Ramada Resort By Wyndham Rotorua Marama

A stunning resort with 5 star facilities and activities. Perfect for families. The rooms are kitted out with high quality appliances including a washer and dryer and also a dishwasher and a large fridge. Absolutely amazing service and staff, very friendly and super helpful.

As a family group which had 3 rooms between us. We were very impressed with the resort. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. I have never been to a place with such great amenities. The resort is 25 mins from the centre of rotorua so pays to visit the supermarket before checking in. Plenty to do on the resort for families. We throughly enjoyed our 4 day visit

We stayed at the Ramada Resort Rotorua for three nights. The 2-bd, 1-ba 'townhouse' was spacious and had all the amenities as described. It was super helpful to have the washing machine and dryer right inside the house, as we were traveling with two young children. The kitchen - with all the necessary appliances, cookware, etc - was also greatly appreciated to at least be able to make quick, 'homemade' breakfast for the family. We did not get to take advantage of the onsite facilities as we spent most of our time exploring outside, but did see the outdoor pool, the outdoor chess set, a clubhouse, and I believe there is a tennis court and some other facilities available as well. The resort is located on the northeast end of the lake, which means a ~25-minute drive to go to downtown Rotorua or other popular tourist destinations. I liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle, but some families or travelers might appreciate a more centrally located hotel if driving on unfamiliar, dimly lit roads is stress inducing. Not a complaint about the resort at all, but just wanted to share this as a fact for others to consider.

** Superb ** Firstly, a shout out to Josephine who was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you. Staff like this make life easier when on holidays. We had a two bed house. It was spacious, cleaned to a great standard, comfortable and warm (in winter). The beds were quite comfortable. The shower was great. The kitchen had everything needed. Comfy couch and decent wifi. Fabulous little deck with grass area leading to the canal. It was super peaceful. Location; stunning setting. Very peaceful to wander around and there’s a tiny sand area leading to the lake waters. The pool and hot tub were clean. Sadly the pool was cold, but I can imagine it is great in summer. Loads of space around the pool also to sit out and chill. Motorists were all respectful of the 5km speed limit. This allowed for safety toward the kids. All in all an awesome place.
