We Had An Absolute Blast. We are both in our 60’s and we’re a little concerned that we were biting off more than we could chew, by previously booking the VIP Experience (All four runs). But the moment we got there we were met by the Awesome Staff , checked in, and we were off to our first run. Riding in the Zorb was one of the best outdoor thrill rides we have done in a long time. Before we got in the staff put us both at ease by explaining the experience we were about to encounter, and let me tell you it was so much fun. And sitting in the available hot tubs between runs was a really nice perk. We Highly Recommend Zorb on your visit to Rotorua!!!!…Totally fun for All😍

This was my second Zorb experience (14 years apart) but first for my 79 year old cousin. While we had a great time with the experience, we were very disappointed that the Zorb team no longer take photos, as per my previous time. We were offered the chance to buy a water proof pouch to take our own photos/videos, which we each purchased. This is great for people that are adept at taking selfies, but not so great for someone getting up there in years. At the end of our run, I asked the staff member assisting us out of the Zorb if he could take our photo while we were still inside by using my phone, to be told they weren't allowed to. Very disappointing to come away with no photo of the two of us to remember the day.

My wife and I are in our mid forties. This was such a fun experience. Even when the day was cold. I laughed so hard I got a stitch! The staff were lovely and the activity was set up so well so you are always warm even when in between waiting for your next turn.

This was the highlight of our Rotorua stay- our family (2 adults and 3 kids 9 to 13) did the 2 tracks for $95 and kind of wish we had done them all! I guess it’s something to be looking forward to when we go back to NZ next time. Lots of belly laughs, some water up our noses and overall a fantastic time. It was a bit cool but the mini bus taking everyone up the hill had heating, hot tubs available on the hills while we waited for our turn and also on the bottom in between zorbing. Highly recommend it, will certainly go back.

I was going to book the 4 track/T-shirt combo but we had done Kerosene Creek earlier that same day and this was the end of a busy 3 wk vacation so the 2 track option was a good choice for us. Very intense! They do a great job of keeping you warm via hot tubs and a warm transport van.

Very expensive, we didn't do it with the kids as it was going to cost us $500 for the 4. Just the kids did it but it was still very expensive for the time they actually spent. Kids finished the activity in 25mins and then they were bored.

Bad experience from the reception staff, came with family with lot of expectations but because of the rude behavior of the reception staff we cancelled and drive back home .

It's a worse customer service I received. Their guys are f....k. we all travel from too far. They asked physical id from us f...ks

So so so much fun. I think the four package would be the way to go as we only chose one run and then we all decided we definitely wanted to do more. Fantastic activity for any physical level. We had from eight year-old up to a preteen teenager and even a 45-year-old Mom. Absolutely outstanding and the guy taking you up in the van was fantastic.

So fun! We had a blast rolling down the hill in the Zorb and loved being able to stay warm in the hot tubs in between rides.

So fun and memorable! The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and welcoming! We all loved the zorbing experience (adults and kids) and were laughing all the way down the hill!

Our ZORBing experience was amazingly fun! I went with my family of 6 including 3 children and a senior citizen. We didnt know what to expect until we started rolling downhill. It was a truly fun family activity! What a way to remember NZ 🥰

I had so much fun! I really enjoyed rolling down the hill in the ZORB. They have the system well worked out: a place to change, driving you up the hill, a hot tub to sit in when you’re done… It is well organized, safe, and really fun! I laughed the whole way down the hill.

We had prebooked and were actually running late for our allotted time (too mesmerized by everything in Taupo!) but I emailed them to let them know and it wasn't a problem.

Zorbing was very fun, I do believe it would be better to lower the prices a bit more and have a few more vans to transport people but overall it was fun, Do watch yourself when diving into the zorb with friends and family so you don't smash your head into their knee

Absolutely great fun! First timers & we loved it! The pricing is great definitely worth it! Go with atleast a mate or a few mates for maximum fun! They have a sauna & hot pools aswell so youll stay warm. Absolutely great hospititality staff are lovely!! Overall we love the zorbs! Super great fun highly reccomend for everyone!!

