Some of the rooms are renovated, others are not. Be careful when booking as they use the pictures of both without clarifying anything and the difference can be stark. Pay special attention when they 'upgrade' you, as this can for example move you to an old family room, instead of the nicer renovated suite.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com for €55. When I arrived, I was told by the hotel that there had been an error with the price and that the room actually cost more. I was charged an additional €41. I only accepted to pay because I had just arrived, it was late, and I did not want to be left without a place to stay that night. The room was not properly clean. The bathroom had stains that appeared to be blood and urine, and the tiles were dirty. I asked for a refund about one hour after checking in, but unfortunately nothing was refunded or resolved. Instead, I was offered a bigger room, which I appreciated, although this did not address the refund I had requested. The new room was cleaner, although it was still not pristine. The bed was also very comfortable, which was definitely a positive. That said, the staff were genuinely polite. From the reception team to the cleaners, everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated being offered a different room. However, I would not consider this a 4-star hotel. Honestly, I am not even sure it meets the standard I would expect from a 3-star hotel. I appreciated their friendly attitude, but the pricing issue, the condition of the first room, and the overall experience were disappointing.
Booked with only one day in advance. The price was decent. The location is good , few stations away from the Centre and with easy access to Metro. The area is… just witnessed a live restrain and arrest of a young offender by the police. Maybe it was just an isolated incident. The staff was great, thank you! The room was fantastic, one of the best showers I’ve had, great bed, clean and nice smelling room. The annoying thing was the noise on the corridor which was constant, almost all night. The restaurant was ok, the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, not bad though! Overall it was a good stay at a decent price. Thank you!
Hotel was good location near the metro line/ station and conveniently within walking distance of shopping mall and other shops. Restaurants in the hotel was great too and lovely as well as lots of seating area in the reception. Some staff were very friendly and always on hand to assist. Although, they got one of our rooms requirements wrong, they quickly setup an alternative plus free upgrade.
Conveniently located near the Maashaven station, this is a very nice hotel, everyone was nice and welcoming at the front desk. Also it is just a walking distance to the cruise port. The hotel itself seems very modern and minimalist. There is a separate sitting area overlooking the train station. My partner wasn't feeling good one day and we didn't need the room cleaned and three personnel asked me if we needed anything and to make sure we're comfortable. That was a nice touch. Food at the restaurant was great, we enjoyed a few meals there. Our waitress on the day (Wednesday, April 8) of our arrival was very cheerful and nice. I notice they don't really tell you their name. There was a water heater for tea or instant coffee in the room. There was a big closet to hang your clothes and cabinets to store them. The downside: very slow internet connection, no facial tissue or body lotion provided, we had to pay for ice for my knee. I guess ice is not very in demand in European countries. The breakfast was for €20 per person which I think is pretty high but I'm sure they do that for convenience. The remote control was so dirty it was caked in crud. I get that they don't look for that when cleaning the room. It's good we have wipes for cleaning it. Overall, our stay was very nice.
