I purchased skip the line tickets for Vatican museum. We arrived 40 Minutes early. The guide waited for late arrivals 10 minutes after our ticket time, then took us to the line and left us due to the late arrivals being I. A wheel chair. We stood I. Line well over an hour - groups were getting I. Fro t of us. Once we got to the front we were yelled at for being late and was being told we couldn’t get in now because we were an hour and 45 minutes after our ticket time. we explained that our guide left us - and we got in. This is not the ticket I thought I purchased.

Rica was amazing, we only did the self tour because we where on a tight schedule but she was so amazing that we regretted not doing the full tour with her
Make sure you have WhatsApp, the host made sure to reach out to use before and after our slotted time to make sure we made it through without any issues.
Gave me a used photo of my ticket that was used an hour ago it may have been an accident but I was thrown out by security
Was surprised that the tour was 3 hours. Fully guided. All fees paid and very knowledgeable. Avoided the huge lines.
At first I was a little bit worried that we were scammed, but actually it was pretty good, the queue was short and we entered 15 min after. I recommend it
Booked last min ticket. Easy to find the tour guide amongst the chaos on the steps opposite the vatican. Very helpful. The guide took us through the queues and got us inside with full instructions as this was an unguided tour. But to get us inside without any fuss was amazing so thank you. I had been before and knew where to go so this was perfect for me.
It was so easy, the meeting point was obvious and the tour guide was very good at explaining how it all worked.
I have done the guided tour before and it’s great. However, with children this is better. You can get audio guide for cheap inside and then pace it as you feel it.
It’s worth seeing but try and avoid very crowded times as you just can’t appreciate anything if there’s a throng. We booked skip the line with Viator and were met by. Your Rome person who was brilliant and got us in the museum very quickly and with minimum fuss. She also gave very useful tulx
Highly recommend this tour. Out booking included an audio guide, you can bring your own headphones (wired aux) or pay for some at the front. 10/10 would book again.
Glad we had arranged this skip the line. The entrance of the museum is chaotic ( and this is not full season, yet!) , the guide (she was very nice.) helped us maneuver through. Then, we went through the museum on our own as we liked.
Amazing and beautiful. Only thing is there are a lot of stairs if traveling with a stroller. Other than that it was a beautiful experience.
The coordinates given on the meeting point function was wrong. It added approx 15 mins to the travel time which was stessfull. I felt that buying the ticket was a waste of money as the coordinator just crossed the street and walked you to the entrance which you could do yourself. Skip the line was not needed the day and time I took the tour
Well worth going to. Hours worth of amazing artwork and artifacts. It was a great time. They had food and souvenirs as well.
Skip the line was not skip the line, tour at 11:30 waited in line to enter an hour, then security was also long
I was really disappointed with this tour operator. For the price they charge, I expected a far better experience. Unfortunately, not only was the tour overpriced, but the staff member assigned to us was not helpful at all. They provided very little information, didn’t seem interested in answering questions, and overall made the experience feel unorganized and unprofessional. I definitely don’t feel the service matched the cost, and I wouldn’t book with them again.
Excellent service but could do with a little more directions pre picking up tickets Once located your representative was very good
we were expecting a tour guide with us. The tour was on our own the viator service only provides the tickets.
We wasted a ton of money. This was simply a ticket passed out to us and being pointed to the entrance of the museum. No skipping the line. No other support. And it was difficult to locate the person among the crowds. I get it - if the Vatican Museum is itself sold out, then you need a ticket from a tour operator. But what a scam. Find the cheapest you can. Avoid this one.
From meeting the ticket distributor who was very friendly, spoke many languages and informed us of the easiest way to navigate around the City to the ease of entry to the Museum entry point.
Overcrowded stressful and for 59€ because there were no regular tickets available (about 25€) overpriced. And yet you had to line up first and you lost 15min of your time
It was easy and seamless, I met the Tours of Rome representative at the agreed time and was given the tickets and very clear instructions. The special queue made the entry process fast which was very welcome in the rainy weather!
Book in advance for best prices Wear the right clothes for admission Follow the instructions for collecting the tickets. Get a map to help orientate yourself. Enjoy. Fabulous
Once we met the tour company, just in time, we had the time for ourselves, without being constructed.
Had good experience. We booked at 9:45am and skipped the big (likely 2 hr queue) and were first in line. It was easy to find the guide using the instructions on the app and she explained where to go to line up well and allowed for extra questions. Very smooth process. I will book again next time thanks.
It is not actually skip the line - still had to line up with numerous other skip the line ticket holders only to be told that administration needed to print the ticket as online from what’s up did not work - meaning not able to skip the line twice. One of the tickets did not work and lucky we were in group to confirm was valid. The attraction was good - would not do it again - although glad to have done it. Crowded and obviously overbooked. Guilded groups and guilds difficult to navigate around. Tour operator needs to give option to have tickets emailed incases like ours WhatsApp not successful or at least clear instructions.
When in Rome, one needs to see the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. It was a great tour. It is quite overwhelming to see all of the artwork, statutes, etc. Amazing.
Exhaustingly stunning. Much better organized than when we last came, about thirty years ago. Don't miss the Raphael rooms.
It was a memorable moving experience. There was a massive line heading in so the skip the line ticket made a huge difference.
