Our guide helped us get inside and find the best seats to see the Pope as his pope mobile went by. They could have told us how long this would last better. Our guide said we would be finished around 9am and the Pope hadn't even come out by then. We were there until after 11am

Guide was great and informative. Good seats to view pope mobile. Arrived early and did not need to stand for several hours
It is best to do this with a guided tour like Massimo. He was able to direct us to one of the best spots to see Pope Leo. His advice was immeasurable. We also got hop on and hop off for the next day.
An amazing experience totally unplanned & a wonderful way to round off a fantastic visit to Rome & heart of catholic religion.
Maximo was charming, knowledgeable & wonderful! He moved us through the line efficiently and left us in the perfect spot to see the Pope. Thank you Maximo, all the best to you.
It was fantastic and our guide was superb. We got to our meeting point an hour early and enjoyed the people coming, the set up of souvenirs and even the street cleaners. It was a pleasure being a part of the service and seeing the Pope.
What a wonderful experience and our tour guide was absolutely hospitable. Massimo was our guide and got us up close for the experience.
Guide was extremely nice and very knowledgable. Front row seats. A wonderful experience. ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful time.
This tour company is very poorly organized and operated. The station that you meet at is really just a restaurant. There was no one to meet us until after we contacted th e company. Our date was a meet with the the new pope. Security was in place. No coach tour was available. Another employee rushed us over to our guide who simply introduced himself, stood inline with the guests, handed us our tickets to the venue, then disappeared. We contacted the company and were told this was normal. This is not the way other tour companies operate. Everyone stays together and are guided through the venue. We are extremely disappointed in their service. Thankfully, the papal Wed. Mass was extremely full and wonderful.
The guide did not show up at the event and kept me waiting for hours at the place that I was instructed to go and meet. I had to walk a lot to get there, and then a no-show. This is not what is expected when you pay for an event that is free!
Massimo and another woman were the ones who met us in front of Caffe San Pietro. Their task was really to just gather us outside, get us in line and through the security, and gesture to the row of seats where we could sit. Besides entry to the Vatican, they provided a free ticket for a one-day hop-on-the-bus tour with their company, as well as a discount coupon at a local souvenir shop where there was a bathroom. Other than this, we were on our own after the papal audience.
This tour was a rip-off. The tickets to see the Pope are free. You can get them from the Vatican. If you get there early enough you can get a great seat. We were quite a distance from the steps but the Pope-mobile did go right past us so we did get to see the Pope. The second part of the "tour" included a hop-on, hop-off bus ride, but there was no bus stop anywhere near the Vatican and it was too far to walk to get one so we didn't get to use what we actually paid for. It was very difficult to find our guide in the morning as he had no sign and was not at the indicated meeting place. He never introduced himself to us either. Greenline Tours are definitely not worth it - save your money by not buying this.
That is best time to stay in Rome longer. Meet Pope is a wonderful and blessing amd lucky to see a great man
The entire tour was great. A beautiful experience. We were close to the drive by of the Pope and was able to take pictures. Great tour guy and lady.
Massimo, was a fantastic guide. He was spot on with all his suggestions. My family all loved his personality and made our excursion even more meaningful. Thanks
Was doubting this activity because of some of the reviews but it became the best moment of my Europe trip. Well organised. We were shown the best seats to sit on and Pope Francis passed right in front of us less than a meter away. Once in a lifetime opportunity for us catholics. Am very happy , will do it again next time
This was my highlight of Rome. Seeing the Pope, up and close and greeting him in my language as he went padt. I could almost toych him. I am so blessed.
Great time just make sure to use a map app for the meeting location and get there early. It was amazing
Our guide was helpful. But we did enjoy our seats and location. We would of liked more information on what to do after the experience.
We got to see the Pope close when he passed by us and attend his Wednesday audience with the public... but literally you don't need to buy a tour for this cz it's free.. the tour is a scam!!! The tour guide meets you, talks a little bit of Vatican history and brings you to a store for shopping .. scam!!!
The Audience was free, but it was impossible to reserve a ticket on the official site only one day ahead. So, I bought our last-minute tickets a day before the Audience, and we met the Pope! The guide helped lead our way in the long line. According to him, groups use another gate to the square, which is much shorter than the regular line. However, the guide’s decisive switching back to the regular line convinced us that having an experienced guide helps ease uncertainties, and the price is worthwhile. The guide pays attention to details and makes a difference.
Seeing the Pope up close and visiting the Sistine Chapel for the 2nd time. The tour guide is great and is very well aware of where to seat.
I would like someone to contact us. This was not as stated. My family of four paid for a tour that is free to the general public. We did not get any benefit. We did not skip any line or get any better seating.
