We love this! We got the center seating of the second row. You must try to sit at the first few rows to have the best experience. This program is also very entertaining! Definitely a family friendly experience. We could pet the sheep’s while they were lining up before the show. At the end we could also see the sheepdog guiding the sheeps back to the pen.

There are so many different kinds of sheep. Great souvenir shop. Great wagon ride. Paige the annou cer was fabulous.
The experience was a fun adventure! My two young sons enjoyed the show, meeting the dogs, petting the baby sheep, and the tracker ride around the farm. We tasted fresh honey as well!
Such an amazing experience, we all learn so much about the breeds of sheep and about what the dogs do. We even got to see them in action. The farm tour was SUPERB our guide Jeff made lots of funny jokes and we were able to get up close to all of the animals and even FEED them! Such an unforgettable experience and we were so stoked and pleased at the end.
We did a friend’s trip to Rotorua and we booked the Farm Experience at Agrodome. We had the absolute BEST time!! The price is 100% worth it, we would’ve been happy with just the Farm Show but to even have the Farm Tour aswell topped it off🙌 Service from check in was awesome, farm show guide & farm tour guide was great! Really entertaining and funny😁💯 We would book this activity again and again, very highly recommend booking this to everyone (international & NZ locals) this is the best activity we have done in Rotorua💖💖 Thank you Agrodome Family!!!
My partner and I took our two kids (4 and 10months) and had a great day. The show was fantastic. The best part was when we got to feed the baby lambs a bottle on stage. The farm tour was great, although very cold winds in the open air trailer towed behind a tractor. Make sure you bring warm clothing. We loved getting to pat and feed all the very hungry sheep and alpaca. All of the staff were amazing.
Brought our family group of 8 (including overseas relatives) to the Agrodome on 21 August, and it was a massive hit! Even though I’ve been before, watching the farm show and interacting with the animals never gets old. It’s the perfect authentic Kiwi experience for international guests. The facility is well-organised, and the staff are fantastic with crowds. A special shoutout to Nella for looking after our big group so wonderfully—she truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended for families!
It’s worth the money, great experience for all ages.We enjoyed from the start of the tour to the end
Authentic New Zeakand farm experience learning about sheep farming, herding, getting up close and personal with multiple types of farm animals out in the paddock. Highly recommend.
It was very entertaining and worth doing. We couldn’t get headphones to work during the show. Although the commentator was good, she was a little hard to understand for foreigners and the microphone was a bit overpowering so the translation would have been helpful. On the farm visit we thought the access to the trailer could have been better for elderly people. Sarah was a great tour guide. She was amusing and kept us entertained from start to finish.
Fun and interesting. Great activity for kids but enjoyable and interesting for adults too. Recommended!
Most definitely recommend for parents or grandparents who want to take their children, grandchildren. Or just even with your friends, awesome experience. Absolutely loved it. Wont give away too much cos if I describe it, it’ll be like you were there with us! 100/00 Go to the Agrodome, the 11 o'clock show and farm tour, wont be disappointed!
The second time I came, the sheeps🐑 are very cute, and so are the dogs, but the whole process is a little cold.
Took our grandchildren to this attraction. They absolutely loved it. Fun and informative. The main man did an awesome job of keeping everyone amused with the stories. Sheep, ducks and dogs were brilliant. Cow even produced some chocolate milk which the kids thought was hilarious! Tractor ride after a real bonus with plenty of food for all the animals and info on the way. Thank you all again. It was a brilliant day.
Loved how friendly the staff were, along with the great and entertaining show for both adults and kids. We (2 adults, a 4 year old, and one 1 year old) had a great time.Loved how informative the tractor tour was, and my husband and son were super stoked to feed all the different types of farm animals. Good amount of time to wonder around too, worth the price. Inviting and kid friendly atmosphere. Not crowded at all.
Haven’t been for years but have always loved the show so decided to go back and it didn’t disappoint. Only think that Asian tourists would likely find it difficult to understand the loud commentary; I struggled a bit. Loved being able to rub sheepy noses . I didn’t participate on the tractor tour because I spend a lot of time on a sheep farm. I got chosen to milk the jersey cow which was a bit of a surprise but good fun!
