Redwoods Altitude High Ropes & Ziplines + Glowworms, Rotorua

Amazing experience with the best guides in town!!

My partner really wanted to do the Altitude High Ropes and Zipline. I was apprehensive, I won't lie. However, our guides were great and really helped me feel at ease. I am proud to say that I attempted to do all of the "advance" ways to cross the bridges. I do think that it would be nice to have a certificate of completion at the end for folks like me to prove that I did it. We did the nighttime visit of the canopy and it was really lovely; excellent light displays. The glowworm exhibit had an en excellent explanation of the glowworms and I think they are a good way to experience them if you're not able to get to Waitomo.

My husband and I booked this thinking we were going on a casual board walk through the trees, little did we know we would be harnessed to them running along rope bridges, zip lining and jumping out of the redwood trees.😂 haha even with the unexpected we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the adventure. The guides were amazing through it all. Thank you for the fun time! 100% recommend!

The altitude experience was far more than I had expected. I remember booking and thinking this will be great. But WOW! It was absolutely fantastic, so many swing bridges, and the zip lines were great. Our guides were so informative and made the experience all the more better. Overall would definitely recommend and do again. A++

Amazing experience! If you’re on the fence just go for it. The guides were super helpful and friendly and it was such a cool experience.

My wife and I as seniors were somewhat fearful beforehand about walking on ropes some 25m above the forest floor. However the demonstrations and briefings by 2 excellent lady guides beforehand and the consistent emphasis on safety were reassuring. In the end the thrill and excitement we experienced surprised us. I never expected to complete the circuit with the 25m jump but in the end accomplished it with ease.

You need to be comfortable with heights and open to challenging yourself crossing a range of wobbly bridges. You need a reasonable fitness level to engage in all the bridge crossings ECT and be able to manage at least two hours of moderate activity

Great fun for the family! Very friendly and helpful tour guides. Definitely one of the must-do things in Rotorua.

This was an amazing experience. Our guides Kelsey and Tenaya were absolutely outstanding in every way. Their local knowledge and compassion were second to none. An experience everyone needs to do.

Amazing experience. Views and ziplines through those Redwoods are spectacular. Maddi and Tenaya are 1st rate. Ensured we felt completely at ease cruising 25m above the forest floor on the rope and timber bridges and ziplines. Provided plenty of history and stories, encouraged a few challenges on the way but all delivered with fun and a great sense of humour! Four times higher than the redwood treetop walk gives you a completely different perspective. Highly recommend it and can't praise the crew enough!

So much fun! We had a great time doing the Altitude, it was such a fun way to see the Redwoods, and our guides were great and informative too. The Nightlights fast pass and glowworms were also wonderful. Highly recommend this experience. Also, the ginger lemon tea in the gift shop cafe is amazing.

Very well run with a focus on safety. Our high altitude guides, Eden & Mattie were very patient when needed, seemed to enjoy helping the clients & had fun themselves. Grace took us through the glow worm "cave" & again was very helpful, attentive & answered many questions. I would recommend the experience to everybody. Thankyou.

Edith and Maddy where both good company and very knowledgeable of the area. Interesting facts that where interesting and good to know. They both helped me get over some hurdles I had.

An amazing experience! Our guides Maddi and Keisha (sp) kept things fun and exciting throughout the ropes course. I felt safe and secure 100% of the time up in the trees. They were also very knowledgable about the redwoods and the forest itself - would recommend to anyone who visits Rotorua!

The high altitude ropes course was one of my adult children’s top experiences during our trip to New Zealand! We all loved it, even those of us who are a bit terrified of heights! It was a very fun way to spend an afternoon!!

Tamaya and Maddie were excellent guides when I was doing the walk, zipline and the last part, the jump. I love how they’re very reassuring even though I was nervous throughout the walk. I enjoyed everything about it. 2 hours of this was worth it

Maddie and Tania were great guides. The scenery was beautiful and the course was a lot of fun.

Our family of four had an absolute blast on the Redwoods Altitude experience. It was exhilarating and beautiful and will not be forgotten. Our guides, Eden and Tenaya, were experienced, fun, kind, helpful, cheerful - just all-around awesome. In addition to their quality work connected to the Altitude adventure, they shared so much about the local area, giving us ideas of other things to do and places to see. We definitely recommend this as something to do for the adventurous.

Our guides were knowledgeable and so friendly. I felt safe and supported from the outset. There was great banter and all round it was a fantastic experience!

The high ropes tour was amazing. Our guides Amara and Eden were so helpful and caring with the whole group. The experience didn't feel rushed or anything so it was able to cater to all abilities and nerves. Along with the strong focus on safety the guides were also very knowledgeable about the redwoods so the tour was informative and fun. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

The guides explain fully and talk you through it all from start to finish. Great fun, get plenty of pictures, your very safe from the start, push yourself and enjoy it

We had an amazing time on the ropes bridges and zip lines of Altitude! The best part was the jump at the end so don’t miss it. The guides did a fantastic job explaining how to navigate the course and I felt safe the whole time. My son and I had a ton of fun on this adventure!

This is not something I would usually do when I signed up for it. Somehow, I wasn’t really thinking about what it entailed. And when I realized what it entailed, I decided to do it do it anyway .It was little bit scary walking on those bridges, but I had the most amazing guides, Jordan and Meg. They kept me calm and we’re extremely encouraging. I am so glad that I did this.

A great way to appreciate this well preserved redwood forest. A passel of hanging bridges of every shape and kind. The zip lines were fun, and the final step off experience was unique. Hook up to a speed break, take one step forward, and drop to the ground like a paratrooper who knows what they're doing.

I attended Redwoods Forest the day before for the tree walk and glow worm caves, Jordan was working on the caves this day and took a few moments to chat with me. I expressed that I was scared of heights but he assured me that the altitude activity was really fun and many people with a fear of heights would do it so I decided to book on for the following day. Meg and Jordan were our guides and they made it so much fun, despite feeling pretty nervous to begin with I had such a good time and I’m so glad I did it. They were both really personable and friendly and I had a lovely group doing it alongside me. Absolutely chuffed I went through with it and would likely do it again!

Easy to forget how high up you are when you're having so much fun! Jordan and Chloe were two absolute babes as well. Competent, friendly and fun tour leaders. Would recommend highly!

Had an amazing time!! Our guides Meg and Eden were amazing, very friendly and helpful, there was a lady on our tour who was scared of heights and they were very patient and calm with her, loved the experience and th staff too!!

It was my first time doing the zip lining thing. But Megan and Eden were absolutely amazing and explained everything in detail and were there at every step to look out for us. I would say that it couldn’t have been better than this. Definitely an experience I would remember my entire life. Eden even gave us all chocolates in the end:) very sweet gal!!

As someone that has a fear of heights Jordan and Jess made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They were amazing along the altitude tour. They are a compliment to the company that they work for
