Hilton Rotterdam

Brilliant hotel We are a family of 5 and had to book 2 rooms but we got an interconnecting room and had so much space. Location upon arrival looked worrying but in actuality was superb, so central with many amenities and shops close by. Amazing city and would definitely recommend for a city break.

It was good, but the rooms, elevators and such are now dated. Especially for a 5 star hotel, also was not impressed by the gym equipment for it being a 5 star hotel in Rotterdam. The staff was very nice and helpful, had incident twice in our room because of our own wrong doing and were both times rapid to resolve it. They also had a nice bed for our little girl and the breakfast options were very good!

After over 17 hours of air travel and layovers, and a shuttle ride from Schipol to Rotterdam, my wife and I, exhausted, arrived at the Hilton Rotterdam in the morning. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. It took them only an hour to provide us with a room that they prioritized to get prepared for us. Later while we took dinner in the hotel restaurant, wait staff were prompt and very helpful in providing us with our order that was delicious and well prepared.

Nice room on 10th floor. Clean, good condition. Fridge. Nespresso machine. Room safe. Nice glass walk-in shower with rain head plus wand. Good city view. Good AC. Quiet. Great service from housekeeping and front desk. Good restaurant/bar onsite. Good location near Centraal station. Only detractors, and these are minor in my opinion, are the faint-but-audible elevator windlass noise feeding through the concrete (doubt this would be heard anywhere below 10th floor), and the weak flushing action of the toilet.
