Warning, this is a scam. The tour operator changed the meet point the day before, did not show, would not answer calls and then rejected my request for a refund. We were at the designated spot 30 minutes in advance.

Itinerary
The Vatican Museums are the national museum of the Vatican City, in Rome. Founded by Pope Julius II in the 16th century, they occupy a large part of the vast courtyard of the Belvedere and are one of the largest art collections in the world, since they display the enormous collection of works of art accumulated over the centuries by the popes: the Sistine Chapel and the papal apartments frescoed by Michelangelo and Raphael are part of the works that visitors can admire on their journey. Although the museums are located entirely in Vatican territory, their entrance is in Italian territory, in viale Vaticano 6 in Rome.
Visit the marvelous Sistine Chapel and admire Michelangelo's frescoes, famous all over the world and considered a cornerstone of Western art. The Sistine Chapel (in Latin: Sacellum Sixtinum), dedicated to Mary Assumed into Heaven, is the main chapel of the apostolic palace, as well as one of the most famous cultural and artistic treasures of the Vatican City, inserted in the itinerary of the Vatican Museums. It was built between about 1475 and 1481, at the time of Pope Sixtus IV della Rovere, from which it took its name. It is known throughout the world both for being the place where the conclave and other official ceremonies of the pope are held (in the past also some papal coronations), and for being decorated with some of the best known and most celebrated works of art in the artistic civilization worldwide, among which the famous frescoes by Michelangelo stand out.

I had the worst experience ever. We've book a tour for 350 euros and they just cancelled our reservation only a day prior.
The tour was meant to start at 9.30am to beat the crowds but we did not enter the Vatican museum till at least 11 am
Loved my tour with Juliana! She was very knowledgeable and was able to get us around to see the best parts of the museums even with the heavy crowds!
Tour guide was outstanding. The Viator organization not so much. I must have received at least a dozen reminders of time and date. In the end they were all wrong. Fortunately the time was later than earlier. Not good.
Fantastic guide , very informative and friendly. Invited and answered questions constructively and knowledgeable. Invaluable experience, thank you.
Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide, easy meeting place, perfect flow through tour with explanations! Sistine chapel close for conclave so tour ended early and no refund from viator. I’d recommend but maybe viator should have contacted us to adjust rate.
Although we misunderstood our meeting point and arrive late to the right location. They were still able to accommodate us at a later time. The tour itself was amazing and our tour guide was able to explain and pinpoint areas of interest to us all. I gave it five stars because it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. I would also take this tour again if I have an opportunity to visit Rome again in the future.
Gabriel was our guide and he was fabulous. He was a great story teller with extensive knowledge of the history of the vatican. In the short time that was available and due to the crowds he was able to guide us to the most important and memorable experiences in both the tour and the Vatican museum. Highly recommend Gabriel!
Awesome tour guide who knew his stuff and made the overcrowded place more bearable. Cimmunication was very clear at the very beginning and the tour was fery organized.
Everything was very well organized, and executed. The tour guide was great and the ability to hear her in a crowded, noisy space was very important. It was a great experience for our first time visiting the Vatican. I would highly recommend them for your tour.
Vincenzo is an excellent guide with the heart of a teacher. He is lively, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The tour was interesting and fun and we saw and learned about so many things. I highly recommend this tour, and Vincenzo in particular, to anyone visiting the Vatican.
We loved our tour. Silvia was the best. She showed us all the important pieces of art and kept the group moving really well
First time experiencing a tour of the Sistine Chapel. Great experience with a knowledgeable guide. The time of the tour was changed from my original booking and even after being notified of the first change, however, our group was flexible.
Great tour guide. I’m glade we paid for a guide since there are two lines, one for guides and then the general public. Much faster. The tour is very fast pace but feels right. You end up at St. Peter’s Basilica and the guide leaves you there to look around on your own.
Rebecca was an excellent guide - full of information and history about the Vatican. Skip the line to view the Sistine Chapel with an informative sheet showing who’s who on the ceiling.
Must see!Amazing tour! Would definitely recommend. Access to Sistine chapel included. Sara our tour guide was lovely! the sistine chapel is a incredible place!!!!!
The guide was wonderful, walking shoulder to shoulder for 3 hours was horrible. Horribly over crowded. There was no tour of the Sistine Chapel, just the rooms with art and sculptures. Worst tour we have ever been on. Again, it was not the guide’s fault.
Our guide Antonio was amazing. The tour was stunning and breath taking. Antonio took us places where the general public could not go. He explained the chapel in great detail I would recommend this tour.
Really nice and friendly tour guide, knew all information needed. Couldn’t be more thankful. We will be back to see all those iconic places in more in-depth visits. We loved and enjoyed this tour.
The guide is very knowledgeable and took the time to describe in great detail some fascinating facts. He took great care of all of us. You can tell she has passion for her career, and loves what she does. It was definitely with it.
Our guide, Doria, was very knowledgeable. The tour was well organized, well paced and I would recommend it. This tour is fantastic. very very happy! thank you Romana Tour!!!
Vatican is a treasure of world!! Absolutely fantastic experience. Well worth the money. The tour guide was fantastic and passionate about the tour. Agency professional and organized. RECOMMENED!
The tour guide was very well informed answered questions freely and if she wasn't sure would check. This tour was fun and informative and definitely paced well!
Guide was full of fantastic, funny and random information. It is very easy to get lost and loose time doing lines or passing by a key piece of the history and not even look without someone who knows and guide you.
Vatican what a passion! and the sistine chapel? Too bad you can't take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel, but being there was magical. an atmosphere of eternity!!!
The tour was amazing. The guide was amazing! she did great. Made sure her tour group was always accounted for 10/10! Magnificent art and history! Vatican Museum and grounds, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Bas
The treasures of the Vatican are to be visited over and over again. The guide was very funny. He is an archeologist & well versed in the history of the Vatican museums & Sistine Chapel and provided us with enough details that we would never remember them all but provided a great foundation for the tour. The meeting point was very easy to find thanks to great.
Every time we come to Rome you can't miss this tour Great detail from tour guide, even though there was to many people in the grounds she managed to keep order until we got to the Sistine Chaple. Extremely informative and decently organized.
Second visit to vatican! The Vatican was beautiful and amazing. Our Tour Guide was brilliant so full of information and obviously very passionate about history. Amazing tour, extremely descriptive and professional!
Great tour with our guide, very good clear english, expertly leading us through the crowds making sure to point out. We had a great time touring the Vatican!
The guide Filippo very professional and very prepared. But at the Vatican Museum he explained that we could either visit the papal apartments painted by Rafaello or relax with the group in the Sistine Chapel of Michelangelo. I think it is not possible to lose the painted apartments of Rafaello was a very serious failure.I was very sad and my companion too. For the amount paid I think it was fair a differentiated treatment. At first the tour was scheduled for 16.30 after they alerted that it was 14.30 (;14.00 in the agency) I think something wrong happened and the value was not appropriate for the tour done. Greetings. Ettore