My friend visiting from Scotland and I did the Farm Tour followed by the Farm Show. Sarah was our guide on the tour and she was very entertaining and knowledgeable .LOVE the sense of humour ! She drove that tractor as smoothly as a new mother pushing her new born baby in the push chair. She obviously loves all the animals as they do her. Good pace on the tour, plenty of time to feed the animals and get back in time for the show. Please pass on our thanks as we missed her after the tractor parked up - we were washing our footwear soles! Then Shaun conducted the Farm Show- again brilliant knowledge base and very funny. Perfect guy for the multicultural audience that day.
We are actually from rural NZ so weren’t expecting to be wowed by the experience in all honesty, but gosh it was a wonderful day of it! Just enough variety of activities and historical/ educational stuff to still be fun; friendly staff who are clearly sincere about their animals and our beloved country; the animals are well versed on their roles and full of character, and even the cafe is decent. Ka Pai Agrodome :)
Loved this experience!! We booked it last minute as our stay in Rotorua was extended. It should be a must on everyone’s schedule visiting Rotorua. All of the staff was so friendly and so many different experiences from shows to feeding the animals. The food was delicious as well
Great service and fun for all. But at start of farm show please tell audience that the headphones are in English as well as other languages because the microphone commentary which is excellent is very fast and a bit muffled for older ears! As 80 year old kiwis we didn’t realise we could have heard the English commentary clearly instead of puzzling it out until half way through! Signs on the stage could also note that
Great to see a working sheep and cattle farm, Information was excellent and easy to follow. Grear for everyone of any age
Wonderful Experience with friendly staff and animals ! Highly recommended to be there. If you come with child, they will love it.
This activity you cannot miss if you are in Rotorua, from the epic farm show to the outstanding farm tour, it was deeply engaging, entertaining, and so much fun for our whole family! Our tour guides were so hilarious, we laughed non-stop pretty much the whole time and it really made the experience. The cafe is awesome, the tour on the tractor ride was very comfortable, there was chance to hand feed and get close to lots of animals e.g alpaca's and sheep, lots of photo opportunities. An all round memorable experience that we are so glad we did! it's really awesome that they offer the carer and disability entry too!
A new experience! Must try it’s so satisfying
What a fun place. Be sure to see the sheep show and the sheepdog demonstration. I learned so much about the varieties of sheep! There is a nice gift shop on site as well.
This was a wonderful experience. Great seeing and feeding all the animals in the field’s. Also the show was really good to see. Loved the sheep shearing, they are so quick doing this. Also the dogs.. so beautifully behaved and walking on the backs of the sheep on stage was outstanding. Then the bonus seeing the sheep being herded by the one dog was very impressive too. ❤️loved it all.
This was a fantastic experience! It was fascinating to see the many different varieties of sheep and a sheep shearing demonstration! All of it was done with humor, which made it fun. Seeing what the dogs were able to do was amazing as well! The icing on top of the cake was taking the trolley pulled by the tractor around the farm and being able to feed the sheep and alpaca! It was also great to see how kiwi fruit grow as I had no idea! I would recommend this to anyone who has a chance to visit Rotorua in New Zealand!
My cousins from Denmark loved the whole experience. The guides were friendly, humerous and knowledgeable.
It was so fun, i love the farm show and the farm tour highly recommend if you are visiting rotorua. Its a must visit.
Amazing show and farm tour ! Friendly staff and wonderful place ! Experience suits for little kids and adults)
We were pretty disappointed with the farm tour, show and working dog presentation. The Farm Tour itself was actually quite good. Sierra (Sarah?) our driver and guide was very good. Bit of a different sense of humour but very knowledgeable about the farm and quite entertaining. I come from a rural background, so there really wasn’t anything remarkable about seeing the animals, but it was part of the purchase. Not sure what became of the stop at the Farmyard Nursery - it wasn’t even mentioned along the way. The Farm Show was okay, except the host came across like it was a television game show and he was the star. Talked so rapidly that we barely understood much of what he was saying at all. Seeing the 19 varieties of sheep was interesting, although we really had no idea of what he said about each breed. And the part we had anticipated the most and was the main reason for enduring the rest was the Working Dog demonstration. That was pretty much a complete bust, so disappointed! Advertised as watching the talented “dogs” in the dog trial, but involved only one young dog that he said he was still training trying to work three sheep. It lasted all of maybe five minutes, and then he just left, saying we had to understand it was only a young dog and it wasn’t its best day, maybe better on another day. Seriously? Pretty much a waste of both time and money.