Still long line even with the skip the line pass. Actually the longest line. I couldn’t imagine lines during busy season so November was a better time to go. Still we were able to get in a see everything we wanted. You need at least 3 hours.
This tour is definitely the way to go if you have mobility issues and can't keep up with a guided group tour. We completely skipped the lines and were admitted right away. There were lifts to accommodate my walker so I was able to go everywhere. The museums were well appointed with explanatory plaques for each item. The Sistine Chapel was amazing and we had full access. We were able to go completely our own pace. I highly recommend this informative and very accessible tour.
There wasn’t any guide or and audio guide device provided.. and its over priced.. not recommended to anyone
The walk through was worth it but too many people. Was not able to appreciate or take time to absorb all the wonders we wanted to see.
Seeing the Sistine chapel (it was hard to find). It was way too packed, people stayed in front of paintings blocking the view for extended periods of time. Way too busy, especially if someone has anxiety.
Enjoyed it all. Great value for the experience. Process was easy, instructions clear, no lines to enter. 10/10
visiting the sistine chapel. Otherwise not happy with Viator Rome. As a tourist first time traveler to Rome I'm relying with Viator Assistance. Paid $$$ but they were no where around. We have to ask help from other people to get Vatican. Personaly ask the VAtican guard or to help us out. They just told us to in line???? We bought a skipo the line!!!! Viator is no where to guide us....
The experience is great and tour operator deliver the ticket nicely. But the cost of the ticket is 4 times the actual price that is insane. Felt cheated after went to the attractions and realize that easy to get online tickets from government sites.
All was amazing to see, enjoyed all of the areas seen. Would definitely recommend to everyone. It is a bucket list place done on my list.
We arrived 25 mi uses last our entry time (transportation issues) and they let us right in. This was great because it was 97 degrees and we didn't have to wait in the long line in the sun. On our own we set our own pace and were in and out in less than 2 hours as we were on a time crunch. What an amazing museum!
These tickets are invaluable as the ticket line was over a mile long and it was 38 degrees and far too hot to wait in the queue. The tour operator sent them to me the evening before so we were ready to go at our allotted time. Its busy and my only criticism which is nothing against the tour operator, is the amount of groups that block the walkways which makes it difficult to move on .
July is one of the busiest times of the year in Rome. The Vatican is no exception. These tickets gave us the opportunity to walk past everyone else who didn’t have a ticket - and the line had to have been at least a quarter mile long. A couple of things to know, the tickets may come to you through WhatsApp. I never received mine in my email, but I did receive instructions that explained I would be getting them through my email or through WhatsApp. I did not catch that last part in my email and was figuring that out the day of in the blazing hot sun when I could barely read my screen on my phone. So, read the directions carefully and have your stuff ready to go. Also, be sure you take your passport with you when you go to the Vatican Museum. The other thing that I did not realize is the sheer size of the Vatican museum. You will see everything from ancient Egyptian mummies and sarcophagi to rooms painted by Rafael and a hall of tapestries and another hall of maps. It took us approximately two hours to move through it and you have to move through in a certain order. We moved through at a pretty quick pace. The Sistine Chapel is one of the last things you see. It is very crowded. I would totally skip any guided tours of this place and get an audio guide for eight euro at the counter inside.
So easy to skip the line, and it was nice avoiding the heat, as the regular line gets very long! I highly recommend paying extra to get easier access.
The tour thru the Sistine chapel was great as well as the Vatican museum. I was disappointed that we were just dropped off at the door to St Peter’s basilica as this was the part that I really wanted to have a tour guides knowledge and guidance for.
This is the worst experience I’ve had at the Vatican. Noisy. Overcrowded. Much of the museum and then Sistine were impossible to see simply because of the crowds. The tours have entirely taken over. The actual tickets worked well. Far more expensive than buying directly from the Vatican, but worth it not to stand in the long queue at the museum entrance.
We booked this fast pass entrance ticket to the Vatican since most of the other options that had tours included were sold out. Make sure you understand this is NOT for a tour! It actually worked out well for us since we really enjoyed going at our own pace with the audio guide that the museum provides! Had we thought ahead more, we probably could’ve gotten an entrance ticket for cheaper, but the line with this ticket moved extremely quickly as it was mainly group tours in the line, and we were in the museum within five minutes of it opening! I would really recommend the 8 AM ticket time as the museum opens at eight and the queue seems long at first before it opens, but the line goes extremely quickly as soon as the doors are open. We also loved having access to Rafael Rooms, as many of the guided tours skipped over this, and we saw lots of people disappointed that they could not enter with their group tour. Do not miss out on the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel!
Fast delivery. Easy to follow instructions. Prompt response from vendor on WhatsApp. Great value! Would definitely use again.
What a waste of money, no que skipping.. still had to be hauled through with huge crowds and ques of people. One can not stop and admire anything, you are rushed through by security telling you no one may stop... absolutely shocked, there were thousands and thousands of people everywhere.. what a let down.. Definitely not worth the money spent at all...
Incredible experience! Skip The line tickets were sent just as advertised and admission process went smoothly.
It was billed As a tour. It wasn’t. It was misrepresented. The website said the tour would be between 13/20 people. It was just a ticket