Super fun experience. Even though it was winter they try to minimize the cold with saunas , hot tubs and heaters . And the cold didn’t take the fun away. We had the MEGA and the SWING tracks. The Mega is the largest and fastest and steepest one. So much fun but it is fast. You should book more than 1 track if you wanna have a great fun. But it is worthy.

From arrival to departure we felt welcome and looked after. The kids (14 & 5 years old) were taken care of and kept warm between rides and had a blast going down the tracks of their choice both alone and together. While I stayed below watching from the sheltered viewing area with great heating on the chilly morning. Even had the option of buying a hot drink while there. Such a great idea having the spas and sauna available. Would definitely go again, and highly recommend it to others

Something not to miss! Laughing the whole way down. Went when it was only 60F but they have hot tubs at the top and bottom and warm water in the balls

Our 3 oldest children did 3 Zorb rides together and they all had an absolutely blast! Staff were polite and helpful. The kids could sit in the sauna or spa between rides and it was a quiet day, so the the wait times weren’t long. It is one of the more expensive activities we did, but great memories for the kids!

Super fun activity a must do if you are in Rotura

We had an amazing experience at ZORB Rotorua! We booked the VIP package, which included a T-shirt and four rides, and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. They even allowed us to check in early, which was extremely helpful and appreciated. The rides were such a blast and definitely perfect for adventure and thrill seekers visiting Rotorua. It was a chilly day, so the jacuzzis afterward were an excellent touch and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something fun, unique, and unforgettable!

exhilarating rolls downhill. Safe, fun, screams amid laughter. Hot tubs to keep warm in between rolls downhill was a nice touch but overall the changing facilities are very lacking, especially in slightly chilly weather.

It was such a fun experience. I was laughing the whole time. So unique and a beautiful location. The hot tubs were a nice touch also. You definitely get moved around a lot but none of us felt sick.

My husband and I were traveling near Rotorua and made a wrong turn. We ended up in the Zorb parking lot and decided it looked like fun. The staff was so nice and friendly! Zorbing is a BLAST and I would highly recommended it as a fun and unique activity!!!

Friendly staff, always an extremely fun and exciting ride down the hill, clean and everything you need for changing before and after. The hot tub is a nice touch at the end. I do remember years ago the guy who tipped us out was a happy, energetic, fun guy but this time and the time before was not like that, I missed that. And no photo opportunity even to buy. I think a go-pro or something like it, add-on would be a great idea. But we always make a special trip to Rotorua to do the Zorb so we will definitely be going back next time we're in NZ!! Highly recommend!!

Had a blast! My 75 year old sister, my husband and I went down twice. Once on the straight hill and once on the one that bounced back and forth. Totally made for a fun day. If we ever make it back to New Zealand it will be a tour we do again. Don't miss it!

Short and over priced, staff seemed kinda bored

So stinkin’ fun! Family of four (60, 61, 22, 24 years old) and we laughed all the way down the hill. Very well run organization, felt totally safe. Bring a GoPro if you have it so you can show friends what it’s like because it’s hard to describe. We did the 2-ride package - probably would have done 3 if we had to do it again. Definitely a tick on the bucket list!

OMG Zorb was sooo fun. You think it will be rough but it isn't my son (9) and myself (42) went together and it was a highlight of our NZ trip! Take swimwear as the Zorb has a little bit of water in it so you glide, plus there are hot tubs at the bottom to relax in between rides. It's exhilarating!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at ZORB Rotorua! It was so much fun from start to finish, and the whole activity was incredibly well organized. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time. Rolling down the hill inside the ZORB ball was an unforgettable thrill—full of laughter and excitement the entire way down. It’s such a unique and enjoyable experience that you won’t find just anywhere. One of the best parts was being able to relax in the hot pools at the bottom afterwards—it was perfect for warming up and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rotorua. If you’re looking for something fun, different, and memorable, this is definitely a must-do!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a chilly, rainy day, but everyone helped keep the riders warm -- great spas to soak in, overhead heaters in the waiting area, and a nice warm van to ride up the hill. It was great fun!