Interesting experience and very friendly and helpful staff.
Had a good experience. Started with the show - very interesting to see all the types of sheep. She was very engaging with the audience. I missed the dog show. The farm tour portion was very fun as well. Loved getting to feed the animals!
I really enjoyed the experience of touring the Agrodome farm. The tour guide also driving the tractor was very funny, professional and kept the group organized (except for some Asian tourists trying to take selfies too close to some llamas mating which took some effort to discourage!). Outside of the chaos of some these things, I really liked feeding the animals and learning about all the farming activities in both the farm show and tour. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed the sheep show host’s energetic and witty presentation. It made the show even more fun and engaging. The driver of Tractor No. 3 also gave clear and easy-to-understand explanations, which were perfect for the kids. We really appreciated it.
Wonderful experience visiting the Agrodome Farm experience in Rotorua. We purchased tickets using a promo code online prior to arrival for $113 NZ for 2 adults! A large tractor coveys you around a 350 acre farm providing clearly spoken commentary about the many various animals. Stopping to let of off several times to feed the sheep, alpaca, deer, ducks, etc.. Very informative and interesting! After the farm tour there is a humorous farm show displaying many breeds of sheep, with an entertaining sheep shearing demonstration, a cow milking game played with members of the audience, another game with children feeding baby lambs and a dog herding demonstration. After the show there is an outdoor demonstration of dogs herding sheep into a pen. All in all Avery entertaining afternoon; I’m only sorry the kitchen closed so early (3 pm) and thus we were unable to have lunch after our show!
Excellent experience for myself and my nearly 3 year old. She was able to feed sheep, deer and alpaca (though it was a little chaotic with so many visitors in the same area at once). The farm show was good - seeing 19 breeds of sheep all at once for comparison was interesting. The dogs were also good, and the light humour worked ok with the English speakers who got the jokes! Very easy to register and use the ticket, which was replaced with a sticker for the show and tractor trailer ride. All very easy and an enjoyable 2.5 hours. I would say that by going to the last booking of the day, the cafe closed and looking in the shop was a bit rushed as the whole place was closing.
We enjoyed seeing the different sheep breeds, sampling manuka honey, seeing kiwi fruit growing, etc. Felt fairly touristy, but we expected that. And we were tourists, haha.
Really enjoyed the time at the farm. Started with an interactive show and ended with a lovely ride around the farm to feed the animals
This is a “MUST DO”! A completely joyful experience for kids of all ages! We are in our 70’s and we had the best time.
Brought here as part of our NZ tour. Never realised there is so much to know about sheep types, wool, sheering, dogs, etc.. Despite the pouring rain, this was great fun and you don't need to be a child to enjoy it.
Interesting tour of the farm, but missed a bit information sharing. Dome show was fun for the kids and even for adults. Kids loved getting close to the animals and participating in the show
This tour is worth the money, informative and definitely family fun. You learn about sheep breeds, witness how a sheep is sheared and see working dogs interacting with sheep. There is some interactions of the audience on stage. The second part is a tractor pulled trailer ride across the farm which allows interactions with farm animals.
The show was funny and enjoying. The farm is well organized. I did not expect I would have so much fun here. Totally recommend.
Agrodome was great but Trip Advisor is a total rip off. Charged way more than we should have paid over the actual entry fee.
Great price for the farm show and tour. We visited for about 2 hours and enjoyed the experience. The lady doing the sheep show was awesome had everyone laughing. My only issue is if you are a larger person it is difficult to get on and off the tractor ride as seats are very close together.
If you are in Rotorua with children this is well worth a look. The show was excellent, educational and a laugh as well - even involved the crowd which was good. Kids loved the tractor ride around the farm which included feeding sheep, alpacas and even deer!
Great experience, worth it. Staffs are very friendly and funny. Nice show by the way. Will try again.
Didn't go to agrodome but went to the farm tour. Will be going to agrodome on our next holiday. Great fun for the little ones
Only did the farm tour. Saw a llama spit at a child Best farm tour in the country ____________________________________
