Ac Hotel By Marriott Wuerzburg

The hotel was good, very spacious rooms and new. Most of the staff were friendly too. Nice parking at the back. Both parking and breakfast are caharged as any other Marriott property in big cities. I had a problem with their housekeeping policy- they had a note pasted everywhere that the housekeeping will only be done once every 3 days. In my opinion something as basic as making up beds and replacing cups should not be removed by enforcement. I have seen hotels have that have this as an option in addition to points etc.. just like the option of hanging towels if you do not want them replaced. We come to stay here because it is a Marriott and that means certain basic amenities are standard and that was missing. I did scan the QR code on the notice that was pasted about informing guests about this in the lift and behind the door etc.. It talks about saving water, how do you save water by not making the bed? How do you save water when guests have to wash their own coffee cups for 3 days. It does save moneyto the hotel management, I agree (ha ha). The sink was open design and sobwas the wardrobe which I am not a big fan of, some of you may like it, see the attached pictures. Breakfast was a full spread, they do offer choice of eggs. Very good Location too.

The hotel located only 13 min walk from the train station and about 15-20 min walk from the city center. The ac was strong (it was a heat wave in Wurzburg) and the bed was super comfortable. Now the bad part. 1. No daily housekeeping. Only every 3 days... I find it rather strange for the hotel of this class. 2. The design of the room is so poor, that it should be called "total exposure": The toilet and the shower have frosted glass doors and offer only partial privacy. Both of them are facing sink area. There are no hooks for the towel anywhere near the shower. Not inside or outside. So you have to get outside the shower pan to get your towel and drip water all over the floor. The sink area is small and open to the room . Again, no privacy there. The water from the sink splashes all over your luggage which is on the other side of it. The space to hang your clothes is too small and not adequate.

Wonderful service, exceptional breakfast, and nice sized rooms with easy access to just about anywhere. The parking was convenient located in a garage behind the hotel with a reasonable overnight free of 25 euros. An easy 5 stars! We will stay here again when we return.

Situated a short walk from the train station, very easy to get to. It's beside the moxy (by marriot) We initially went in there, however it's the neighboring building. Room is modern, studio style, with they typical accouterments 🏨
