Vespa Tour - The Essence Of Rome

Amazing tour, we saw everything we wanted to. Our tour guide, Mario, was absolutely amazing! I’d recommend it to anyone! It was 95 degrees out but on the Vespa it felt great with the wind hitting your face!

This was the highlight of our trip. Victorio, such a wonderful tour guy. So personable, sweet and kind. Very knowledgeable and funny. He had us laughing a lot. He made sure you practiced a few times before you went on the road and always kept an eye on us . We stopped at some absolutely beautiful places, and he even took pictures of us. Highly recommend. We were even hugging at the end of the tour. So sweet!

How else should one see the sights in Rome? Great experience & we had such a fun time. Not ideal if you want to visit inside of every location but this type of tour suited our travel style.

We kicked off our trip to Rome with this Vespa tour. We had Marco as our guide and he showed us the city while giving us plenty of photos opportunities. He explained and gave the history of the most important landmarks. This trip is NOT for the faint of heart as the traffic and maneuverability through small streets can be intimidating if you are not used to it. Definitely worth it if you have experience riding a Vespa or motorcycle. Marco rode slow to ensure we kept up and pulled over, as needed, to wait for us. It was a blast!

We had such a great time on this tour! You can choose to drive your own Vespa and follow the tour guide or have a driver. We chose the driver option, which was great because we didn’t have to worry about driving in an unfamiliar place and we got to pay attention to the sites. It was a fabulous way to see more of the city, especially if you’re on a quick trip. I’d absolutely recommend!!

Our tour guide was fun and kind. We had a great time riding on the streets of Rome. He was flexible and asked what we wanted to see and made suggestions on where to go. The scooters were fine, but dont expect a shiny new helmet or vespa….

I loved took this tour is so complete, mario our guide is the best he was so polite, patience, he speak very well English and Spanish. Highly recommended. The price is pretty good

We had a wonderful time!! Was perfect. Wonderful for adults and children (ours were 8,12 and 15). Great way to see the city. Guides were so fun and Informative. Drivers were excellent. A must do!!!

My husband and two adult kids took the Vespa tour. The guide was great and the tour route was very interesting. The reason I gave average review for this tour is that scooters were in poor condition, the breaks barely worked, due to that my husband fell from the Vespa in the middle of the tour and he badly injured his elbow. And he’s experienced biker as we have motorcycles at home. When he fell some part from bike got broken and company made him pay 250 euro for it. So be aware and better yet find different company to take tour with !!!

Being our first time in Rome, this was the perfect way to take in the way local way of life and history of the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had so much to say about every stop along the way. If you only have a few days here and want to experience the best of Rome with a personal tour guide this is it!

We really enjoyed our tour with Victorio! He was an enthusiastic guide that showed us all the great sites of Rome! He had a great personality and even started saying “wo-wo-wo-wo-wo” when Debra said it while threading through Rome’s busy traffic. This was an amazing and must do activity in Rome! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it and our guide was superb! Highly recommend when in Rime for sure.

An outstanding trip around Roma. The tour deviated from the original itinerary, but well worth it! The visit to the ancient city and sunset vista overlooking Roma was spectacular. The gems that one would not know to visit made you feel like s local. Vespas are a great site seeing tool in the Eternal City.

Totally worth it! We had a great private tour with Vitorio. We could learn more about Rome and also some not so turistic places. As you are on a private tour you can follow your rhythm and customize the stops as per your wishes. And we finished with the best ice cream I have ever had! I will definitely do it again when back in Rome.

My 18 year old daughter and I did a vespa tour with our two drivers Alessyio and Yuri. The boys were lovely, they realised we had seen alot of the main monuments etc so they took us around to sights I didn't even know about. It was Rome at her most beautiful and was so much fun. I can't speak highly enough of these two gentlemen, they were great guides. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I rented the Vespas and we were the only ones that day so we were very lucky with a private tour of the city. Alessio the tour guide was awesome. He knew the city really well and took his time explaining everything and allowed us to enjoy each and every stop along the way. He took pictures of us everywhere we went and did not mind. The tour was about 4 hours but Alessio was kind enough to allow us more time to see the city. I would 100% recommend the tour guide with Alessio especially. He made me and my wife feel really comfortable and he had a great sense of humor. Sincerely, Granit and Florina or as Alessio referred to me as Leonidas from the movie 300!!

A butt puckering seat of your pants tour of Rome riding pillion behind Crazy Italian guides who weave their vespas through rush hour traffic like Jason Statham on speed. The delightfully entertaining Alexander who leads this pack of crazies will regale you with tales of ancient and modern Rome with the pride and enthusiasm of a true Roman patriot. Great fun and real value for the alternative day tripper.

Wir hatten Glück und haben Alexander als Guide bekommen, der neben englisch auch deutsch sprach. Die Tour war kurzweilig und interessant. Wir hatten keine Lust auf stundenlange Begehungen diverser Gebäude sodass diese Tour genau das richtige für uns war. Erfahrung im Rollerfahren sollte bei dem römischen Verkehr aber vorhanden sein.

Caterina has been great, she takes the time, she's patient and she speaks French very well. Too bad that day, the Colosseum and the Roman forum were inaccessible. I had a great time! I was able to enjoy all the main places of Rome in a few hours.

A very cute experiential, Davide our guide knew a lot and was very friendly, made the walk extremely interesting, showing us places that only those in Rome know, making this tour different and much more dynamic, the places we took us had the best views! We rented a wasp for an afternoon and, in addition to the affordable price, the owners are kind, friendly and super helpful! Vespa and helmets perfect for a nice ride around Rome; if you pass by Trastevere the stage is a must!
