Poor condition of rooms . Like others reviewers noted. I entered and saw mildew on the walls , cracks in the walls and floors . Filthy beds and a floor heating that didn’t work at all. Besides that an elevator that was according to staff already weeks broken and no fix in sight yet … I stayed here 12 years ago and it was nice and chique but since then no maintenance at all . The design television was broken , the design kitchen was heavily damaged and worn out . It was a dump , really sad to see. Do not waste your money on this place you will regret it . I was offered another alartment by staff but this was a smaller room and had also mildew on the walls and was heavily abused during the years , so not much difference to my actual apartment. According to staff low maintenance and water damage in many rooms. They are not to blame , it’s an owner thing I guess .

Stayed here on a recent trip to Rotterdam and it was awful. The only thing that this hotel has got going for it is its location. It’s really central and there’s a lot in the area around it to enjoy. The views from the rooms are also quite spectacular. Because it’s so busy in the area with all the shops and bars and restaurants, it’s always noisy. Even inside the room, with the sliding floor closed and the only one tiny semi-working window closed, it was still impossible to ignore the constant tram screeching and street noise. The room itself was an absolute disaster! Cracked floors and walls everywhere, chipped paint and mould all over. The curtains and bedding are dusty and for the some reason the toilet was smelling like fish during our entire stay. We had to keep the door closed at all times. It was disgusting. There’s aircon units on the walls but don’t expect them to work. They don’t. One morning I wanted to use the oven to cook breakfast. As soon as I turned it on there were blue sparks flying everywhere inside and within seconds I turned it off again. Entirely unsafe to use! Half the lights in the rooms don’t switch on and the furniture is old and well-used with lots of scuff marks and really worn down areas. There’s oddly coloured marks on sheets, towels, curtains and even the rugs. The staff are not a friendly bunch, so don’t expect a greeting at any time. In fact, they pretend they don’t see you when you are lucky enough to encounter a member of staff in the lift or lobby. I’ve saved the worst for last - bedbugs. Both of us during our stay started getting lots of bite marks all over our bodies, especially during the night, waking each morning with even more bites. Very itchy and really red. I could not wait to get out of this place! It was one of the worst hotel rooms in terms of hygiene and cleanliness that I’ve ever stayed in. Never again! It’s really so sad because it’s located in a great spot and it’s not cheap to stay here but what its selling on its website and what you’re getting upon arrival are not the same thing. The place is in desperate need of some urgent tender loving care and proper hygienic practices. Do your research well before booking a room here!
Came for the Rotterdam Carnival this was my 1st Solo trip. I felt safe which was the main thing. Right in the heart of central Rotterdam. High street Shops and food basically outside. Great views. Apartment was very spaces with balcony area very big. Free WiFi and self catering. The only upset is the upkeep. Needs updating and a deep clean has Curtains was Dirty I mean I don't want to look at something and wonder what is that when drawing the blinds. TV bring your own device. Shower head limescale and black mold in areas. To be fair. The apartment was clean. The bed was very comfortable had mod cons such has dishwasher self catering appliances coffee maker and kettle, could have done with a microwave. But had a stove and oven. I would recommend and probably stay again, don't forget to have an extra €200 deposit which you get back after you leave for damages. All and all a good Apart-Hotel.
I WOULD LEAVE 0 if I could! Avoid wasting your money and time. Location was the only good thing about this place. The rooms are very dated, beds are 2 single beds joint together and uncomfortable, there is no AC. The receptionists are rude and unhelpful. Only one of them was nice enough to offer us a room a change as the underfloor heating was on the whole time we were there and no air conditioning meant that the room was reaching unbelievable temperatures. How can an apparent modern apartment have no AC in 2026. Everything looks dirty. The shower and toilet is so outdated. Our room were not cleaned once we were there. Do not waste your time and money guys! They’ll say that you haven’t paid £1000 like other guests so you don’t deserve the service like some other guests did lol. Won’t even give you a fan so you boil to death.
The floors sported cracks, the ceilings peeled, and turning knobs a game of chance. Either the knob comes off, or it doesn't perform its basic function. The broken toilet seat drops you during your most delicate moments, and nothing is adjusted or maintained well. The rooms are spacious, but lacking in anything colorful or homelike. Sterile, concrete, decrepit, with little to show for style or substance. Excessive use of "negative space". The policy for the staff is summed up with one word: hostile. They do not want you there. Don't consider anything a service, you invade their space with your presence. If possible, evade at all cost. Especially do NOT ask questions that require computing power over the abilities of a 5 year old. The location is excellent, it is easy to get away from the place.
