Mo was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, professional and nice person. We had a lot of fun, and definitely recommend him for a different type tour inv Rotterdam.

Itinerary
Before the Second World War there was no Central Station, but there were four stations around the center. In 1957, the central station was opened at its current location. In 2004 a total renovation of the central station was started, in 2014 the current end result was delivered. The old station could no longer cope with the passenger influx.
In 2011, the municipality of Rotterdam organized the first city initiative, an administrative instrument to stimulate administrative innovation and citizen participation. The inhabitants of Rotterdam were called upon to submit projects that would bring about the enlivening of the city and improve the quality of life in the city. An amount of 4 million has been set aside from the city initiative to implement the project.
In the Middle Ages, one of the 10 city gates that Rotterdam had here. In the 30s, the city of Rotterdam grew rapidly and the gate stood in the way, as they wanted a better flow for the increasing traffic. It was decided to move the gate about 100 meters (a demolition of the gate met with a lot of resistance). During the bombardment in the Second World War, the gate was severely damaged, a year after the bombing the gate was demolished, because it could no longer be finished. Some ornamental works from the old gate were saved and incorporated into the walls of the buildings on the corner of the town hall square.
The town hall was built between 1914 and 1920 (by Henri Evers) and is one of the few buildings in the center of Rotterdam that survived the bombardment of May 14, 1940.
Currently, the meent is one of the hotspots in Rotterdam. There are many cafés, eateries and clothing shops. In the 90s, the meent was a street where mainly temporary employment and travel agencies were located, the meent was an atmosphereless street with a lot of vacancy. Robin von Weiler is no stranger to Rotterdam. He owes his nickname Mr. Meent to everything he has done for this street and still does.
The laurenskerk is the only remnant of the medieval center of Rotterdam. The laurenskerk is a cross between a hall church (all buildings equal in height) and a cruciform basilica (here the side towers are lower than the main tower). The church was built between 1449 and 1525.
Modern complex with a covered market and several restaurants under an arch of apartments.
In the 70s of the 20th century, architects wanted to create hospitable residential areas with the participation of the residents and other users in response to the large-scale and a gray modernism of the architecture of the reconstruction after WWII. Piet Blom, structuralist and adept of Aldo van Eyck, assumed that large-scale buildings had to be built to the size of people by building them from small-scale recognizable elements. The basic idea, that the building is built on columns, so that the space under the buildings can remain public, is inspired by Le Corbusier

Both Mo and Saad were amazing on our tour! Lots of knowledge about Rotterdam and took us to all of the old sites that were still standing! Very friendly! Book this tour, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Different way to experience Rotterdam! I loved it! Izzy was my guide; he was very knowledgeable about the city.
Mo was really great. Friendly, a real local that was excited to share his life and experience growing up in Rotterdam. Being down with the other bikes was a thrilling experience and really gave us the authentic experience you don't get pering down from a bus window. And when he was able to drive us through the busy Sat markets and show us his fav stalls, it showed how locals really do live..no parking and trapsing by foot and getting lost. It was nice to be one on one too and ask about things like rental prices and why this was like that etc. well worth the money....I'll never forget watching the bridge close as the motorcyclists lined up to race across the bridge...luckily I was in the cycle lane...it was like having a front row seat to F1. Go with Mo...there's my plug Mo. 😂😅😂😅😂😅😆😁😄😃😀
Great experience to see some of the city before heading out on a cruise. Mo our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Izzi was great. He loves Rotterdam and knew so much about the history and showed us the highlights! Fun to be on a bike with so many others on bikes. Beautiful weather, too. Highly recommend.
Great way to get to the city center and learn about Rotterdam. Izzy was friendly and very informative about his city. I highly recommend!
Izzy was an awesome tour guide! He obviously loves Rotterdam and her history and it rubs off on you as he shows you around. He made Rotterdam feel like a community of caring individuals instead of a large unfeeling city. I would definitely recommend the pedicab tour for everyone!
It was a good overview of Rotterdam but it could have been longer. I think we saw most of the significant sites.
We only had a short time to see the city and this pedicab tour was perfect! An overview of Rotterdam.
