What an exhilarating and interesting thing to do in Rotorua for 30minutes, well worth it. We did the 3pm jet boat ride which was a little cheaper, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I am not a big one for fair-ground rides but the speed and refreshing spray from the lake was wonderful, and don't be fooled by a little spray, you do occasionally get a soaking too, so leave your wallet, bags and phone at home unless you don't mind it getting wet.

This was really fun and our driver was very informative on local history and explained it in an entertaining way. Do wish we got a few more 360/doughnuts on the ride.

Technically and oprationally adequate, good H&S briefing on board. But OMG! Your staff need training from Te Arawa. Your retelling of history is appalling. And pronunciation of Māori is offensive. For a tourism operation do better for the visitors, but do better for the people of Te Arawa.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the location was very convenient, and I highly, highly recommend this place.

It turned out to be a cold and windy day on which we booked to go on the Katoa Jet boat, and Lake Rotorua had a few bumps; this added to the fun. We felt safe in the hands of our driver as she carefully guided us out to Mokoia Island and back. Her commentary was interesting and she answered our questions willingly. The 360's were a highlight though we were thankful for the provided splash jackets. We highly recommend this trip.

Speed and great service! A winning combination for Katoa Jet Boat. Made it super easy to work with our schedule and was very accommdating and kept us informed all the way. Everyone had the thrill factor dialled up and loved every minute of it! Well done team!

I took a group of youth and young adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities to the Katoa Jet Boat tour. Katoa Jet Boats were very accommodating to my group and were open to adjusting the tour to suit our needs if required and were great with our young people. The tour was amazing, lots of cool facts and the 360 spins are great fun. Would highly recommend :).

It's too expansive to book through Tripadvisor as we need to pay NZD 480 insted of NZD 408 whihc is actual price. The Katoa boat ride is enjoyble aby agin dont book through Tripadvisor.

You are showing lowest price than direct booking but when its comes payment, you are charging US dollars so i had to pay around 6 dollars converting change and us dollars convertable nz dollars, total extra NZ dollars than the direct booking price. This really cheating. I have lost 30 NZ by booking with your site.

Good fun and glad we got the 11am special for $85, it's only 30mins and about 5mins is the safety talk. Good fun if you haven't done it before. Hosts are great.

Had a great time with my 6 and 8 years old, was super easy and the guide was excellent and taught us a wee bit of local history.

Even though it was raining hard & we got drenched, the boat ride was still great fun. Mike was our captain, and was very pleasant & knowledgeable. He mixed speed, donuts and local stories very well. We had a great time.

Absolutely amazing experience! The history behind the places we visited is spectacular. The ride was so much 'FUN' me and my little family wish it never ended. However this feeling shows how awesome the experience was. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND & I will be back in the future, definitely.

Had a great time out on the lake with the team from Katoa. Came for our Christmas function and they were very accomodating and very professional but also fun. Bex was a great driver (even if we did get a tad soaked) and had some great information about the local history and culture. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try some local thrills

We had an amazing time out on the lake front followered by a beautiful soak at Polynesian Spa. The team at Katoa Jet Boat are amazing safe drivers, friendly, helpful and enriched in beautiful history of the land and beautiful scenic views that surround lake Rotorua. What a beautiful special way to celebrate a double 50th with my beautiful waihine toa twin. I totally recommend this adventure🥰

We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed it with the whole family. The boat driver was very cheerful and friendly. The explanations were very comprehensive and included jokes. The spinning the boat around in the water was something we really loved.

We absolutely loved this tour! Our Captain Bex was great fun, full of knowledge and a fantastic driver. The 360 degree turns are really good fun and we learned a lot about the history of Lake Rotorua along the way. All of the Team were so friendly and the tour was very good value. The photo package was a good buy too! Of our 6 week trip this was one of our best experiences so thank you.
