Rotorua White Water Rafting | Kaitiaki Adventures + Transport

Quite great. Rafting is must-do activity in Rotorua. Transportation was great, but it would be better to notice exactly when to hop-in the van just before a rafting day.

Incredible experience. Great staff and value for money. Guides made sure we were safe and comfortable the entire time. They also made it clear what you were getting involved in so nothing was unexpected. Great time overall.

The whole experience was awesome! The ride to/from was very accommodating as I was traveling with a group on other activities, and instruction and scenery and inclusion of the local culture for safe keeping on the river was just some of the highlights!

My siblings had the best time on this activity they always mentioned that their guide was the MAN I think it was Corey sorry if I’m wrong. But thank you for a wonderful experience from all our family. So thank you Kaitiaki 😊 keep up the good mahi x

I visited Kaitiaki Adventures at the end of a marriage retreat. We had come down from Auckland for a few days in Rotorua and this was the BEST way to end our trip. They had an awesome deal on BookMe which was how we decided to visit and the price was well worth it. The staff were friendly, accommodating and gave you a confidence when out on the water so it made your time more enjoyable. Although being apart of a larger group, we were able to have a raft just for our group of 4 which was more than accommodating and appreciated. Huge thank you to our tour guide Exton for hosting us, taking us safely across the water and for making it a memorable first experience white water rafting! We look forward to returning again next time we are in Rotorua!

Absolutely incredible rafting experience with Kaitiaki Adventures! The whole trip was so much fun, exciting, and beautifully set in the middle of nature. The guides were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe while still keeping the adventure thrilling. The rafting itself was an unforgettable experience, with plenty of excitement, stunning scenery, and lots of laughs along the way. You can really tell the team is passionate about what they do. Absolutely breath taking, literally! Never have done anything like this im So glad i chose too come to KAITIAKI ADVENTURES for my first time experience! Our guides were lovely! Absolutely A+++ for hosting us. Absolute vibe! Very good pricing well worth every cent! Roughly 1 & half hours including driving 10 mins each way then the rest we are in the water! If youve never done anything like this give it a go! The waterfalls are so cool The raft can fit 6 + the guide so plenty of soace if you want too go as a group book ahead definitely :)

Fantastic experience over all the guides were great and did well controlling us and the boat, had a great knowledge of the history of the river we were going down which added that little extra to the experience. Very fair price. We were on the water about 1.5 hours which to be fair was enough time. Nine of us attended and the feed back from them all was very good. Great for beginners and experienced people alike.

So much fun and the team looking after us were fantastic. Scenery was beautiful and the water wasn’t too cold, even in winter! Highly recommend booking with Kaitiaki

Exhilarating! Amazing! Terrifying! What a shot of adrenaline! We had a blast and our guide was super professional and friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this adventure. My partner needs a cane for balance and everyone on the boat was super helpful and accommodating to her.

We had an amazing time. We were a little nervous at first because we are not experienced rafters, but the team was very calm and friendly and helped us have a great time. This is a must-do experience when visiting Rotorua.

You will get cold and wet!! So much fun though, and well worth it. All the instructors are very experienced and super friendly. Would love to do it again in Summer.

We went rafting with our guide Uri and we had the best time. It was pretty scary at times but we felt safe in the hands of the expert team guiding us. Absolutely loved the rapids and waterfall drop. Defo recommend this trip for everyone seeking some fun and an unforgettable experience!

Well organized and fun guides. We've done white water before where it is miles and hours of rapids. This is a flat out roller coaster ride of short calms and steep waterfalls. What a rush! "Paddle hard! Get down!! Yahoo!!!" Then that big wave crashes over the bow as we plunge down into the "washing machine" at the bottom. A truly unique brand of white water rafting with thrills usually reserved to crazy kayakers.

It was an incredible experience rafting the Kaituna River with Kaitiaki Adventures! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The gear was in great condition, no stinky wetsuits or flotation aids. The Guide in our boat Kyle was an absolute legend and so friendly! He navigated the rapids with skill and class. We surfed in some of the waves and got to laugh and enjoy the experience with everyone in our group! 10/10 recommend, I wish I could just do lap after lap on this beautiful river!

A definite thrill ride not for the feint hearted. A very enjoyable experience. All staff are helpful, kit you out with wet suits and safety gear quickly. They do thorough briefings of what to expect and how to react. You have plenty of practice of the correct positions to maintain over deep waterfall. My boat flipped and I was caught in back wash of waterfall. I remembered to curl up and came up under boat which was a relief as we had been alerted to this situation. Then there were plenty of fun exercises to make sure you had a fabulous time. Well organised, clear on safety and determined to give you a great experience.

Must do in Rotorua! Our guide, Kyle, was fantastic. Not only did we have a thrilling adventure, we learned about the history of the Māori in the area. We also started with an oli. It was exciting and yet I felt safe the whole time as the guides kniw the river well. Definitely jump in and swim the last rapid, it is super fun.

From beginning to end the rafting experience was amazing. Reiya was as incredible instructor and we had a lot of fun. Going over the falls was incredible! Would do it again forsure!!

Friendly, skilled, competent leaders who explained everything clearly and guided us safely throughout the trip. Exciting and exhilarating experience that does require physical exertion. Ben and Caruso assisted us whenever we struggled with something and we felt secure under their guidance . Recommend if you like adventure and getting out of your comfort zone

We did the rafting trip during our stay in Rotorua and it was really fun and the entire staff was great - they are all very enthusiastic and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had Gilly as our rafting guide and he was great. I was nervous at first with the drops but he made us feel totally prepared. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience from pick up to drop off; the team took care of us. We were a little apprehensive, but Gilly and Ben put us at ease and did a great job with safety and fun. It was a trip highlight and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Well structured event with hotel pickup. The many falls and class 5;rapids exceeded my expectations. They went thru the safety procedures well. We even had a participant that couldn’t swim, he did fine!
