The hotel rooms are tight for space, but it is in a city. The corridors were very dark as painted black. The food snd staff were great.

My mother, sister and I stayed here in our quest to see the Northern Lights. The room was very comfortable - we even had our own sauna! - the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast superb. We ate dinner at the restaurant both nights we stayed in Rovaniemi and enjoyed both meals. I would highly recommend Artic City Hotel.

Super friendly reception staff and an amazing breakfast. The room was clean but definitely on the smaller side, so I was debating between a 4 and 5-star rating. For one night was the room fine.

Very good stay in the heart of Rovaniemi We had a great stay at Arctic City Hotel. The location is perfect — right in the centre of Rovaniemi, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and main attractions, which made everything super convenient, especially with a child. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and comfortable, and overall it felt like a really good base for exploring Lapland. The food was implacable. Christmas Eve we met Santa in the hotel and they organise dropping of presents with them so then Santa can give out to children. A memory to treasure. The only small point I’d mention is that the room could benefit from a bit more attention to cleanliness, particularly in some of the finer details. Nothing major, but it would definitely push the experience from very good to excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay
