Vatican tour was brilliant in no small part due to our wonderful guide Chiara. She was friendly and funny but she had a wonderful knowledge of everything we were seeing. Well worth booking this tour, particularly for the skipping the line entry and if your lucky you’ll get Chiara as your guide.

We were very happy with this tour that we booked through Italia Tours. Our tour guide Nadya was knowledgeable and a passionate historian with a good sense of humour. She made the whole experience enjoyable - even though we covered a lot of ground. Well worth the money, not to mention cutting the line - when one sees how long the lines are.

Ciara was an outstanding tour guide. She made a real effort to remember me and kept me fully engaged throughout the tour. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable she was about the art exhibits—she provided rich historical context for the pieces and sculptures, and made sure I never got lost in the crowd. Highly recommend her for future visitors!

great tour with nadya. she was so informative and personable, and the tour didn’t feel like 3.5 hours (which is usually longer than i would do). it was fun and allowed enough time to enjoy the sights, without dragging on forever. very reasonable price as well for what i would call an ‘intimate’ tour, i think there was 12 in our group.

Meeting place well explained. Tour was at a great pace. Enjoyed the information from guide. Helped understand the artwork and Vatican City. So good to cut through the lines with the tour. Whole experience there about 5 hours.

Chiara was my guide and she was awesome; she kept the tour interesting. There is quite a bit of walking even though it's an expedited tour (which is good because it would take weeks to see everything). A/C isn't available so be prepared in summer months for it to be hot and crowded.

My family had a wonderful time on our tour of the Vatican. Marianne is a great tour guide! She was very knowledgeable, made sure everyone stayed together & had a good time and spoke English very well. Booking the tour with our ItaliaPass was easy and they gave us good information about where to meet & what to wear (special rules for what to wear to churches). I would definitely recommend ItaliaPass!

We loved visiting the Vatican and, given the crowds and heat, the Italia Tours lounge was well worth the tour from the start. Given we were there during the weekend of Pentecost, crowds were especially large. People without “skip the line” access were waiting over four hours to enter! Please be aware this is basically a march through to the Sistine Chapel. There are certainly spotlight items along the way but everyone - not just those with this tour- pass the galleries and move towards the chapel. The ear pieces were perfect for keeping up with the guide while still being able to pause for our desired pictures. Given the special services, we were not able to access several areas of the vatacombs and chapels. Sabrina did a great job educating us and sharing many fantastic art pieces with us!

Highly recommend this tour. The guide, Sandra, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Vatican was extremely busy and we were grateful that our tickets were already purchased and gave us skip the line access. Italitours had amazing support and were always accessible through what’s app and email. I highly recommend it. The primo membership pass was well well worth it and in our few days in Rome we managed to make use of a number of benefits.

The cost is worth it! The end of the tour in the catacombs when you go up the stairs is breathtaking. The tour is great. This was our first trip to Rome and we would take this tour again. There is so much too see.

It is fantastic. Best experience you will ever have. We used ItaliaTours to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter’s Basilica, and The Colosseum so far. Our tour guide for the Vatican was Massimo and he is superb, very friendly and helpful. Luigi was our guide for The Colosseum and he is amazing, just like Massimo he was so gracious and very intelligent. We have learned so much and would not trade it for anything. I am very grateful that we got to experience these attractions like this. We have the Accademia Gallery next to tour and I cannot wait to get these kind of experience again!

Great tour. I had injured my knee the previous day, and our tour guide made sure I could keep up. He even found me a seat in the Sistine Chapel. The lines were enormous, but our “skip the line” tickets were well worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced.

Nadya was a great guide. She knew the history and exhibits very well. The tour was very informative. My wife has some mobility challenges. Nadya was very patient with her as we did the tour. We were very fortunate because the Sistine Chapel had just reopened the day prior to our tour, so we got to go inside it. Her English was good, so it was easy to understand her.

Vatican and Vatacombs tour with Marian was wonderful! My daughters and I loved it! Marion is very knowledgeable and kept us amazed with her passion and expertise about everything we saw. She was kind and patient and welcomed our questions. I’m so glad we booked this tour instead of doing the museum, etc. on our own. We learned so much!

We met with Sabrina outside the office and we were given a rundown of tour and necessary information. We proceeded to the Vatican, with Sabrina making the entry process hassle free. The tour was excellent, very well paced and our guide was extremely knowledgeable, whilst making it interesting. Thoroughly recommended

Marianne was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and pointed out the key highlights. It is really overwhelming to see so many sculptures paintings frescoes and historical artifacts. Well worth the money to go on this tour. Just note that the tour is physically demanding with lots of steps and ground to cover. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

This is touted as "Entire Vatican & Vatacombs: Treasures of the Sistine Chapel" , it was not the entire but you certainly can't do the entire anything here in a few hours. I would say it was definitely enough. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Again, hard to retain all the information being delivered for sure. It was very well organized!

Very impressed with ItaliaTours overall. Our guide for the Vatican tour was very knowledgeable and interesting, and was really good at helping the group navitgate the chaotic logisitics required to get through the tour spaces. He gave us the right amount of information and managed a few challenging folks in the tour group very effectively.

Massimo was an amazing tour guide. With an Art History background, Massimo provided a lot of insight and information on a lot of art that is in the Vatican Museum. The pace of the tour was good. Answered many questions. Only challenges and things that Massimo has no control over, lots of walking, overcrowded, and weather was very cool and it rained. But I'll take the rain and cool weather over the 32+ degree Celsius any day cuz Massimo said that the Vatican Museum is not air conditioned.

We did not enjoy our tour. I’m not sure why they allow so many people in at the same time. We were wall to wall people- and were worried about getting crushed as we were pushed along into the flow of people. One of our group got swooped into a different area and was gone. With so many visitors - it was too noisy to hear our guide (yes we had head sets) It was absolutely terrible.

We had an amazing day yesterday with Chiara. She thoroughly explained the history and was sarcastically funny and witty with her comments. Would definitely book another tour with her!

Absolutely stunning. Our guide, Chiara Antonelli, was so great! An art historian, entertaining, and made our tour such a joy. Our small group had 12 adults and 6 children, and she kept the attention of all. Her knowledge and respect of the art contained within was wonderful.

Nadia was an amazing guide, the best we have ever experienced. Not only is she knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican but she is very passionate about what she does. This resonates in her delivery and method. 3.5 hours flew by rather swiftly. A must see, ask for Nadia.
