Vatican City St. Peter's Basilica Reserved Entry And Audio Guide

Tour was to start at ten, then was moved to eleven. Guide took us upto the basilica and explained the history of the vatican and the major saints. Before entering the basilica we had to down load an audio app where we could listen too the history regarding the inside of the basilica. The guide left us at this point and we went on our own. If we had questions, he wasn't around, plus I couldn't plug the headset into my cell phone, so I couldn't listen to this portion of the tour.

Skip the line is a nice phrase but while it saves significant time it doesn’t stop queuing. We waited 90 minutes to get in to St Peter’s. Fortunately it was worth it.

That you all change everything at the last minute and is never what we paid for . You all did it for the Vatican City and for the louvre Museum. We bought 100 dlr tickets and gave us entrance for 32dlrs

One of the main reasons we spent a couple extra days in Rome before our cruise was to tour the Basilica and the Vatican City. The Basilica was beautiful and the tour was very informative.

If you’re lucky enough to get Damas, you hit the jackpot. From the moment he arrived, he was engaging, nice and showed a wealth of information on the subject matter. It was the best guided tour I’ve been on and I’ve been to many over the years. The staff at the office were so kind and professional. My sister and I arrived very early for our timeslot, than goodness because they asked if we’d like to move into the next opening and we gladly said yes. And that is how we won the lottery, Dames was our tour guide, what a wonderful experience!

earlier was better less crowds and was cooler- it did become crowded in the Basilica we enjoyed attending Mass.

This tour was very good but a lot of walking and not handicap friendly…although a few handicap concessions were made for someone on a scooter.

This was the highlight of my trip this week in Rome. My wife and I even was able to see a wedding ceremony while touring there.

Bring earbuds so you can listen to the Audio. You will meet a couple of blocks away from your location and will need Wi-Fi or internet to download the QR code. You will need a copy of your receipt and a copy of your ID. If you do not have these items, you may not be able to get into the facilities. They stated they needed to see our CC statement to show we purchased the tickets at the fast pass entrance. It would be less expensive if you just went there early, purchased the fast lane ticket, and scanned the QR Code to listen to the history. If I were to do this again, I wouldn't have booked this ticket through them.

Super easy and quick access. We did, skip the line, and it was worth it. The entire process was very simple.

I was very happy with the tour. They had a gentlemen escort me from the voucher redemption location to the vatican entrance check point, which was very helpful. They even offered a complimentary bottle of water. The Basilica was incredibly beautiful. I was happy I got a ticket to the time because you can then go down into the church after you climb the dome. Found out the tickets were free. Went to the bassilica at 7:45am found out it was free and went in no line

Too much walking on the hot weather outside Vatican but inside everthing is fine. Still have to que outside even duo we booked tickets in advance.

Booked outside as didn't want to wait in the free que realized tickets needed collecting quick phone call and wats app exchange with joby and we were good to go it's a must see when in Rome

There was no experience. I was charged for Basilia ticket, actually this was a free entry. I don't understand what was the reason I paid for.

I’m sorry I didn’t read reviews before buying. This is a complete waste of money. Access to the basilica was free and there was nothing like “skip-the-line” at all.

They were very attentive. I went over to pick up my tickets only three minutes after ordering them and the tickets were ready. One of the staff walked me to the entrance of the Vatican so I would know where to go through.

My husband and 14 year old daughter visited St. Peter’s Basilica on our European vacation. It was beautiful and absolutely exquisite. Booking through this tour company on Viator really helped, too! There was a guide that walked us to the entrance and gave us some very helpful information. The agency to pick up our tickets with our Viator voucher was very easy to find prior to our excursion.

Checking in was so easy! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Made sure I got through the check in area.

Wear comfortable shoes, make sure you wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees. Bring a small fan and maybe a small umbrella.

Got to the location to pick up tickets and was told that they had not received any tickets that day. So as a result we couldn’t do the tour

The meeting point indicated in the confirmation is actually an office where the tickets gets picked up.

It is a waste of money and time. The expense did not provide any benefit but it did waste time and effort to locate the office. This was not worth it at all for us.

Booking ahead made the process so much easier and enjoyable. We did not wait in a long line and we were in and out in a short amount of time.

Unfortunately didn't attend at this time we went earlier due to the extreme heat. And there was no entry fee

Easy online booking, my only complain it should be all digital. Rather I had to go another place near Vatican to pick up physical tickets.

This was a wonderful option for making the ticket buying process easier. It was very helpful to receive a map and recommendations of where to start.

We didn't get in any faster than the other lines and stood in the sun. It was a complete waste of time and money. Book an actual tour. The guy with the "flag" was not visible and did not do a thing.

Inconvenient! Office to pick up tickets is best hidden place in town. On top of all the walking you already do in Rome, you have to find their office to pick up tickets - you walk way pass Vatican and then ONCE you find their office door - you have walk all the way back. There are definitely better and easier options to purchase tickets in town.

Listen to the guide. He practically took us to the line to get in the basilica. He was friendly and efficient!

Be carefull when you book as misleading make sure check what your booking as it’s very misleading and the packages are overly priced

The meeting place was a bit of challenge to find. The Audio guide downloaded only at around 20% so could not use it. So for a free venue the ticket was too expensive as audio guide did not work and there was no line to skip. Staff was very nice though.

The St Peter Basilica was astonishing to visit and it is a must see when you are in Rome. This ticket service is reliable if you arrive in time at the kiosk. They will give you the tickets of the viator voucher 15 min before your time slot starts. A guide will guide you to the fast lane/online registration tickets lane. It's important to buy the fast lane, in order to prevent standing too long in line for the free lane in the heat. In 10 min we were in at our timeslot of 10AM.

The overall experience at St. Peter's was beautiful ! I think it would be more helpful to include better instructions on obtaining the tickets and process. But for the price and experience it was worth the little bit of hassle.

Escorted to front of line, team very polite and easy to work with for last minute scheduling. Only recommend that everyone opens pdf for meeting point as is different from app and that caused a bit of delay and extra steps on our behalf but manager working to reconcile that info. Overall great experience

There was no skip the line even though it was included in the booking. We had to queue up with everybody else.

Difficult to locate group to get tickets. Not told to bring headphones and would be using phone to hear the tour.

The skip the line, did not skip anything. Stood in line for over an hour in the hot sun before entering.

Sundays are Free, don't waste your money on this. Skip the line was longer than the free line. Spend you $ elsewhere.

This isn’t a skip the line ticket. Someone just walks to the line, who can can be 3-4 hours long. False advertisement.

This is a total scam. We waited in one over an hour and had to finally leave. The god that Lein is up, he lied and said when we get to the White House, there is no more line. He knew this was not the case and the white umbrella was the start of the Lamb. Most of the Lein was outside in the direct sun. I don’t know why the tour just didn’t send rotations with us on the long way so we could plan accordingly. A refund on the ticket would be nice. This was no different than buying a chicken on your own. The audio download that accompanied the tour is something anybody can get.

It was absolutely not "skip the line". These are normal wait in line forever tickets. Just buy the normal tickets.

Tickets were never sent to me. I reached out, I called but received nothing and had no help from any service. Why should I be reaching out on the day of the ticket and asking where they are?

The guide got us in the line to skip the public line but disappeared before we even got to start up the electronic guide. Mine never worked and my husband’s only worked for a short few moments.
