for breakfast buffet but felt like reheated food. Plus point - the room came with a drying heated cabinet which was extremely useful to dry our skiing gear/clothes.
The hotel is nice in general, offers good breakfast and sauna and jacuzzi area access, ski and luggage room. It's a bit old and dependent what room they give you it may be a snowmobile parking view and noisy.
Location and service great. Rooms need to be a bit modernised. We stayed in two rooms. First room had a drying cabinet (very important for Lapland in winter) but the second room that was expensive had no drying cabinet and the hair dryer was old and broken. Breakfast buffet had same things every day for 6 mornings, no diversity :( Room build feels old. Overall for the money we paid, it was okay.
I recently stayed at the Crazy Reindeer hotel and while the location is fantastic, the hotel itself left much to be desired. **Location**: The highlight of our stay was definitely the location. It's conveniently situated within walking distance to shops and excellent restaurants. I highly recommend checking out Pizza de Levi, Colorado, and Old Mates (a British pub) for some fantastic food and great service. **Room Quality**: Our room featured two single beds and a sofa bed, which we didn’t need since it was just my partner and me. Unfortunately, the room had a persistent drain smell that was quite unpleasant. The shower pressure was oddly strong, but there was no shower head, making it difficult to use comfortably. Additionally, the advertised sauna was only open from 5 PM to 9 PM and could accommodate a maximum of four people, which was disappointing. **Service**: The check-in process was less than ideal. The reception area was busy, and we were informed that check-in was not until 4 PM. Upon arrival, the staff didn’t provide an explanation of the hotel’s offerings or where to find amenities, which would have been helpful. **Food**: One of the major drawbacks was the food. The buffet was mostly cold and tasted like reheated leftovers, which was disappointing given the price point of the hotel. In addition to this you had to pay for drinks, this is something we have never had to do with it being all inclusive. **Value for Money**: Overall, I don't feel that the Crazy Reindeer offers good value for money. The hotel feels very dated and is in dire need of renovation. In summary, while the location is a major plus, there are significant areas for improvement in terms of room quality, service, and food. I hope the management takes note of these issues for future guests.
