Sevada was our guide and she was amazing. So knowledgeable and learned alot! Walked us through every area and explained everything with such great enthusiasm and detail.

We had such a great time touring St. Peter’s Basilica today with Martina from Not Boring Tours! She was honestly amazing. You can tell right away how much she knows and loves Rome and its history. She made the whole tour so interesting and shared so many little details and stories that we would have never known on our own. She was also so sweet, patient, and really took the time to answer all of our questions. St. Peter’s Basilica was absolutely beautiful, but having Martina as our guide made it even better. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Rome. If you’re booking a tour, definitely ask for Martina! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This tour was great; interesting for both adults and kids alike! Sevada, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and engaging; my entire family loved her! Even my youngest son, who is very hard to entertain, came out of the tour saying, “that was so cool.” Totally recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun way to learn about the history of Rome and the basilica of St Peter’s including the meaning behind its beautiful architecture, paintings, and statures. My tour guide was a treasure trove of information. Martina gave the details behind each statue like the Sicilian jasper used and what the skeleton and the hourglass meant. It was exciting to go down into the tombs of former popes and to hear about Nero the lad vis a vis Nero who killed for sport. And even why the bullet proof glass was installed and we cld no longer touch Jesus' feet. If you book her she will tell which pieces LOL! High energy, historical facts, patience and a thoroughly entertaining. Good job Martina!

Had some complications and we ended up not being able to make the tour on the day it was scheduled. Mike reached out and went above and beyond to accommodate us and found a tour for the next day. As for the tour, I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see more of Rome. Our tour guide was Savada and she was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We booked the experience several weeks prior to our visit. We received an email that due to some scheduling at the Basilica our time changed. That was fine, but when we showed up to the place, they didn’t have a record of us. When they finally found the record, we realized we were with a large group, though the Tour said small group, which is one of the reasons we chose it. The tour guide was fabulous. Alexandra was lovely and informative and tried so hard. She was the best part of the tour. It definitely seemed like organized chaos and trying to get in with the heat and pushing and shoving individuals was disappointing. The headsets didn’t work that great either. We choose the Tour because of the company being called not so boring tours. The tour was highly informative and historical and packed a ton of information in but I think we would have been better off doing this on our own.

The guys working for the company were amazing! We got mixed up at the beginning, but they were able to meet us in line, come find us, and were so friendly the whole time. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the headcount, so we couldn’t be part of the tour, but the staff were incredibly kind and gave us a full refund. We still got into the museum and the Sistine Chapel, which we really appreciated! It’s a shame we missed the tour because we’ve only heard great things about this company, but next time we come to Rome we’ll definitely book with them again!

We had travel delays that were going to make us miss our tour. Viator was not helpful but this was our provider and they know how to provide customer service! They pushed our start back by an hour and it was an amazing tour! Sevada was our guide and she is easy to be around, was amazing with the stories and connecting us with the fun facts of St. peter’s. My family had the most amazing experience and we highly recommend this company!

Sevada was absolutely amazing!!! We were in the area and asked to start early if she was available so she met us an hour before our scheduled time and we headed over to get in line. Over the next few hours she guided us through the Basilica and had amazing insights and knowledge into everything we were seeing. My girlfriend and I agreed that was the best money we spent during our ten day trip through Italy! Would highly recommend!!!

My wife and I did a Basilica tour with Sevada and it was a really great experience. She’s an excellent guide, really knowledgeable and fun. She paced the tour well, showed us some hidden gems, and just made the whole tour really enjoyable. We had a wonderful time. We also used the same tour company on a previous trip for the Vatican Museums with Mike, and that was excellent as well. Our daughter did the tour last year with another guide Josie, and said she was somewhat arrogant, so it probably just depends a bit on the guide I guess. I’d definitely recommend asking for Sevada or Mike if you book with them. Both were fantastic.

Our guide Sevada was friendly and knowledgeable. With her, the time that we had to spend in line for the security check flew by, as she entertained us with lots of interesting information about the surrounding buildings and the story of pope John Paul II (!? Not sure about his English name). Inside, she impressed us with an entertaining and informative narrative, covering art, architecture, and history, that definitely made it more easy to understand and enjoy what we saw. My twelve year old son was impressed as well. All in all a great experience.

