They lied. The tour with a Max of 10 had 18 people. Tour guide over explained unnecessary information and tour lingered too long in certain areas. Just buy tickets and go on your own. You'll have a better experience.

I did fairly few guided tours in my life but this is whole another game! We arrived to Vatican, without a clear plan as it was last minute holiday so all of the online tickets to Vatican museum were sold out. By chance we ended up in this private tours office and thank god for it because having a tour with Gabriel was a blessing! For some reason the tour was delayed so we were already irritated but the overall experience was worth the wait. Gabriel is so knowledgeable and not only in the remit of his work in Vatican but also architecture, art, and history overall- he knew a lot about history of other countries (I’m from Poland and he knew a hell of a lot). Not only this but he really looked after each and every member of the tour (someone lost her phone and he was extremely helpful in getting it back). After the tour he stayed behind and told us some more stories and intricate details about the history of the place and tips on how to find things once we’re in the Basilica. Overall we thought our holiday will be ruined but thanks to Gabriel it was an amazing experience and It truly made me go back in time. Overall 11 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend him to everyone! especially if you’re in Rome for the first time! When in Rome… You speak to Gabriel! :)

Federico was absolutely fantastic; he took his time to explain the history and the little details. It was entertaining and his archeological background helped showcase the importance of the city and it's history.

Before traveling to Rome we booked “ skip the line “ tickets for the Vatican on Viator. We arrived at the meeting point and were accompanied to the entrance and skipped the huge line. The guy from the office was super friendly and gave us some info about what to see. He showed us the entrance and when we had our ticket we were free to go. Once we were inside the Museums, we realized that is was HUGE!! We really regretted not having booked a Tour guide. After our visit we decided to go back to the office to see if they had any tours going on, and the lady who assisted us was really nice and gave us a discounted price to join the tour the next day. What a difference!!! Our Tour Guide was really knowledgeable and we learned a lot of interesting facts about the Vatican, it was really worth going back inside and it gave us a different perspective of what we were visiting. The good thing is that we also got the chance to skip the line for the church and as we joined the small group, we also got a tour of the basilica. Would definitely recommend joining the Tour, it was a great experience!!!

We set out for the Vatican Museum and fortunately met a rep for CRT. We were added to a small group guided tour and saved the nuisance of queuing. Our tour guide Nicoletta was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of details about the treasures that we would have missed without her expert commentary.
