Design Hotel Levi

The best hotel in Levi. Lovely and comfortable rooms, excellent Premium breakfast!!

A very pleasant and welcoming place for accommodation. the rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The management of this hotel has zero ethics or empathy whatsoever, I had a booking for a hefty amount for more than a month however due to airport closures in the middle east due to war I could not go to the trip still the hotel refused to refund noting that the airport closures are all documented and all over the media. I recommend everyone to not go there and i will make sure all the tourist groups and friends not to stay in this hotel when they visit finland. I have been sending emails but no reply!

all tho the location of this hotel was very good i would not set this as a 5-star hotel. my family and i often stay at luxury hotels and were expecting a lot more. good points first. the staff was very nice and i had a beautiful room with an even better view. the breakfast was very nice and had a great selection. so why only 3 stars? there was no possibility to make a reservation at the fine dining restaurant throughout our stay. we were forced to eat out. second big point for me was the spa. there was no spa what so ever. with you’re booking you were provided free access to the levi water world. to go there you had to go outside and walk about 100-150meters in the cold. with wet hair this was not nice at all. the levi water world only had one sauna that wasn’t even warm and in a very loud location. it seemed as it was more of a kids swimming pool than a place to relax. it was dirty and in no good shape so if you are looking for a spa this is not your hotel. back in the hotel i had a very nice room since i was given the corner room with a lot of space and two big windows. the other booked room was a lot smaller but still nice and high quality. the cleaners came everyday and things like coffee fresh towels a bathrope and slippers were also provided. the issue with the room was the storage. there simply was none. you had one around 50cm long clothing rack which fit as much as you’re jackets. you could only place you’re clothes on the floor which for me with the big room was no issue but in the smaller room you had not so much space left. if you go here to ski be aware that you are not provided a place to put your ski boots so they stay cold and aren’t warm and soft so you can put them on easy. there is a small room that the staff gives you access to where you can put your ski and poles. there is no bench or something similar where it would be comfortable to put your shoes on. we simply had the issue that we could not reserve a depot at zero point so we always had to carry the skis from the lift to the hotel. it’s no big issue but be aware that it is quite the walk with heavy ski and a slippery ground while having ski boots on. i want to point out that this is still a very nice hotel and probably one of the best in levi but for that high price it did not fulfill my expectations.
