Vatican Skip The Line Ticket With Host

Don’t trust gps navigation to get you to the pick up point for tickets. We kept getting turned & ended up missing excursion. Were refused a refund. The company doing the tour absolutely not cooperative in helping & the man we spoke to was rude/impolite. I rec’d a text message the day before saying our tour time had been changed, was to respond/acknowledge, but was on another excursion at the time. Replied that I was busy and couldn’t respond & recieved a text thanking me for confirming. Sorry, that wasn’t what I said.. I would like to request a full refund for the 5 tickets I paid for. I was 10 minutes late for my tour as originally scheduled.

Glad we booked this excursion. The lines were crazy so skipping the lines helped. The host to give us a few pointers and the flexibility to view the museum and chapel at our leisure was perfect.

Viator/Vivicos handled everything for us. A computer glitch allowed us to book on a Sunday even though the museum was closed. They called me as soon as it was discovered and moved out reservation to a different day with an upgrade of adding a tour guide. Valentina was wonderful as our guide. The museum has no air conditioning and was very hot. Adding to the fact that the museum was very crowded, it made for a rough time. Overall the art was worth it. Next time we will not go with a self-guided tour as there were several rooms we wanted to look at, but had to keep moving with the guide.

I was a little disappointed because I booked this tour hoping that we would be one of the first to enter of the day but this time was actually when you meet at a tour office and we didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. It really put us behind schedule because the Vatican is so vast. However, the tour guide did a great job of navigating getting inside. It was a mess with all of the people waiting.

I bought tickets for three people. And I don't understand why we were charged $197.00 when the tickets we received showed only $25.00 each. Also, when I wanted to change the time for the tour it was going to cost me $300 more.

We did the Early Morning Vatican Private Tour and our guide was Rosa. Rosa was a fantastic guide. She took us all around the Vatican knowing the exact timings sections would open for the best viewing. She was very knowledgable and provided us with a great experience. She truly wanted to ensure we were able to see all the highlights. I highly recommend the tour! Thank you Rosa for an amazing time!

I booked tickets for me and my wife on on the Rome Private Guides site. We met at the requested time (2:45) and promptly left to walk to the Vatican with 28 people total. There is a short line to get through security but not bad maybe 5-10 min tops. Francisco was a wonderful tour guide, we all got ear pieces to listen to him clearly. They have a range of 20-30 ft. Francisco is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all the history along the way, he was like our own professor throughout the tour. He stopped multiple times to give in-depth explanations of multiple artifacts, paintings, sculptures and the many statues in the Vatican. The Vatican is always packed with a lot of people and it’s really hot inside at times especially on the top floors so dress lightly, of course you can not expose your knees or shoulders in the Sistine chapel but all along the tour in the Vatican it’s ok. Pictures ok as well, only until you get to the Sistine Chapel they tell you put it away and cover up since it is a church. Truly an incredible place it visit, highly recommending this tour.

Claudia was very friendly and knew so much about the history of the Vatican museum, the Sistine chapel and St Peter’s sq. Claudia answered all our questions and made the tour very interesting. I would highly recommend the tour. I would say that the Vatican is extremely busy so make sure you book in advance. The only thing I would say was a negative experience was the other visitors talking in the Sistine chapel when we were all told to be silent on entry but this was no fault of our tour guide.

The tour was conducted by Davide, we met at the appointedtime, brief instrcution about entering the Vatican and estimated times for the entrance process and we were away. A tour of the Vatican Museum, Papal Apartments and the Sistine chapel Davide was informative, knowledgeable and pointed out things we would not have noticed f we had toured without a guide Encyclopaedic knowledge of the development of arts and artist Ended in the Jump gthe Line for Basiica. Superb

The tour guide was very nice, but the whole experience was completely rushed. We upgraded and paid for the museum tour and you couldn't even stop to look at the artifacts. It felt like one million people herded like cattle from start to finish. Sisteen chapel and st peter's basillica were beautiful if you don't mind being in a extreme fire hazard with a million people jam packed like sardines. Although beautiful It just wasn't a pleasant experience at all especially for the price paid.

We had an excellent guide called Laura Gangemi who made a very interesting tour with brilliance and engagement. She even managed to keep my 14 year old interested and alert for 2,5 hours! Many thanks!

