This was an absolutely amazing experience! The staff was flexible, communicated well and gave an informative tour! It's 1.5 hour drive from Rome but worth it. They have unique wine barrel pods you can stay the night in, we will definitely do this if we return.

This is not to be missed, and worth every penny. This is the epitomy of La Dolce Vita One of the best ways to spend a leisurely morning or afternoon in Rieti. We really liked all their unique wines and the food pairings were perfect! We have taken the tour and wine tasting many times with family and friends and everyone always enjoys themselves. Our wonderful guide spoke beautiful English, treated us like family and the people at the winery and restaurant are so kind and accomodating. This is a small winery, and the tour/tasting is very personalized not a rushed large crowd commercialized experience, there were only 4 of us...We paid a little extra and tasted 8-10 wines, everyone as unique and delicious as the next. We will keep going back and taking our friends and family; we will continue to eat their delicious food and drink their amazing wine!

Enchanting place, the guide, Matteo, was very knowledgeable and truly thorough. The food at the La Foresta restaurant is excellent, and the Rifugio DiVino where we stayed was also truly unique.

Had a super tour, a real recommendation. After the tour, we had a super dinner where the wine-food pairing was excellent.

We had lunch at the restaurant for my birthday. Annoyed and impatient waiters with children. Bothered by the crying of a child not even 2 years old in a high chair. They made us pay a cover charge, which is prohibited in Lazio. The meat was raw and the pasta was overcooked. The dishes, besides having ridiculous names like "menage a trois" and "bandolo della matassa," were bland. Stuff for ignorant American tourists. Also, for a birthday, they could have at least offered a toast...

Excellent experience! We had the opportunity to live the “Wine&Food Experience” which includes a tasting of 7 wines and the pairing of various courses with them. We participated in the visit to the company's cellar and then moved to the production facility for the various products (wine, oil, and cured meats). Our guide, Matteo, was very appreciated as he illustrated every detail regarding the company and told the story of this “young” business and the origin of many labels produced by the company. We received a gift voucher for a visit to the "Le Macchie" Winery with a tasting. The visit was very interesting: Domenica, our guide, was very helpful; her explanations were clear and detailed, understandable even for those who, like me, are not very familiar with the world of wines. We sensed all the research and care that Antonio and his team put into every phase of wine production, from the choice of grapes to the processing methods. After the visit to the winery and the vineyards, there was the tasting. Domenica presented the 6 wines to us one at a time. After the explanation, there was the wine tasting, accompanied by finger food or cold cuts or cheeses, chosen to enhance the taste of each glass. We had a really great time; all the staff were extremely kind and attentive to our needs (I, for example, could not eat the cheeses and was offered alternatives). We will definitely return, also to try the "La Foresta" restaurant, which was closed that day for its weekly day off.