We had to cancel at the very last minute...we had double booked ourselves. The operator was very kind and offered a ride next time we're in town We didnt request a refund of course.
This was a wonderful tour. As we had already visited Rotterdam on another vacation, we wanted to see and hear about some different and unusual sights. Our guide surely made that happen. He told us many interesting stories and we were very pleased with this tour! P.S. He did take a picture of us and promised to text it to us but I have not received it yet. I forget his name but he is studying medicine at the University and we would love to have the picture
Fun way to see Rotterdam! Izzy & Saad were excellent guides, very knowledgeable about the city— took us to all the highlights and a few “secret” places
Was amazing tour, the guid and the tour was amazing, very well explained the history of the city and each site enough time to wach and explain, amazing experience and worth every penny
Izzy was a great tour guide. This was our first visit to Rotterdam. Izzy reached out to me after booking to see what we wanted to see on our tour. He picked us up at our hotel, gave us the history of Rotterdam and showed us the sights around the City Center. Definitely would recommend this, especially if you have never been to Rotterdam.
We were supposed to take this tour (and had paid), but 15 minutes before the tour, they called and wanted to delay it by 30 minutes due to a summer festival (we booked this months ago and the summer festival was something planned for months that they knew was occurring). Since it was afternoon, we could not delay, as we were on a cruise ship. We were willing to go late, but they said they could not guarantee we would be back by the time we needed to return to the ship. I asked if they could refund the money; they stated that we would have to check with customer service. They asked what we wanted to do; we said we would have to cancel if they could not guarantee we would be back on time. Now, they are saying we lied, that they did offer the original time (they did not - my husband heard the conversation), and the person I was talking with refuses to refund our money (over $150 - there was no other "customer service" person). I would not trust booking with them again, which is too bad since we will be back again in a few months.
Very relaxed, fun & interesting covering a relatively small area of central Rotterdam. Someone younger than I am might have enjoyed doing it as a walking tour. Guide Izzy was fun and informative.
We absolutely loved the tour. Mo was very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. His presentation kept us involved and interested. Definitely recommend this tour.
Izzy was great with communication prior to our tour and the day of. We were picked up right in front of the cruise port and dropped there as well after the tour which was super convenient. Izzy has a real passion for what he does. He showed us some off-the-beaten path sites and shared lots of interesting information about Rotterdam. He has great energy and a good vibe. Would definitely book again!
Our driver, Mo, was enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We learned much about Rotterdam and it's history visiting the historic area. The unique architectural buildings were fascinating. This was a very enjoyable experience on an electric pedicab. Highly recommend.
The Pedicap tour in Rotterdam was definitely the highlight of my trip! I booked it last minute, and the whole process was quick and easy. Ismael was a fantastic guide and shared so much interesting information about the city. In just 30 minutes, I got to know Rotterdam much better and learned things I would never have discovered on my own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rotterdam. It’s a fun, informative, and memorable experience! Thnx Izzy!
This tour was a great way to see the highlights in Bruges. Our guide was local, friendly, and informative.
Izzy was excellent. Incredible knowledge base. We happened to book this trip on a Wednesday and were told by Izzy that there is a gentlemen who takes a bull horn every Wednesday at noon and announces between church bell rings that “ it is never to late to say … sorry. It was unbelievable to see. Saw cube houses guys surfing and wave canal. Good meal. Rotterdam is an excellent city and the tour showed us that. Really glad we did the tour. Wish it was longer.
Izzy did a fantastic job on conveying his knowledge and love of the city during our rickshaw tour of the city. He took us places off the beaten path in addition to the highlights of the city It was a great ride and fun tour of Rotterdam.
A friend and I wanted an introduction to the main sights and information about Rotterdam. But we were tired of walking so decided to try the pedicab tour. It was a great decision. Communication with tour leader Iggy was prompt and efficient via WhatsApp. Despite the unpredictable Dutch weather the your was a really enjoyable way to get an overview with good commentary by local guide Iggy who seemed to know every corner and nook of the city. Highly recommended!
Excellent tour...very informative interesting and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this experience.