We were very fortunate to book a tour with Rome private tours. There were 6 of us, two adults and four young adults. Our tour guide, Halina, was engaging and kept everyone’s attention. Always with a smile, she explained the history of the Vatican collection and the Sistine chapel, answering all of our questions. Unfortunately we took so long she could not accompany us into St. Peter’s Basilica, however, she explained prior what to look for. We would highly recommend this tour if you want to skip the line and see closed sites to the public that only guided tours can offer.

By far our best tour in Italy. Stunning sight. Marzy was the perfect guide. Quick but thoughtful with picture stops and knowledgeable. She seemed to get us magically past all the lines and crowds. Magnifico!

Our guide was Renata and she made it so much fun. She gave us some super interesting background information and was super good at spending the most time at the more important and interesting pieces as there is soooo much to see and could be overwhelming without a guide. She was super nice aswell and I never felt like I was restricted cause of her and never felt like we were chasing her. She gave us plenty of time to look and take pictures and she really just made the experience 10x better! Thanks Renata!

My family and I had a great time at the Vatican. We arrived at the agency to pick up our tickets and all the employees at the tour counter were nice and helpful. The guy that walked us to the Vatican Museum was very attentive.

We were advised to meet at 7.20 in advance of tour beginning at 7.30. The guide arrived at 7.29 while I was trying to contact the office. Your advertising suggests fast track access to the museums and a three hour tour. This could not be further from the truth….. we queued for one hour during which the guide declared it was a two hour tour to finish at 10.30. Once tiur began our guide was informative, pleasant and entertaining. Tour ended at 10.30 before we got to Raphael rooms. We gave a score of 3/5 as content for the two hours tour was excellent. However, advertising is false - this was not fast tracking - we queued behind thousands of others, tour was a two hour experience, not three hours. Michael and Margaret

The Sistine Chapel is included in all museum visits which was confusing when we booked. We booked Vatican tickets AND Sistine tickets which was not necessary but we got lucky and out wonderful host that took us in (the Uber dropped us off at the wrong place but the viator host where we were dropped off was wonderful). He made sure to fix our mistakes! Incredible because he did not have to do any of that. He walked us in even though we weren’t on his list and he helped me cancel the other double booked tour. Bring your walking shoes and cover your shoulders and knees when visiting or else you may not get in. I walked 6 miles while here in 90 o F. My husband is 60 and I am 40. We made it around just fine but others may struggle.

Meeting point/time is where you walk from and get the ticket. You walk to the entrance with the host. Works Well. Its a good idea to choose a skip the Line ticket.

Took too long to enter and our pass didn’t required a companion. We were required to meet in the agency but we didn’t pay for a guide and we have almost an hour for our ticket.

Renata the guide was amazing. She knew how to answer all the questions patiently and in detail, she explained everything with enthusiasm and interest and was attentive to the group. highly recommend!

We were a group of four friends, desperate to avoiding the huge line outside vatican and as a surprise we found this agency where we booked our tour and entrance to the museum’s. It was so detailed and interesting and our hostess Lettizia was amazing and very friendly!we had a great time thanks to her ! I definitely recommend it!

Saverio was an excellent host! Italian in mannerisms and character, and full of a wealth of information about the Vatican. He also asked us specifically what we wanted to ensure we see (knowing that the entire Vatican compound would be days of experiences), and he felt committed to help us achieving that goal as a group. I appreciated his knowledge immensely. There was so much to take in and at times it was overwhelming, but it was great perspective on the ancient world that we know so little about (or learn so little about in school). Really appreciate the tour, thank you so much to Saverio!

We had the guide saveiro. In the beginning, he gave some instructions on how he works. Follow closely and stay together and not walk in front of him. He came across as a bit strict but in the end that was his humour. And it worked his strategy to hear in the crowds all the information he knows. He has a lot of knowledge and fun humor! We had a very nice experience because of that! Highly recommended, I will never forget this man when it comes to Rome. All very well arranged!

Visit the Vatican with Martina! A great guide Speaks very well French thinks of its visitors gives valuable advice, such as taking a bottle of water. Know the Vatican at your fingertips and give valuable feedback! Pleasant time spent despite the presence of a 3 year old. I highly recommend the Martina guide!