I loved this thrill seeking adventure. The water in the balls are warm and it is so much fun to race down the track. I preferred the straight runs. Rolling together with your buddy is just so much fun. Go for it!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and modern. Experience was unique. Very much enjoyed it with my teenage daughter. While seems pricy, I think it's good value. We did the 3-pack, which was fun. Hot tubs were great too. We went at 9:15am on a fine day during school holidays and there was no wait. Most people were turning up around 10:30 when we left.

Loved the experience, doing it with my son. My kids loved the hot tub facilities. Change rooms and the toilets were maintained well. And thanks for providing slow chargers for the visiting customers. With the Zorbs, if we get a good view of the outside when rolling down, it will add to the experience and thrill. The translucency of the balls reduced the overall thrill a little bit.

We had a great time at Zorb Rotorua. Having seen this giant ball on a television commercial many years ago it was a lot of fun and not as scary as we first thought. The hardest part is getting inside the ball. Be careful you don’t catapult back out. You must dive headfirst through the entry/exit hole. They place a dry padded mat like you find in a gym over the lower portion of the hole. One of us got stuck in the hole more than once. The second time an injury occurred. With my body weight tipping back out of the hole I stubbed both my big toes. It resulted in severe pain and extensive bruising. We suggest that a padded mat be installed just below the entry point to help soften any contact with the hard launching pad. Still a highly recommended activity even with sore toes.

This was such a lovely experience! It is on gorgeous grounds, and the staff are kind and also laid back. We went during the week in the afternoon and there were only a handful of other guests there making it really comfortable to enjoy ourselves and take our time. The rolling in the ball is a blast. The shorter downhill track was fun and fast (2adults and 1 kid in our zorb). There is a lot of water that ends up in your face. Have your kiddo turn their head to the side! The sidewinder track is also fun, less water in your face since you don't go as fast and change direction often. It does give you that roller coaster drop feeling in your stomach on the turns. My 5 year old was excited, then terrified, then did the run, then said he would never do it again, then asked when we were doing our second run, then did the second run and said it was the most fun in his whole life. So - yeah, not sure if that helps you parents out there. haha I get motion sickness easily, and felt a little queasy after these two runs. I could have done one more but not more than that. Would highly recommend even if you do get a little queasy - it was a blast and I finally checked it off my bucketlist after 22 years!

What a fabulous and unique experience. We did the two run option and were grateful we did. Not only fun to experience zorbing but their smooth process and top notch operation of getting you to the top of the runs and keeping you warm and comfortable between them was greatly valued.

We really enjoyed our Zorb experience and laughed our way down the hill. All of the staff was so supportive and kind it made the experience all the more memorable.

We had a blast! It was so much fun!

I purchased a package that included two rides for three children (aged 11, 12 and 13). However, the rules were not explained clearly to them. When the three children went down together on one tube, it was counted as if each of them had already used one ride. The kids understood it differently — they thought that if the three of them shared one tube, they could go together three times. Because this was not clearly explained beforehand, it created a misunderstanding and felt quite unfair to us. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing and I would not recommend it to friends. If someone I know plans to try it, I will advise them to make sure they clearly understand the rules first.

Absolutely AMAZING experience. I haven't laughed so much in a very long time. Highly Recommend ZORB Rotorua. If you are thinking about it, DO IT! From check-in to the whole experience, the ZORB team were amazing! Making our day one that we will not forget for a very long time. An awesome team and fabulous atmosphere! We took advantage of the hot tubs at the bottom and top of the rides to relax and extend the length of our visit, this made it so much more enjoyable and long lasting. Even though the admission fee was a little pricey, it was well worth it. We hired a Go-Pro and can't wait to download the lifetime of laughs and experience that we had. I highly recommend this for the entire family. An awesome day out! Thank you ZORB Rotorua, just AWESOME!!

I was in Rotorua 19 years ago and wanted to do the Zorb but wasn’t able to. I have regretted that ever since so it was my number one thing to do on this trip. Even after all that lead up, the Zorb experience did not disappoint! We has so much fun, especially on the two curved tracks. We laughed the entire time.