Izzy was an awesome tour guide filled with much information. He took great pictures of us during the tour, which was very appreciated. We know more about Rotterdam. Izzy is very passionate about his city. We had a great time with Izzy.
Great orientation to Rotterdam or for those with limited time. Izzy was a great guide pointing out some spots I would not have found on my own. He had a good recap of the history of Rotterdam too.
Izzy was a fantastic guide. History and context mixed, so we saw the landmark and understood why it was built or what the architect intended. This was a wonderful overview of this pretty city.
Our Pedicab guide Izzy was knowledgeable, Enthusiastic and a pleasure to be with. He pointed out sites we would never see on our own
A really fun way of seeing the City of Rotterdam. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was very smart and his English perfect. The Rickshaw was also very clean and modern.
Had a wonderful tour with Izzy today. He was so knowledgeable and so pleasant. Would recommend this tour and Izzy to anyone visiting Rotterdam. Thanks Izzy
Izzy was a great tour guide and I would have given 5 stars except... there were items mentioned in the tour that did not happen...water, snacks, tour was 60 minutes, not upto 90, etc. Paid $149+ for 2 people. Is that a fair price point?
Izzy was informative, animated and extremely knowledgeable! His energy was fantastic.
Awesome! Izzy was personable and knowledgeable. Made sure to tailor to our preferences. Best way to get oriented and to learn background. Made great recommendations for us for later. Made us want to explore Rotterdam further. Don’t miss this and ask for Izzy as your guide.
Saad was great - a perfect way to get introduced to the city. He was very knowledgeable about Rotterdam.
Great to get round to see Rotterdams sights, guide was very personable and very informative. We didn’t want a round trip so we were dropped off at cube houses and the guide sent me details on how to return to our ship.
Ismail, has Excellent knowledge of city's history and very pleasant character.... definitely worth it to ask for him as your guide
Ismael was an exceptional tour guide—very knowledgeable and passionate about Rotterdam’s history and culture. He explained the city’s story with great enthusiasm and insight, making every stop engaging and memorable. He thoughtfully planned the tour timing so we could visit key museums before they closed and took us to several iconic sights. His love for the city truly shows in the way he shares it. Highly recommended!
Great experience traveling like a native in the bike path with a wonderful guide that pointed out and explained the highlights of Rotterdam.
We had a great guide and a great tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Rotterdam and told us some great “fun n facts”, a definite must do when in Rotterdam!!
Izzy was a great tour guide. Provide a lot of information about Rotterdam and its history. His tour hit all of the highlights that we had on our list. Highly recommend his tour to others.
We suggest this experience for any and everyone! We arrived in Rotterdam after an overnight flight and took this excursion an hour after checking in to our hotel. This tour was rejuvenating, educational and so much fun! Izzy was a wonderful guide and gave us a memorable taste of Rotterdam for the short time we were going to be in the city!!
We were expecting it to last two hours. It finished in 75 minutes. Driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Over priced for a little over one hour.
Great city tour for those who only have a few hours in Rotterdam. Our guide WBA’s very knowledgeable about the history and landmarks of the city. The price was very fair and below what I would have expected for a tour of this caliber.
Outstanding! Izzy was on time/even early, at the Central Train Station to meet us. This is a unique way to tour & learn the history of Rotterdam. We LIKE doing this exciting tour option.
Izzy the guide is so passionate and knowledgeable guiding and educating us from the central station to the City Hall and other significant parts of Rotterdam city in relations to history to its current days. An enriching & fun experience and Izzy helped take so many nice photos for us to keep the fond memory. Very pleasantly surprised and not your ordinary rickshaw ride!
My cruise ship arrived at 1 pm. My reservation was at 12 noon. They canceled our tour and offered a tour the next day. I explained we were departing the same day and had to be back on the ship at 6:30 pm. They offered a 6 pm tour. When I explained that won't work, they informed viator they wont refund my money. My husband is handicapped and that's why I selected this tour.
Our guide Izzie was fabulous. He had a great knowledge of the history of Rotterdam and the rebuilding of the city after the war.
A really great tour . If you just in and out city with layover or limited time this is a great one hour tour.
