We spent 5 days in Rome. It was wonderful but Claudia’s tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica was the highlight. Only 6 people on tour gave us the personal attention we hoped for. She is very knowledgeable and extremely personable. We would highly recommend this tour and if possible request Claudia!

It was a great experience, but I had a bit of difficulty understanding the guide. There is a lot of walking and stairs. Despite my mild disability, I did just fine with all of it. Near the end of the tour, I sat down on the entrance to the Popes Vatican home.
Tour guide was excellent She was very knowledgeable and readily answered all our questions Would recommend
Amazing experience. Our guide Fred took us through the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. We had cut the line tickets so it helped with entry (lines are long). Such incredible art and history. Fred took care of our group, navigating the large crowds, provided valuable information and answered all our questions. A tour not to be missed.
Absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Alex was amazing, he is funny and full of facts! He made sure we understood the history, were able to take pictures, were comfortable in the heat etc. His hospitality was superb. The tour was around 2-3 hours and very enjoyable! we had 15 people in our group, not too big, not too small, and so good to meet and socialise with new people from all over the world. I appreciate Alex answering all my questions with enthusiasm, his energy made us all smile :) thank you Alex
Wonderful tour. Susana was an excellent guide!
Fred was an outstanding guide, providing a wealth of information in a very comfortable, efficient manner. His background as a native Roman and a trained archeologist were ideal for his role and provided particularly unique insights. He also patiently answered all questions from the group all the way through the 3 hour tour. Exceptional work!
Interesting información given by Fred my tour guide
Valentina was an excellent guide. Thank you for the fantastic, informative tour of the Vatican Museums.
Wonderful service. Patient helpful Simon and Jesse. Gaia solved our issues. Five stars
We had a semi-private tour which was 9 people in total and really enjoyed the experience. Our guide Eddy was very knowledgeable and engaging and our children (12,14) listened well and liked the way he led us through the 3 hour tour. It was exactly the right amount of information and right pace and we felt the tour was totally worth it.
This is a tale of 2 reviews. The Vatican Museum is way overcrowded. Shoulder to shoulder, had elbows and forearms in my back for the bulk of this part of the tour. Being claustrophobic, I almost had to drop out at a couple points because it was so packed with people. What made me hang in there was the best part of the tour, our guide, Federico (Fred). Unbelievable wealth of information, engaging, personable. Pointed out some of his favorite pieces in the museum and explained why he liked them and the significance of the piece. Described the symbolism of the pieces, giving commentary on the nuances. I appreciate art, but Federico got me to see past what I was seeing. Where I would typically see something and say, "oh, that's cool", now I see a piece and say, "dang, look at THAT detail". When we got to The Sistine Chapel, I was expecting it to be quiet, because there are signs galore that say it's a place of worship so talking is probhibited. It was anything but silent in there. So many people carrying on conversations. It was pretty noisy. Also, photos are not allowed, yet there were several people discreetly taking photos. One woman, not in our group, wasn't even trying to be discreet. Pulls out a camera right in front of us and starts snapping away. Federico politely told her that it wasn't allowed and she explains that nobody told her. She pleads with Federico to let her take pictures because, "I didn't know I couldn't". I was expecting to be moved to tears seeing Michelangelo's work, especially The Creation of Man, because it's so iconic, but I wasn't. Instead, I was more struck by the audacity of people and the entitelment they think they have. I know, that's a me problem. Our group broke off after The Sistine Chapel, so my wife and I got a private tour of St. Peter's Basilica with Federico. Magnificent place. Not overcrowded, plenty of space to move, to take photos and get detailed information from Federico without having to hurry for people behind us. We saw The Tombs of the Popes, JP2's tomb, the original Pieta, got to see a mass being celebrated, got some rosaries that we bought for our family blessed by a Vatican Priest. We also stood on the spot where the place the casket when Popes lie in State after they die. This was a perfect way to cap off the tour.
Yulia was funny and amazing, we had a good time and very useful info from her.
Terrible. They stole 120 euro from me and my kid. They sent a voucher and when I went to the pick up location to pick up tickets (ridiculous when all other companies email you your tickets directly) they were closed. The owner I assume, contacted me afterwards on whatsapp and refused to refund me. He said they close at 18:00 then five minutes later he said they close at 18:30. My point is they robbed me and did NOT provide the service. DO NOT USE THEM. And btw the ticket is 20 euro only and children are free but he charged me 120 euros and charged my 14 years old as an adult so save your money and nerves do NOT use this agency. I used City wonders tours for a day trip to pompeii and for a walk through the Vatican and St Peter chapel and they were amazing so I recommend them but avoid this crap!!! Peace
Incredible Vatican Tour with an Amazing Guide – JAD. We had a truly memorable experience exploring the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Our guide JAD was outstanding , incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about art and history. He explained the intricate stories behind the masterpieces, from the stunning frescoes in the Sistine Chapel to the awe-inspiring architecture of St. Peter’s Basilica, in a way that was both insightful and easy to follow.
Phenomenal. Vatican Museum is world class. Sistine Chapel explanations deepened our appreciation of what we were seeing. Great guide & learned so much from her. Thank you.
Roberta was our guide. She did such a great job. Made it personable and connected with everyone. Being thoughtful of shade in a very hot area. The museum is extremely packed which is the one negative but not the tour companies fault. The sites were insane. The Sistine chapel and the church were mind blowing. Great tour by a great tour company. Very smooth day.
Highly recommend this tour. Federico was our guide and he was so knowledgeable. Very glad to have seen the Vatican with a guide as it could be overwhelming without.

Amazing artefacts, mind blowing art work and sculptures. Our guide Ribal was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. Even though we were a small group, Ribal explained us every minute detail with great enthusiasm. Had a wonderful time with my family!
Worth paying a bit more for this top notch tour. The Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and St Peter’s Basillica are very crowded but our tour guide navigated us through in a calm way. The guide was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer lots of questions. I felt that he pointed out interesting things that the casual visitor would easily miss. This was a once in a lifetime trip for me and I would recommend that you choose this semi- private small group tour.
I opted for the semi-private Vatican tour and it was well worth the extra cost. Have a tour group of only 4 people made it much more intimate and easier to navigate the very large crowds. Susanne was a great tour guide and answered our questions and helped coordinate a special blessing in the chapel. It was a tad long for my teen daughter, but ultimately it was a great experience for us. Would absolutely recommend for others.
The place was well organized and comfortable to meet. Registration was simple, coffee shop next door, and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Elina helped us through the process and patiently answered all of our questions.
Elina was an amazing tour guide. She was so thoughtful and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She was truly a delight!