Savannah was fantastic. She’s so knowledgeable and easy to listen to - friendly and funny. We loved this tour and everything we learned.

We had a wonderful time with our family and our tour guide Mike, he had very good stories and kept us entertained the whole time, would do again. Mike is such a funny and interesting guy, love him!

Learned a lot of fun facts. The line didn’t take too long and the guide was great. Pointed out things I would not have seen by myself.

It’s quite simple to give a review of five, Sevada is a very professional and excellent tour guide who makes you feel comfortable asking questions and having conversation. She flows through the tour with ease and give you confidence that you have time to explore as much as possible. We toured the last day the Holy Doors were open so you can imagine how busy it was yet her ability to isolate us and have moments to educate was very well appreciated. Her knowledge of the history of the area along with the way, she represents herself as a professional was very much appreciated and gives her a command of her audience with calculator pieces of information in a manner you can absorb and move onto the next monument. She was terrific.

So how do I say it?? We had a very special tour of St. Peters with Mike on our last day in Rome. I was promised a good time and Mike delivered. Im standing in a café buying cappuccino when I'm greeted by this guy with a big Hello John! Lets get things started! Could not have been more welcoming. Mike had everything covered, from negotiating the very substantial lines to get in, down to the wonderful background stories of the endless awe inspiring objects in the Basilica including patiently waiting for Audrey to take thousands of photos! We had a wonderful time! A big shout out to Mike and his company. We did 4 tours total, everything professional and comfortable. Thank you Mike and NOT BORING TOURS!

We had a wonderful visit to St. Peter’s Basilica thanks to our guide, Seveda. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and significance of the Basilica. Her explanations were clear and filled with fascinating details we would have missed on our own. This tour was the highlight of our time in Rome—highly recommended!

Let me start my review by thanking Mike, who, despite missing our originally scheduled tour on Saturday gave us the opportunity to reschedule for the following day instead of forfeiting our reservation since we missed it due to taking care of lost luggage at the airport upon arrival. Now, our tour guide ended up being Ms. Savannah who was very knowledgeable. She made waiting in line less tedious by sharing history with us that pertained to the Vatican, the popes and and even the architects that built the Piazza San Pietro and the little bits of trivia that made it what we see today. She was patiently answering our questions and didn’t mind the interruptions at all. She explained each sculpture and artwork that we saw inside St. Peter’s Basilica and what the importance of each were. It probably helped that we were a very small group. Two couples to be exact so she was very attentive to our questions and also offered information that we would otherwise not know about or think to ask. Mike I’m sure would have been an awesome guide but he was right when he said that Savannah was just as equally amazing. I highly recommend this small group tour to anyone visiting the Vatican. Another special treat today was that we crossed the Holy Door to St. Peter’s Basilica on the last Sunday of the Jubilee year before it closes on January 6th and never to open for another 25 years. Now isn’t that what you call blessed! Thank you Mike and Savannah for this wonderful tour. All the best!!

Very disappointed!!! The tour guy had a water bottle for us to locate her at the big line to go to the St Peter’s Basilica…. I paid $160 to literally stay for over 45 minutes in a big line to get into the Vatican. No skip line. The tour guy had no head phones. She was gonna get the one at St Peter’s Basilica! Honestly don’t waste your money with this because after we get in everything was free I don’t know where was the $160 that they charge for me, my husband and my two infant kids! Honestly, I think this is a scam and unfortunately, I will never see my money back! But you know what probably you guys need so much of that money so keep it as a present because you guys didn’t give any experience for my family!

Our family had a phenomenal tour of the Vatican and Holy Doors. Our guide Seveda was so knowledgeable and shares the most interesting stories. We toured with our two young children and they also really enjoyed! I would HIGHLY recommended this tour.

We have visited before but never had a guide. Our guide Mike was humorous ( appropriately so) and full of interesting facts. He engaged with our group to just the right level . Lots of observations that we just hadn’t noticed before or were completely unaware of. Our children , 11 and 16 enjoyed the tour too - something which they never say !

Our guide Josie was fabulous!!! She was so knowledgeable and you could tell she really knows her history. She taught me a lot I didnt know about the Basilica and different Popes. Walking through the Holy Door was so moving. I highly recommend this tour...and Josie!
