Vatican Museums And Sistine Chapel With Skip The Line Ticket

Paid over the odds with what turned out to be a secondary ticket place. Sat in their tired office waiting for someone. Guy eventually took us around the corner, pointed to a queue and said that is where you need to go. It was supposed to be a skip the queue. What a joke...and in the time we waited which was 20 minutes in his office we could've been in that damn queue. Not happy! The Vatican museum was amazing in terms of visuals etc but far too busy. We shuffled round the whole place in a mass shuffle! Was pleased to get out.

The staff explained clearly how the Vatican ticketing system works and guided us through the entire entry process. We booked a guided tour through them, and everything was very well organized. Our Vatican guide was knowledgeable and professional. He showed us the most important highlights of the Vatican Museums and provided interesting information throughout the tour. After visiting the museums and the Sistine Chapel, he also guided us directly to St. Peter's Basilica, making the experience smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a well-organized tour with excellent guidance, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Vatican for the first time.

It was worth doing the Vatican tour with them. They provide us the excellent extra service with the guide. We didn't book it but they provided us. The meeting point hostel were great in explaining us how to get the tickets and how to experience the tour. It was worth every penny to book our tour in Vatican with them. I highly recommend them.

Maggie our guide was great very humble and willing to share her Christian teachings as we went through. She made sure we stayed as a group in very crowded environment.

Getting to skip the line, even though we were a little late, made all the difference. Although the museum was very crowded the variety of art is amazing. Most people skipped the contemporary galleries but I would recommend them, too

The tour guide and tour was great. He was able to get us through the crowds easily while still telling us very interesting facts. Getting the tickets around the block and down the street took longer than expected, so leave time for that and the security line before you meet the guide. Also I booked three tickets and somehow we were all in separate groups - 1 in English and 2 in Italian. Luckily the ticket booth rearranged us so we could all be in the same group. I’m not how that happened since I booked them at the same time. So I would say double check that. Once we got to the tour group everything was great.

If you purchase a Viator voucher for this experience ensure that you clarify what is included and confirmation of time as we arrived for our 3.30 tour. Could not get in until 4.30. Tickets showed the cost as €25 each yet we paid $233 to Viator.

Everyone should experience visiting this sacred place. It has the most beautiful artwork in the world.

It worked but it kind of felt strange. You get your tickets and taken to a place to jump in line. The line was hours long.

I wish I could remember the name of a church, not in tourist area, was spectacular with statues on either sides, the entire room was amazing. I think because of the crowd it ruined my experience and trip. I know it's amazing the paintings especially on the ceiling, took years to accomplish.

Skip the line was perfect for our family. I’ve been to the Vatican museum before so wasn’t essential to have a guide during our visit. We just needed to be escorted directly to the front of the line outside of the Vatican museum. That saved a massive amount of time for our family.

It says tour guide but she got me in and she left. No guide. It was packed. Shoulder to shoulder. But everything was beautiful.

Firstly we were overcharge by €88. Viator charged us €138 when the actual price was €25 each! No audio and no tour guide. Secondly the whole experience was pathetic. We had a “fast track” ticket… fast track my a*** The jobsworths in the bright yellow jackets think they can treat people like cattle… They let far too many people in at the same time..it was a joke without the laughter! I would seriously NOT recommend visiting… they make you wait then when you enter, they stand there waving there arms shouting “come on move” In the Sistine chapel, you can’t take photos, you can’t linger to look at the ceiling.. the rush you to move Oh… they also say it’s disable friendly… my a*** it is… I had to WALK up steps to get the lift! Whole experience was pathetic!!!

Great experience to get inside of Vatican museum and Sistina chapel. Employees are kind and explains everything in detail. And our group is so happy with them.

We purchased tickets for the first time slot available that day, at 8:30am and we were there at the designated time (8:00am) to pick up the tickets and walk the 3 blocks to the Vatican. The vendor was not there and we waited, knowing that we had to enter the Vatican by 9am or our tickets would be null and void. The tour guide we hired happened to know the operator and called him, we did not get the tickets until he showed up at 8:45, giving us barely enough time to get to the gate! It was very unnerving watching the clock tick and standing around on the sidewalk for 45 minutes. If we hadn't hired a guide that happened to know him, he may never had showed up with our tickets. It is worth skipping the line, but you may want to book a tour that already includes the tickets!

When we arrived to register/check-in the place was closed. I contacted the phone number on record and was told they were closed because of Easter Monday. If you knew the Vatican would be closed why would that date be available for booking.

Perfect for us with a small child, just needed to skip the line and then have our own space to wander. We couldn't have waited for hours in the sun so this was ideal, all staff were amazing and the meeting place was easy to find. Excellent value for money ! Thanks so much !

We were trying to view the Sistine Chapel and Shuvo helped us out so much! He did everything he could to make sure we got in at a later time in the day so we wouldn’t have to come all the way back the next day. He even found us a place to eat while we waited to make sure the meal was great and would get us out before our tour started. Ask for Shuvo!
