We will visit Trionfale Market together, the largest and most important food market in Rome, where we will stop at several selected stalls to taste exceptional, fresh, and authentic local products.
Travelers will walk through the elegant Prati district, a local Roman neighborhood near the Vatican area, known for its food shops, cafés, bakeries, and everyday Roman life away from the most touristy streets.
Travelers will pass through the Vatican area and learn how this neighborhood connects with local Roman food culture. This experience does not include entry to the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, or Vatican City attractions.
Travelers will discover the local streets around Via Andrea Doria and the Trionfale neighborhood, an authentic residential area where Romans shop, eat, and live their daily food traditions.

We had a phenomenal experience with Gabi on our food tour of Rome’s Prati neighborhood! This was so much more than just a food tour — we truly got to experience Rome like the locals. From visiting the local market and tasting incredible foods, including authentic buffalo mozzarella, to learning about the different types of prosciutto and how they’re made, every stop was delicious and interesting. Gabriele was our guide he was incredibly knowledgeable and told us funny stories as well had enormous knowledge about the foods we tried. The providers he took us to had the highest quality products. It was a small group so we could ask lots of questions and Gabi had all the answers. As a local himself he also understood the history of the area that influenced the food options. Gabi gives phenomenal food tours in Rome. Went on my second tour with him today and visited the Prati area near the Vatican. Our first tour was 3 years ago in the Campo d’Fiori area.
