Claybird Shooting In Rotorua

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his rifle shooting. Hasn't done this since he left the Navy. His guide was very thorough and careful, very safety conscious. Would recommend though rather pricey, my husband would still do it again!

We had so much fun. all of us are first time shooting, but Peter taught us very well, we all hit the Claybird several times. my friends even hit 3 times in a row. Peter is very friendly, and even offered to help us take photos. amazing experience.

Really fun experience! The staff were very patient and explained everything clearly in detail. It was interesting and enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely recommend coming here and giving it a try!

My team and I did the archery, claybird shooting and 4x4 buggy ride, and it was amazing, to say the least! We all had an incredible time. My favourite was definitely the claybird shooting. I was honestly terrified to try it, but a huge shoutout to the crew !! They were fantastic at walking you through everything, making sure you felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience. Such an awesome day, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, exciting experience! 🙌

My husband took our son their for his 14th birthday. They both did the slug shooting and archery. They had a great time, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. My son came home with the biggest smile. Thank you for making it special.

Awesome first time experience. Met with happy, helpful people. Obliging and relaxed. Went solely for Clay shoot, but we decided to experience the archery. Such a cool day. Thanks to Jason for his professional approach to the safety protocols of firearms, and teaching skills, as well as Danny, in archery. Both events will be cherished. Nico & Melinda😃

I’m so glad I found this place! The staff are professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They make the whole experience welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely a new favourite hobby for me!

Absolutely amazing team who looked after our film crew & our 3 kaumatua (elders) & treated them with integrity, experience & professionally. Thanks team, we really appreciate it.

Such an amazing clay shooting experience - easily one of the best things to do in Rotorua. Everything was well run and so much fun. Peter was an incredible instructor - patient, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel at ease. We even had the whole place to ourselves, and the view from the hill was beautiful. The added buggy ride to the location really amped up the thrill too. Highly recommend!

Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful. They kept things informative and entertaining. The shooting experience was safe but fun. There were lots of instructions and precautions to make sure no one got hurt. There was a good range of shooting activities to cater for those who had never shot a gun before, right up to those who were very capable! Staff made time for photo opportunities and even took photos for us. A huge thanks to Ihaia and the team for a great event!