It would have been better with good weather but overall it’s helpful to have this guide for a first timer like me cause it’s hard to ask around not everyone speaks English . Just recommendation we should go on line to the entrance as early as we can
Bit of a rip off, you’re really paying for a bus ticket. Go early, queue yourself for a ticket for the audience. This was just daft, total suckers but lesson learned.
Massimo was amazing. He led us to the perfect seats to see The Pope as he ride past in the Pope-Mobile. I highly recommend using this service.
Seeing the Pope in person! While you don’t always get to get super close to the Pope, this was very worth it. We got great pictures and items blessed.
Seeing the pope very close was the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my whole life Would recommend this event to everyone
It was a magnificent experience, masssimo was good, the only thing he don’t say goodbye and we have some questions. But everything was fine. The bus was a plus!!!
Flawless entry into the Vatican with plenty of time to have breakfast and enter into the seating area with our choice of seats
Fabulous experience well worth paying for this tour. The guide met us, guided us through the lined quickly and helped get seated where we had good visibility seeing Pope Francis.
The most memorable part of the tour was seeing Pope Francis. That is about all I can say good about this tour. Once you got to the “meeting point” there was no clear direction as to where you are to meet the group as there were hundreds of people there. When we started walking to the sitting area, the tour guide left the group. I might as well not even purchased this! Why is this even offered. What is the point?!?
Pope Francis mass experience was amazing, tour person Massimo very arrogant and at the end we we're given a hop on hop off tickets which was horrible, the waiting time for the buses was 2 hours, that ending part screwed up the whole tour.
Massimo was kind and gracious, making everyone feel welcome in their native language. He was funny. He helped us find the clean restrooms and get a drink, then helped us through security and guided us to seats where we had a very close-up view of the Holy Father. Perfecto!
Great way to reduce hassle of securing the free tickets and getting to a popes audience. Seated right by the fence area that the pope passes and unobstructed views of the audience. About an hours waiting around, but got lovely photos of sunrise at St Peter's Square and Basillica while waiting.
The pope was great. This tour? Yeah not so much. The guides are ok I guess, but they really don't do much but lead you to a tourist trap shop. They're the Green tour by the way, it's not super obvious when booking. Go see the pope, find another group to take you
Was longer than we thought due to lines. But beautiful experience. Very crowded. Climb to dome great- Sistine Chapel was beyond words. Must see
One of my most blessed experiences a dream come true to be present at one of pope Francis audiences his words really hit home and make you think and pray for world peace
Excellent, multi-lingual guide. Very experienced, very calm and laid back, but got us seats in the centre only a few rows back. Excellent position, many thousands behind us! Popemobile passed only a few metres away! Highly recommended tour.
We had an excellent guide! He was fluent in a number of different languages. He had a great sense of humor and his timing was fabulous. We were able to see the Pope and hear him very well. Although there were thousands of people in the audience our guide helped us to great seats. From where he seated us we were able to get very good photos and videos. We would highly recommend this trip! ❤️
The Pope has a mass on Wednesdays. We met our guide at the Vatican. He told us what to expect and then we were able to shop a little before going in. We had to go through security before entering. Once inside the guide told us different places we could go and sit. He told us to go to the back of the first section and recommended the back row. We were in the very corner of this section. He told us that the Pope would be riding in the Popemobile right where we were sitting. You can tell by the pictures that we had a great view as he drove by a couple of times. I have a video but it was too large to upload. It was raining but we had a great time.
Our guide placed us in the perfect spot for pictures of the pope. Relatively little commentary, and the audience tickets are free, but getting us through the crowded entrances to the right spot was worth the price.
Great way to see the Pope. We had excellent seats, the instructions for entry were clear. No hassles of filling forms to obtain the tickets. Perks include free hop on hop off bus.
Perfect service and was a great experience to be able to see the Pope, defntly great for my parents.
This is a completely SCAM, how did you sold me something that is completely free for anyone, you charged me $159.00 to seat and see the Pope so far away, on your description says "Meet Pope" we never were close to him, I need to know how to get my money back, I don't understand how the Vatican let you scam people like this, bad business, you'll take advantage of people
Thanks to Viator I had the opportunity to a front row seat to a Papal audience! It was divinely empowering and at the same time very humbling! To God be all the glory!
It was exciting to see the Pope. I want to thank the Tour guide for his help. He was nice. Thank you from Edgar and Cecilia Lombera.
Excellent opportunity without waiting I'm long lines. Affordable and friendly personnel. Give us a bus tour for free.
Decent tour but get there 1hiur early in line and send someone to just get tickets- it’s a once a week event so that huge hall fills up fast
Its free to go anyways. No information given. Just walk together in and say goodbye. Just go alone for free. Its the same.
