In a week filled with incredible experiences, this one was a standout. Toni led our private tour and was an absolute delight. We learned a lot about the neighborhood and its cuisine, and I will be thinking about some of the food we ate, specifically the Pork and Apple stew at Spirito di Vino, for the rest of my life. The lessons Toni taught us, and the recommendations she gave us, made sure that we were well fed for the duration of our trip. I could not recommend this tour highly enough.
Rish! Rish! Rish! Our guide grew up in this neighborhood, his stories were amazing. Each place loved having us stop by, our group felt welcomed at each business. Wine, beer and food made especially for us! 4 full hours of fun.

The tour included several wonderful stops at local restaurants, bakeries, and a gelato shops, along with a visit to a neighborhood bar to enjoy a spritz and aperitivo. It was a great way to discover places we might not have found on our own while sampling so many delicious local specialties. Our Trastevere Food Tour was absolutely wonderful! Our guide Jasmin was very knowledgeable and taught us many things about Italian cuisine! He provided an excellent, authentic overview of the Trastevere area and food culture, and even gave us a brief history lesson of this lesser-explored area outside of Rome. Just after a wonderful evening food and wine tour with Toni. By the end of the night, we had all sampled wonderful Roman delicacies, drank lots of delicious wine and left feeling like we’d seen a secret side to Rome. Toni was an excellent guide. Fabio is a fabulous guide. One of the best I’ve had on vacations. He is a teacher with a fun personality. It was nice to visit some busy Trastevere spots without having to fight crowds or make decisions to sample dishes bc the guide handles everything. We are very enthusiastic eaters & well traveled in Italy so didn’t gain any new dish or drink exposures but enjoyed the tour for the social aspect & hearing some insights from the guide.
